Located in a strip mall where the locals shop, this is a great spot for dessert. They take a bubble waffle and use it as a cone for your ice cream. You can choose the soft serve flavor, add two toppings, and a flavor syrup. It's a large serving and would be advantageous to have a friend to share this dessert.
My son recommended this place so I gave it a try. Yummmy for my tummy! The cone is a battered goodness that pulls off into these bite-sized round pieces. This treat is a light and crispy outside with a soft serve ice cream. You choose your soft serve flavor, two toppings (more toppings extra charge) and your syrup. If you're looking for an ice cream treat, try it. Your sweet tooth will thank you for it. Will I return? Most certainly.
My first time trying out Double Three, and it was pretty good. The customer service was great. You check mark your choices for soft serve flavor, toppings (2 items & some toppings cost extra), syrup flavor, and bubble waffle flavor. My picks were vanilla soft serve with a reese's cup, and oreo dust as my toppings. I didn't want any syrup flavor and my bubble waffle was charcoal. The charcoal bubble waffle is a smokey vanilla flavor. Just a heads up, the cost is over $11 dollars. I think it's worth it because the size, amount of ice cream, and added bubble waffle. The soft serve was pretty good. It reminded me of Mcdonalds soft serve. The customer service made the experience good. She was kind, and patient when we took several minutes to decide which toppings we wanted. They give you a buzzer, so you can wait outside and explore the area while you wait. Would I come back? Yes, I would.
My husband and I loved this place. The girl working was so nice and very helpful considering it was our first time. There's a sheet of paper at the front that walks you through the flavor choices & toppings you. There are some flavors/ toppings that cost extra (green tea, toasted marshmallow, fresh strawberries). We both got the specialty flavors: strawberries and cream and then Kona. The strawberries and cream was okay, it wasn't the best strawberry ice cream but I loved my green tea bubble waffle, the strawberries were extremely fresh and the toasted marshmallow was everything and more that I wanted. My husbands Kona ice cream was PHENOMENAL though. It tasted like a fresh cup of coffee. He added caramel sauce and it was the perfect addition. A little pricey for an ice cream snack but it's fun and not something you get everyday. If you can, stop by here. You won't regret it.
I just have to say, I really appreciated the owner explaining the ordering process. Because I totally forgot to check their yelp before hand on how to order. My daughters and I finally got to try Double Three, and I'm disappointed in myself for not coming sooner! Lol, so we all grabbed our form to fill out. You pick your waffle, soft serve flavor, toppings and sauce. Honestly a steal for the amount you're receiving. Placed our order, and waited outside with the buzzer to let us know when to come and grab it. I was amazed he made our 3 orders all by himself! And when we grabbed our order it wasn't melting at all. Service and food definitely gets 5*! Can't wait to come back.
Double Three has been one of my go-to's since college. The owner, Yugo is super nice and always makes my experience here so great. They have order forms at the front that you fill out before paying: - choose your bubble waffle flavor (original, chocolate, matcha (+$) or charcoal +$) - choose your soft serve flavor - choose toppings - choose finishing syrup It's a HUGE bubble waffle ice cream for only $10.50 - i think it would take 2-3 of us to finish this. The bubble waffle has a nice fluffy yet crispy texture, and holds up pretty well to the ice cream. I also like that they use soft serve instead of ice cream because it's easier to eat a softer version than having to bite through ice cream. Overall it's a great place, not only for the aesthetic but also for the overall flavor and value.
I've been two Double Three at City Square Shopping Center (in Kalihi) twice and I've been extremely happy on both occasions. Double three is located in a small storefront, has no indoor seating, and is a few shops north of Kam Bakery. It should be noted that signage (and common sense) indicate that after you're done placing your order and paying, you should wait outside so others have space to order and pay as well. Now on to the good stuff, the dessert... let's get the obvious out of the way and roughly $14 for a dessert is not inexpensive. But is it worth it? In my opinion, yes it's worthwhile for a "special occasion" or "once in a while" treat. You won't find me here everyday or even every week. The bubble waffle cone comes out warm and very satisfying, the soft serve flavors are great with the texture being just right. The toppings are fresh and delicious, but not overwhelming in terms of quantity. There is a large variety of choices for toppings and cones, but soft serve choices are limited. Also be aware of the fact that you may be in for a wait as each cone takes time, but it shows in the presentation. As previously stated, this is a great special occasion or once in a while treat for both kids and adults. Check it out and I doubt you'll be disappointed.
This ice cream dessert snack was everything I hoped it would be and absolutely perfect after school. The flavors of the day were Kona coffee and birthday cake which are SHOCKINGLY exactly me and my partners favorite flavors!! So we got the flavors of the day. There's so many topping options you can create any number of combinations. You can also just get ice cream if you don't want the bubble waffle but let's be real, you came for the bubble waffle so you better get the bubble waffle!! My little concerns were that the one staff member working there kind of ignored us for a minute. She was in the back of the store doing something. We stood at the front for a minute with our written orders ready before she came to talk to us. And even then she wasn't very friendly... And then my other very minor complaint was that there was no indoor seating. It's hot out here for the summer and eating ice cream outside before it melts all over you is near impossible. Still, I would absolutely come back, I'd just adjust my expectations!! Make a plan for eating in the car or eating QUICKLY. We enjoyed our desserts very much and even managed to run the rest of our desserts home and put them in the freezer for later!
Yummy bubble waffles and soft serve! I don't care for getting the set because soggy waffles are kinda gross to me haha so I buy it separately. It's a bit more pricey to get it separately but it is what it is. What I don't care for is that my ice cream cup isn't always consistently filled. Sometimes they fill the cup, and other times it's lacking (like the pic I attached). I also saw that they're soon going to stop doing soft serve and offer scoop ice cream instead. Interested to see how that'll be like. Is it the same ice cream, just frozen and scooped? I hope so! At times, it'll take 20-30 min for my order since all the times I went there was only one worker. Not too bad, but I wouldn't mind if I get what I pay for (fill the cup with ice cream or at least be consistent about it).
Came here after having dinner across the street at Chengdu Taste with a friend and I am SO glad we did. We were lucky that they weren't busy at all so we were able to order right away. I got the matcha bubble waffle with chocolate ice cream and oreo crumbles. It was FIRE. The bubble waffle was soft and chewy, made fresh right then. The matcha flavor was subtle but there. The ice cream is more soft serve style so it was really creamy and nice to eat. The whole thing was really enjoyable. Really cool how many flavor combinations they offer! I will definitely be back to try some new things.
Yummy! These bubble waffle soft serves are huge! Could easily feed two people with one icecream. It was $10 each. The waffle is so delicious and freshly made. It's a cute little small shop and you order on a piece of paper when you walk in. You have to wait outside and wait for your over to ring when it's ready. The icecream was very filling and definitely Instagram worthy. Loved the toppings but the bubble waffles is the best part. Don't tilt your icecream or the inside will fall out!
You honestly can't go wrong with ice cream, their dessert is so cute & delicious it looks like a work of art which is probably why it does take a while to make it especially since usually only one person is making everything. It's one group allowed inside at a time the place is very small, you fill out your own custom order in the front so you get exactly what you want theirs a lot of options to choose from. Some of them cost more than the others so keep in mind it can get pricey depending on what you order. The ice cream itself is not too sweet & the bubble waffle taste very light you can just pop it off and eat it. Usually by the end it's more waffle than ice cream but it's still really good. Theirs a lot of parking in the location so you don't have to worry about being on the street, Overall great place if you want to treat yourself to something sweet.
This place was good for soft serve and bubble waffles. Starting price is $11.25 which is on the higher-end, but nevertheless it was tasty. Good overall experience, but not the best value. Worth a try if you've never been there.

If you want a fun looking treat, it's good for that, but it wasn't that special taste wise. It looks big but there was hardly any Icecream, and it's actually more soft serve. You could share it with one other person for a small treat though. The waffles are fun but not very sweet. Fun for the unique treat but probably would never repeat. The employee working was nice though! You fill out a form with your order and then they give you a pager to let you know when your dessert is ready. No seating inside, or benches outside, so you just stand outside to eat. read more

My fiancé and I love going to Double Three for dessert! It's located in the Dillingham Complex, where Chuck E' Cheese's is located, but on the other side (a few doors down from Ubae). They share a space with a smoke shop. When you open the door, it'll be another door immediately on your left. To order, you'll be asked to complete an order sheet that you can indicate what type of bubble cone (can be original, chocolate, and vanilla I believe), ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, special of the day), toppings, and syrup. Once you complete the order form, you provide it to the cashier and pay for the order. After paying for the order, you're given a pager and will be asked to wait outside (inside is way too small for multiple people to wait for their order). Your pager will vibrate/beep when your order is ready to get picked up. Overall, the process was simple, quick, and well worth it! We ordered the bubble waffle, salted caramel ice cream, Oreo and fruity pebble toppings, with condensed milk. The ice cream was super soft and the toppings were dusted with purpose. We paid $20.97 for two ice creams with bubble cones. Special tip, they usually have a special ice cream flavor everyday! Updating my review... the waffle is still good but they no longer serve ice cream. The waffle is now just filled with soft serve. It's still tasty, but I just can't give an ice cream shop five stars if they aren't filling the cones with the legit stuff. read more

My coworker highly recommended this homemade bubble puff place. One night I was craving sweets so bubble puff came to mind. I came with my friend. Definitely gets busy in a small shop like this in Kalihi. When it gets busy, the desserts takes a bit longer to be served. Saw the special for the day (butter pecan ice cream). I had matcha bubble puff with butter pecan ice cream with toppings (chocolate syrup and kit kat) $8. Ice cream wasn't too sweet and I enjoyed the flavor. The ice cream was creamy and it didn't melt fast...surprisingly. The texture of the puff was crispy on the outside and really soft on the inside. Matcha flavor was a bit strong that took over the sweetness of the puff. Hoping to try the regular puff flavor next time! read more

Hidden gem! Soft waffle cone that is made of rising dough bubbles is a unique treat that can easily be shared. My kiddos are 5 and 7 and couldn't finish one. The soft serve choices are amazing. I highly recommend Ube, a very local flavor (sweet potato) try it, it makes no sense why it is so bomb. read more

Double Three is located in Kalihi City Square Shopping Center. Known for their bubble waffle and ice cream.. this place is like dessert on steroids! The place itself is small so beware it can get kind of claustrophobic when it's busy. Also another warning, be prepared to wait. I think it took about a good 20 min for our dessert and we came when it wasn't too busy yet. My bf and I decided to share a chocolate bubble waffle with their special flavor that day, ube. You get to choose 2 toppings and a syrup. Of course you can add more but it just costs extra. We got ours with fruity pebbles, Oreos, condensed milk and whipped cream. If you are on a diet, this isn't a place you should go near lol. Although the wait was a tad long, our bubble waffle totally made up for it. Freshly made and had the perfect taste and texture. Combined with the ice cream.. you won't be sorry you came here! It can be a bit pricey for dessert (about $9 for ours) but I didn't mind. It's a generous size and good for sharing although I'm pretty sure my bf could have ate a whole one on his own lol. Can't wait to try the other bubble waffles! read more
What a wonderful treat we had tonight. I've been wanting to go to Double Three for a while now but the hours are kind of inconvenient and the place isn't very close to my house. We were at Chuck E Cheese for a birthday party and we just decided to come on over and check it out. I told my husband about it and looked at the prices. I told him it seemed kind of expensive but he said let's just get it. I wasn't gonna argue, we were here in the same complex already. It really is a small place and we probably would've missed it if the door wasn't propped open and an arrow pointing to the entrance. There is about five tables in there. Tables were kind of sticky and dirty. Here's the process. You fill out a paper for your preferences for your bubble waffle. It's humongous so be prepared. It's like ice cream wrapped in a bubble waffle cone. So on the paper you get to choose you flavor of waffle cone (original, matcha, chocolate), and then you can choose what flavor of ice cream you want in there, then you can choose two toppings, and then you choose your syrup. I shared one with my daughter and my husband had his own. I suggested before we even ordered that we share one but he insisted on having his own. It was a lot, we could've shared. For his order he got chocolate bubble waffle, strawberry ice cream, kit kat and rainbow sprinkles, and condensed milk drizzled on top. For ours we got original bubble waffle, vanilla ice cream, fruity pebbles and rainbow sprinkles, and condensed milk on top. I tried both. They were both delicious. The crispness of the bubble waffle added to the taste of the ice cream. It was a lot though and we didn't even finish ours. It's about $8 for one, which is kind of expensive but it was good and I would definitely be back. I wish there was one of these closer to my house. read more

There are so many awesome dessert options in Kalihi's City Square Shopping Center. Maybe one too many with the addition of Double Three? Absolutely not. They serve you your own customized ice cream wrapped in a bubble waffle cone. The bubble waffle originated from Hong Kong and is used for the ice cream cone. It's basically an egg waffle with bubbles for the pattern instead of the traditional squares. Your dessert is made to your liking as you get to pick the flavor of your waffle (original, chocolate, or matcha), ice cream flavor, and toppings by filling out an order form. The options for toppings are great and include not-so-typical toppings like macarons, Twix, Ferrero Rocher, etc. Your ice cream comes with two toppings but with so many to choose from, you can add on extra toppings for 25 cents each. The wait for ice cream was a little lengthy-but worth it. Your wait is for the fresh bubble waffle being made for you, and for them to place your ice cream and toppings in the waffle cone, all while making it picture perfect and ready for the obligatory Instagram post. Our ice cream was yummy and so was the bubble waffle. Totally worth the wait. Customer service was great. The employees were friendly and welcoming. Price is fair for what you're getting. Consistently giving the people what they want, and what the people want is a sweet ice cream treat that has various toppings and dynamic contrast in textures. It also needs to be instagram worthy, and of course taste like a heavly frozen treat. When you go there, there's a menu for you to select your base waffle flavor and ice cream. Then bring on the toppings. Go to are fresh strawberries with nutella drizzle. The charcoal seems to be the best base. The vanilla ice cream is really delicious, as you would expect from Dave's. The waffle comes out warm and fluffy, and just barely absorbs the rich, cold ice cream. The toppings just accentuates the delicious flavors When you take that first bite, it just all comes together. When I saw this place on Instagram I knew I HAD to go check it out!! The photos everyone was posting looked sooo pretty and yummy! But I must say, when I got there.. I had no idea what to expect! The store is small so they can only accommodate one party at a time due to covid restrictions. When we went, there was only one worker. You start. You start by filling out your order to customize on a small sheet. It was surprising to see that there isn't already a recommended "set" or arrangement that you could order without thinking about it. There are so many top pics and flavors to choose from, it took us like a good 3-5 mins to figure out what we wanted. When we turned it in, paid for our order and then we were estimated a wait time for about 15 minutes. And boy, she wasn't kidding. 15 minutes was kind of a long time to wait for a dessert. Something I'm not used to considering desserts are usually done in jiffy. There's not a lot going on at the shopping center filled with other food places, so 15 minutes was a good while. However, when the food was done.. oh my god it was so worth the wait! No one mentions that the waffle was a MOCHI WAFFLE!!! Soooooo yummy and filling! Next time I probably would have shared mine instead If getting my own. But that paired with ice cream and crunchy toppings? It was texture and flavor galore. We complained about the wait time considering it took so long but WOW, was it worth it. Each one cost about $10, with additives you can put on for an extra charge. Kind of pricey, and the wait time is a downer, but once it comes out, you forget any of that was ever an issue. Would definitely come back again! read more

Small shop near Dillingham off of Kohou St and Kalani St. Double 3 shares a double-door entrance with a cigar shop, then you enter another door on your left side to get into Double3. I didn't see any menu on the wall except for an order sheet on a table in front of the registers. I guess you can just go on yelp or their IG to get some ideas of what creation you want to order. Ordering is pretty easy- check off the flavor of your bubble waffle, then ice cream, then 2 toppings, and a syrup. Some toppings have an extra charge and anything more than 2 toppings are an extra charge. They also have special flavors like ube and oreo ice cream w/c I'm guessing changes every day. You can also order just the ice cream or just the bubble waffle. The green tea bubble waffle has a subtle green tea flavor. We loved the vanilla and chocolate waffle the best. read more

Came here after a nice drive around the island date. So naturally we were looking for something sweet since we ended on this side before we head home. We've been wanting to try this for awhile. And we weren't too disappointed with the results. Surprisingly this little shop was smaller than expected but the demand for these bubble waffles ice cream were a hit. It is of course a bit pricier than your average cone. You get to customize the look from the waffle to the ice cream flavor and the toppings. So of course each one will look unique in the end and Instagram worthy. Only thing we wished was more toppings. read more
I am giving this just 3 stars as to get one of these you could be waiting a looooong time. We went on a Monday night and luckily there was only 2 people in line in front of us. They had 1 worker that night, not sure if that is the norm, and each one she made she said could be 6 minutes. So 2 people in front of us, then our two.. so like a 25-30 minute wait. Which, yes turned into a 22 minute wait. I felt horrible for the three families with small children that came after us. I am sure they had to wait close to 1 hour. However... on to the actual food. Yes, the waffle type cone this is was pretty dang tasty! You pick your ice cream flavor and topping which I felt they had a good quantity of choices to choose from. Would I go back? I would have to say no just because of the possible wait time. Would I eat one again if someone brought one to me? Yes! We came one night about an hour before closing and there was one other couple waiting, it took about 10-15 minutes to get a waffle (or 3) built but we weren't in a rush. You fill out the little slip marking your choices, pay, then wait outside with a buzzer to let you know when it's ready. Easy and simple. Double Three shares a door space with Huff n Puff in the Dillingham Square by Kam Bakery, Young's, and Sugoi. It is a tiny space (5-6 people seating) and you order from the menu on a small checklist order sheet. We ordered two bubble waffle ice creams. The total came out to just over $15 which was pricey for two desserts IMO, although, the size of the waffle and ice cream scoop was big. I think two people can definitely share one. This bubble waffle dessert definitely tasted amazing! The only thing you need to be prepared for is their disclaimer (which is posted at their shop). There is a wait time for the dessert as it takes time for the bubble waffle to be made. We went in at a good time --not so busy, so our wait time was only about 10-12 minutes. I would just hate to be there at "peak time" when your dessert could take up to 30 minutes to be made and served... Parking is a shared lot with other establishments. read more
I finally made it to Double Three during this past Spring break with my son. I kept seeing the pics pop up on my Yelp's activity page and also heard about this biz via friends. I always wanted to try here but the hours didn't work out for me as they close early. I heard the wait is super long, my friends mentioned they waited over an hour. I was lucky when I visited, got our bubble waffle within 15 minutes, we got to the shop about 3 pm, on a weekday. Don't make the same mistake as I did, I read Kam bakery in the reviews and, I don't know why I was losing it that day, I drove to Kam Shopping Center. Located @ City Square shopping center, in Dillingham, right next to UBAE & Kam bakery. That's a Wow, all of my fave sweets here at this shopping center. Keep in mind that Double Three is a very tiny shop, located on your left once you enter, a smoke/vape shop is next door. Be careful, once you exit, watch your step/step up. I see a few customer tripped and also happened to me. The shop can get hot, I remember while waiting and waiting for my son to finish his bubble waffle, I was wondering what happened to the AC. The bubble waffle sure is sweet, bring water or purchase water. It would be nice that they would provide complimentary water dispenser available for customers. I already left Double Three and it was already too late to purchase water, since my son was thirsty with all that sweets. There is a sign on the counter informing customers to: "Please do no take photo or video that includes our staff., Thank you for respecting our privacy" I took a pic. After noticing the sign. Once you enter, its best to get your order form, my opinion, I think they should leave some forms out by the door, so you can be be in line while filling out form and be ready with your order. For first timers to Double Three, pick up order form at counter and you can create your own Bubble Waffle, pick your waffle, your ice cream, 2 toppings, & choice of syrup for 7.80 plus tax. kinda pricey, can be an expensive treat if you are bringing the entire family for dessert, I will be back with my family so I'll expect to spend more next time. I just sampled my son's bubble waffle since I wanted to try the soft serve next door. My son got to create his dessert and of course we had to take our pics before we were ready to try it. The bubble waffle is so very pretty. I loved the bubble waffle, we got the original for waffle, strawberry cheesecake ice cream which was the special of the day, with Oreo, marshmallow toppings & caramel syrup. Bubble waffle was filled with sweet for sure but I love the waffle, I can just eat that part. I asked the owner if he will change store hour to stay open later, possibly when there is more staff. Located right next to Kamehameha Bakery in Kalihi shopping center. Small hole in the wall just a few tables, colorful interior. Not just ice cream. Got there no wait, the 5 guys in front of us was just leaving. It's a fillout the form and create your own type of place. They do have specials and a ice cream flavor of the week tho. I'm not a big fan of toppings and all the extras with my ice cream but this place was worth the stop. Loved the crispy parts of the bubble waffle but the bottom was soggy so I didn't eat it. Definitely shareable. They use the Clover app as their customer rewards program. If you dont have it already the owner will walk you thru downloading it it's real easy. If you go often I highly recommend it. read more

Sweet craving? This is the spot to go. It's located in Kalihi at the city square shopping center. Double three is across of youngs fish market, few doors down from ubae. I remember when this place opened up and seeing everyone post pictures. I always thought that it would be too sweet for me but today we ate at the thai restaurant across the street & ate some spicy food and wanted ice cream after. To be honest, I expected it to be extremely sweet and that the waffle would taste like a eggo lol but it was soooooooo good! The waffle was delicious by itself. I could and would eat it on it's own... todays special ice cream flavor is butter pecan. So yummy! First thing you do when walking in is fill up the order form. I ordered the original waffle with butter pecan ice cream, condensed milk, macaroon, oreos and a toasted marshmallow. Sweet craving satisfied! read more

Dessert time in Honolulu... I saw some friends check in at this Hot and New shop at City Square. Their photos and reviews stuck in my mind, and I was determined to go here. After lunch, my friends asked were dessert was... Right away, I answered, "Double Three". Of course, they hadn't heard of it, so I looked it up again and figured that it was almost next to Kamehameha Bakery and across from Young's Fish Market. The parking is free and Kalihi is on our way home, so, we went... Wow... There was a line to get in - even though it's Soft Opening at the moment (and 10 percent off). The Grand Opening is Saturday, January 26, 2019. The shop is small and there are only two workers making the individualized desserts. We each got an order form and selected our toppings, cone flavor, and ice cream. I think it's worth the wait. My chocolate ice cream had a quality taste and texture. My pastel colored marshmallows and Pocky sticks added a cute touch. The crunchy and bright candy sprinkles were a perfect complimentary topping! I watched the efficient workers carefully add powdered sugar on other creations... very nice attention to detail! As for the bubble waffle cone...this deserves special mention. The chef developed his own batter which has an almost mochi-like chew in the middle of a slightly crisp outer shell. It was heavenly! My friends and I came here after dinner for dessert on a Sunday evening. For every order, you fill out a little form to pick which options you would like. I ordered the cookie dough ice cream with the original egg puff cone, Oreo toppings, and reese's. Overall, I thought my ice cream creation as just all right. Besides presentation, there wasn't anything too special about what I ordered. There weren't many choices as to type of ice cream you can pick from either. After lunch we decided to venture out to Kalihi to try the Hong Kong style bubble waffle ice cream cone! Double Three has only been open for a couple of weeks now and the word is out. The line was long at 3:30pm. Was the wait worth it? Double Yes! First step, patrons should complete an order form for each cone desired. Choose your bubble waffle, ice cream, two toppings, and syrup type. Waffles are made to order, so cooking time is approximately 5 minutes each. With only two waffle makers in action, be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes if the line is out the door. Luckily, we scored one of the four tables during our wait! As a matcha lover, I decided on a matcha waffle with vanilla ice cream, almond chips, rainbow sprinkles, and whipped cream. The waffle had a light crisp on the outside and was a bit chewy on the inside of each bubble. I liked it and it was kinda fun to eat one bubble at a time! It wasn't too sweet, and the matcha flavor wasn't overpowering. The cold vanilla ice cream added a nice dimension to the warm waffle. Eat it up quick before it turns cold! If you know me, you know I loooove breakfast & I love sweets! This place brings these 2 things together so harmoniously! The amount of time and effort the owners take on each bubble waffle is admirable. They don't rush no matter how long the line is and are consistent with their product every time. Trust me, it is WORTH. THE. WAIT! This place is located a few doors down from Kamehameha Bakery and across from Thang's. It's a super small shop next to the vape store, Puff N Stuff, but they do have a sign and a little picture of a bubble waffle and an arrow to show you the way! Such a cute touch! What I really love about this place is it's completely customizable! Each customer gets a little form to fill out saying what flavor waffle, ice cream, and toppings they would like. There are 3 flavors of waffle to select from: matcha, original, and chocolate. You can also choose from 3-4 ice cream flavors: strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and a special flavor of the day. On the day I went, they had my favorite ice cream flavor: Cookies 'N Cream! Toppings include Pocky sticks, Fruitty Pebbles, syrups, candy bars, crushed Oreos, chocolate chips, almonds, marshmallows, sprinkles and more! I must say, this dessert is HUGE so my friend and I shared one. We decided on a matcha waffle, Cookies 'N Cream ice cream, Pocky sticks, Fruitty Pebbles, and whipped cream. I must say, the waffle was delicious! It was crispy on the outside and a chewy, almost mochi consistency on the inside. I'm not a huge fan of matcha but it was super good! The matcha flavor isn't too strong and it really balanced out the sweet ice cream and toppings. The ice cream was a very generous, yet perfectly shaped scoop. I LOVED their wall with rainbows! Makes for the perfect backdrop of pictures. It's super cute! I was pretty excited to see that the bubble waffle is making a come back. I haven't had one in years! They've actually gotten super creative with it nowadays with ice cream and toppings which is neat. They're actually located in between pancakes and waffles and kam bakery. It's a small shop that's a shared space with puff and smoke. You can't miss it - well you might miss the opening hours cause they do close early and when I went they didn't open on time. One time they weren't even open at all - turns to find out that it was because they didn't have ice cream, but they ended up opening later in the afternoon and I was not willing to make a trek back to this location after I left. Each bubble puff is roughly about 9$ starting assuming you don't go all crazy with additional items. It only comes with one scoop of ice cream - I think they use blue bunny. For Valentine's Day they had a special for 12$ which wasn't really worth it, but I did it for the gram. It maybe confusing at first but their menu isn't very big. You might just be standing around wondering what to do, but first before paying you need to fill out an order form. They even had a Instagram promotion but it's over. I probably would not have gone back if they didn't do the additional discount. I've actually found other places that also offer this now and closer to home. There's parking at the shopping center but be careful there's a parking natzee. I really shouldn't have parked next to someone that was already crooked which made me crooked too - so I ended up getting a parking ticket for $20 from pro park *rolls eyes* read more

I had my heart set on some double scooped chocolate ice cream but when I got there, the menu had changed the Kalihi Double Three is only serving soft served ice cream - disappointing Definitely NOT worth $11.99 read more
Heard the saying "you can't rush perfection!" Well this is the place that goes by that. They may take kinda long but it's worth the wait. The hype is real! To order first you must fill out the paper work. I ordered the regular waffle cone, ice cream of the month (ube), with sprinkles and Oreos with a splash of caramel. The waffle was perfect! For some reason the bubble part of the waffle tasted to me like mochi. It was soft. The ice cream was also good too! Sprinkles and Oreos and caramel is like the same as every place you would go too. I think I found my go to place for breakfast and dessert in one. Price is not bad. Service was very friendly. I will definitely be back to taste the chocolate waffle and matcha waffle. #40 for 2020 First thing I literally felt was the warmth of the bubble ube waffle cone through the plastic cup. Heat melted the outer layer of my ube ice cream. Not to worry because the remaining ice cream was cold and maintained its structure. Loved the consistency of ube ice cream, drizzled with condensed milk. This is by far the best, sturdiest homemade cone I've had. Loved the crunchiness, chewiness of bubble which lasted until the last four bubbles became soft and were taken over by ice cream. One scoop is gigantic! Two scoops is sufficient to feed two people. Biscoff cookies and macaron added the perfect finishing touches and taste to my treat. I loved that I could leisurely enjoy without feeling rushed or worried about melted ice cream falling on the sides. Perfect for snack, after lunch or early dinner. Would love to try charcoal and matcha homemade cone with special flavor ice cream for the day. read more
