We were not disappointed! The location was ideal for the East park entrance and a quick shopping trip to Cody. Our hostess, Diana, could not be more accommodating. Although the cabins are designed with comfort in mind, we were able to enjoy the large deck each evening. Not having great WiFi service was not an issue - our teenage grandchildren found plenty of entertainment, most importantly learning how to play pool! In order to keep our group engaged, we held a pictorial scavenger hunt, 60-piece Lego contest for the grands and an all-inclusive art project where each grandchild drew something from the park on one canvas. Diana was gracious enough to allow us access to the dining hall so we could all be together during these activities and 'awards' ceremony! Finally, we all agreed that this holiday was at the top of our list of all our family gatherings. Should we find ourselves anywhere near this area in the future, there is no question we would once again stay at the Creekside Lodge!!!

Check-in was a bit cumbersome, but the gentleman at the front desk was very polite and friendly, which helped smooth things over. On the plus side, housekeeping did a nice job keeping things tidy, changing out towels and emptying the garbage daily. Overall, it was an okay stay with a few nice touches, but there's room for improvement.

It is located in the Wapiti Valley west of Cody, Wyoming before you get to Yellowstone which was our next stop. We made our reservations through a booking agency, so it was all very easy. The price was very reasonable and it was located on our route, so it was very convenient. Margo was the best hostess and her very talented husband were a pleasure to visit with. Our reservations were for one room with a Queen size bed which was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. But, since it was mid week, and we were the only ones at the B&B, we were treated to use of the whole house. There were 3 different balconies from which we could watch the wildlife. The upstairs suite is set up to accommodate large groups. I can't remember exactly how many it sleeps, but I bet at least 12 and that's not crowding anyone. Margo's Mountain Suite is very tastefully decorated and yet comfortable and homey. It wasn't over crowded with THEME decor, but rather very tastefully done with soothing colors. They have a dog, but other than when we first arrived, you would not have known he was there. The mountain views were fabulous and the wildlife did arrive at sundown as promised. The little touches were what make this a great place to stay, everything from the great coffee, the fabulous soaps to the binoculars on the balcony. This was an awesome place to stay. The breakfast was awesome (especially the coffee) and our entire visit was a delight. We felt as if we were leaving old friends when we finally did leave. While the other B&B's we stayed in were great places too, they didn't compare to Margo's. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

The staff at Wapiti Lodge really thought of everything when it came to their guests. They had ice cube trays in the freezer, games in the cabin, a little breakfast basket in the fridge with snacks, bagels, cream cheese and orange juice. Plus they had a travel cooler that you could use during your stay. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Wapiti and we highly recommend you stay here!

My wife and I brought our three teenagers and stayed in the room with a comfortable queen bed, bunk beds and a comfy pull out sofa. Room was very clean, had its own tv, large bathroom with a double sink and a large shower. Room has its own out door access n parking that was very convenient. The cabin is basically a hunters paradise with some of the wildest taxidermy (including the 4 bears) I've laid eyes on. Our hosts George took great care of us, making a unique breakfast all 3 days we were there. Coffee was on every morning before I woke which was not quite early enough to see the 530am sun rise but not much after. The breakfast's were served with care and accompanied with amazing views each morning. We ended up enjoying George's company as much as we enjoyed our vacation of Wyoming. We saw as much wild life around the bnb as in the nearby parks, including dear,antelope, and elk. Definitely planning a return trip!
