After being a faithful customer for 9 yrs, once a month, roughly spending $50.00 per visit, do the math, never in my life have I ever experienced the customer service I received. This was a 3 day ordeal, after being hung up 5 - 6 times by 2 - 3 different mgrs. I had taken pictures of receipt and license, permits. This all started on 2/17/15 @ 6:49 pm, when we ordered, 2 burritos, asada, little beans, extra mean and cheese ONLY, Ater coming home with order, we saw they had put Pico de gallo inside, I was angry I had to go back but I picked up the re-made burritos, OMG I couldn't believe what I got!! They used old meat, meat that was probably put aside because it wasn't used in time, NO extra meat, when I paid $7.98 for it and NO cheese, when I paid $1.00 for, it wasn't until I got home the 2nd time we discovered it, my son was so disappointed, he threw his burrito away, my husband ate his because he was hungry but by this time the anger and anxiety level had reached a whole new level, I already deal with anxiety, there was no way I wanted to go back a 3rd time, we did make the 1st call that day, spoke to the 1st mgr, she hung up on him, we decided to take care of it on the 18th, my husband explained and was hung up on 2 times by a female mgr, he was going to leave it as is, but I wasn't going for the unprofessional behavior, on the 19th, the more I thought about it the madder I got, so that's when I stepped in and thought I would get different results, I started explaining to the mgr on duty, this time a male, when I started explaining, he said he wasn't going to talk about this anymore and hung up on, I called back, a girl answered, I told her I was going to see face to face what kind of mgr would treat customers that way, so when I went in and asked to see this mgr in person, he came out, I told him, so your the mgr that hung up on me, salad in hand and started to explain, he said he didn't want to hear me, so I asked to get pictures of all their permits, license, etc. When I asked the mgr for his name he said David Jimenez but after seeing a cert of mgmt, the name was David Esparza, given wrong info, when I asked for the owners name, permit to operate, displayed Richard Stratten, but after making a complaint to the local health dept, they were only able to tell me, that is not the same name of owner they show?? Permit #10019930, and looking at other certs, I noticed they were already expired, David the mgr was quick to tell me, I would be able to get hold of Richard, if he is the owner, but when I came home, that website doesn't work, they knew that!! Now my anger has tripled, health dept, complaint #CO0045621, So far I've been given false owner's name, false mgrs name, I wonder if the owner knows what kind of professional mgmt employee's he has, I'm notnone to take something to this extent, but all the unprofessionalism, false info of owner, mgrs, my receipt showing the additional prices we paid for extra's we didn't get but old meat, no wonder they didn't give us the extra meat, it would've been that much more obvious they were giving us old batch of meat. In all my 54 yrs of living, I have NEVER had the experience I was given, they shouldn't get away with this, we are small business owners of a moving company, and we would never treat ANY customer this way, and for 2 burritos, all the Mgmt handled this situation the same way HUNG UP THE PHONE!! Incredible!! Now my next calls will be; city business permit dept., better business Bureau, consumer protection affairs, immigration customs. What could have been the best thing to do for a customer of 9 yrs would've been too take care of us, rather then, serving old meat w/o the extras that were paid for, NOT given out false info. Young kids and dropping blood sugar is a bad mix. So I started looking around for a place to eat. From the outside, Doublz looked like the best choice in the area. I ordered the basic cheeseburger combo and two chicken nugget kids meals - to go. The price: just shy of $20! At that price point, I expect far better quality of food. The kids meals, they got wrong. We received the chicken strips kids meals. Yeah, I know, chicken is chicken, but try to explain that to two kids who prefer nuggets to strips. As for my meal, the bun was far too large for the burger. Images of a long-ago commercial staring Clara Peller flashed through my head. The only thing I could taste when I bit into the burger was the lettuce oversaturated with thousand island dressing. It was like eating a salad in a bun. I went to Doublz on West Ave J and 10th street west to place a rather large order. Total was a little over $45. Now, we trust the cooks to give us the correct order, right...? Well guess again. We ordered vía drive thru since we can't go inside so we get home and the orders were incorrect. Two burritos were incorrect. I went back to tell them about this mistake and they told us we need to bring the food back (which we didn't know) but with the situation we are in right now, is it really smart to take food back to your restaurant like that? We spoke to "Juan" the cook. Not the manager. He wasn't there but "Juan" the cook told us that he will NOT give us the correct order multiple times after explaining the situation. Again, what if someone has COVID-19 at home, how are we suppose to take that back to a restaurant? Anyways, we had to pay AGAIN for our order. Very very bad customer service. I asked for a main office number and he said they don't have one and when I ask to speak to a manager, they said "he was on vacation". So disappointed at this restaurant. We will not be going back. I used to enjoy buying food here, but quality and portion sizes seem to have gone down, while prices keep increasing. I understand that the increased cost of labor can drive prices up, but it should not affect the quality of the product. If you download their pdf menu the prices are completely off and in most cases almost $2.00 more. If you go to their website pricing seems to be accurate. If you can take the time to keep your website up to date, you should be able to keep your downloadable menu up to date as well.
