Buffet pizza
Jeep R.

I remember when this place opened: the buffet was the best! The pizzas were hot, they constantly replaced "cold" ones, and they had a variety! 12:30 on a Tuesday, and I'm pretty sure the pizzas have been out since they opened. They're cold, the cheese is congealed, and for $15 I should have gone to a real pizza place and bought a whole gourmet pizza - it would have been money better spent. Customer service: greeted when walked in the door and the prep cook frequently said they'd be right with me (and they were). Huge plus! Disappointing that the entire half hour I was there no one was bussing tables. Piles of plates were on many tables.

I had wings and a Philly cheesesteak Stromboli. They were very good. My favorite was the wings. The customer service was good. Even though today when I went they didn't have any wings because of shipment not arriving on time. The manager still offered me free pizza. After giving me a refund. The ambiance is very homey and family style establishment. This is a great place to bring your family or just come alone for some pizza a beer and a. Football game. Overall I'd still come back for the wings.

Chocolate Chip Pizza

I'm still on the fence about the chocolate chip pizza. Not because it wasn't good. I just know it wasn't good for me. It was actually really good and surprisingly not too sweet. I'm not sure what they do to cut down on the sugar hit. The regular pizza? I got the meat eater pizza. It was pretty ok. Lots of meat. And it was good cold. I'd go back for the dessert pizza or the next time I'm in town for a fund raiser for my friends' children's school.

The buffalo chicken pizza is hands down my favorite. They also have the cauliflower crust for my Keto friends.

Tony's Italian Deli - Front counter

Tony's Italian Deli

I totally get the hype about this place! If I lived nearby, you can bet I'd work my way through…read moretheir whole menu. There's just something different about this style of sandwich. I've had sandwiches in NYC and Boston, but Tony's were definitely better! The menu is overwhelming because so much sounds good, so we went with two 7 inch sandwiches to split--one hot and one cold. Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. My only regret was not taking a sandwich to-go for later. Open a location closer to Houston, please. :)

Many visits later it pains me to remove a star FOR BEVERAGE ISSUES ONLY (the food is still…read morefantastic). They are a pepsi place (booooooo!), and there's no diet pepsi (pepsi zero is their only zero calorie soda option). If you drink Diet Coke (most popular diet drink in USA), then you don't want diet pepsi, but you'll probably drink it if you have to; however, you're very likely to hate pepsi zero (and Coke Zero, too), so no soda for you here anymore! A full Coke setup that also includes Dr Pepper AND Diet Dr Pepper is ideal. I realize a pepsi fountain is more profitable because of distributor incentives, but pepsi is favored by almost nobody and hated by many...so is it really worth it? Tony's is so great that pepsi just does not fit in. Hopefully they don't deteriorate further and change to Wonderbread for all of their sandwiches. Bottom line: at the very least, please add diet pepsi to your soda machine if that brand remains in place.

Sami’s Gyro House - Falafel over rice

Jan 2025 Update: Added a star based on several follow-up…read moreorders since the first one. Great service, ample food - very tasty meats and rice/veggies/fries, reasonable pricing, and very convenient location. Our favorite place for quick and tasty to-go food.

First of all, I have to say how happy I am to have another halal option nearby. So that's first…read morethings first. But after that, I have to say that I will say that I like how quick the service was. You can see them making your food fresh after ordering and I appreciate that they tried to move quickly because there were people going in and out on the Saturday afternoon I was there. I personally don't like the thick bread and prefer the pita pocket style of rolls, but that's just personal preference. So I'm not even counting that part of the review. Because I expected it to have the thinner bread, I asked them to cut it. I usually like to have my sandwich cut in the middle, so I can eat half of it while driving since I'm almost always on the go. When they cut half of the sandwich, the aluminum foil bits were inside of the sandwich and that was really annoying because I had to pick off almost half of the sandwich from the ends of the sandwich just to make sure I didn't eat any bits of aluminum foil. I would ask them to either cut sandwiches in half separately before wrapping or have better quality aluminum foil (You can see the aluminum foil in the pictures). The sauce and meat was good and the veggies seemed fresh. I'm not knocking this place down, I'll definitely be back to try out again but just something to be aware of. I think the gyro wrap might just be growing on me. All in all, if you like a fluffy, smaller sanplacedwich like they do up north, instead of a longer shawarma wrap, definitely try this place out!
