Our family of six signed up for the half day trip down the Shoshone River. Our guide, Lily, was so sweet and very knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience. The only reason for the four stars is because it was very cold. The air temp was about 50 degrees, and the water was cold. That is not within control of the company, obviously, but I wonder if maybe they could have some different things in place for those cold weather trips...hot cocoa/coffee back at the starting location...maybe only offer short trips? They know better than we do, so we signed up for this three hour trip; but after being soaked for an hour, we were ready for it to be over and we still had two more hours to go. But Lily made the trip very nice and was chatting us up which made the time go faster. I'm positive that if we had waited until later in the season when things are warmer, this would have been a five star trip! read more

The 11 mile rafting trip took about 2 hours and was a lot of fun. My recommendation is to go early in the day before it gets too hot. I would take this trip again. read more

We went on a rafting trip with the Yellowstone Songwriters Festival, and had the best time. They added a special stop for us with coffee and some guitars for the songwriters to sing a few. When I booked a 3 hr ride down the river I had no clue what to expect but glad I did. I made easy todo reservations online and showed up a bit early to my time to get an idea for what i signed up for. The whole team was laid back and great to talk to and meet our river guide Jenifer (she was absolutely amazing) before we loaded on the bus to head to the river. After we got a quick safety brief we floated down the river to ride some fun rapids. My party of 2 was paired with a party of 4, who we got to know well, floated down and hit some great rapids and got soaking wet. Our guide gave us some interesting facts about the river, town and landscape as we passed through. With all of us on the raft working together to paddle through the river this was a great experience for first time rafters like myself. The guides are amazing, the white water river was also fun. However, as experienced kayakers we would have preferred more rapids and a longer journey. The time allotted when we purchased our tickets was 3 hours however we were only on the water for one hour, which included a 10 minute swim stop. Would recommend for less experienced kayakers or families with young children. However if looking for too thrills this is sadly not the trip for you. read more

This was my first time river rafting and I was a little nervous. However, everyone was nice and our raft captain Andrew was excellent.

We had a great time on our rafting trip! The Shoshone river is beautiful and Zach was a great guide. We initially chose the shortest trip but had the opportunity to stay on for a longer one and we were so glad we did, ours would have felt too short. If you're looking at the shorter trips we'd definitely recommend going with the 3-4 hour trip. read more

If you are looking for a great way to spend a few hours, this is it! This company really knows what they are doing and they have safety and fun at the top of their list. Our raft guide was super nice and very knowledgeable (I just wish I could remember his name, he said he also worked for a hospital in Powell, if that helps). The trip down the river was very calm, not too many rapids which was a small disappointment, although that is no fault of the company. We got to see a bunch of wildlife and beautiful scenery along the Shoshone river! If I'm ever near this town again I'll definitely come back! read more

One of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Justin #rivergod, was awesome! He made sure we got an experience of a lifetime, picking courses that we could all handle. My kids (17, 14, & 11) and I, along w/ my mom (71), enjoyed the fast high water rapids (high level 2) while still feeling SAFE!! The staff are friendly and accommodating. Trying to accommodate a party of 30 is always tasking, however, they were so accommodating for our family. They kept us together and for a majority of us this was our first time. Went on the trip that takes approximately 2hrs. The weather was cool but the company provided rain gear to help keep us as dry. Our group had 5 kids (5-12yrs) and only 3 adults and had no issues. I couldn't believe how awesome it was. The people who work here are nice they tell you about everything as you are going down the river. The ride itself was very much the best part and I didn't fall off the raft they guide just let us get in to swim with the current a bit. We had a great river trip! We did the 2 hour trip and wish we could have gone longer. We had 3 adults and 3 kids (12 yr olds). Everyone had a great time and Ben was a fun guide! The rapids were perfect for the kid's first time trip (just enough fun, but not scary). The owners and all the employees were super friendly. Make sure and look at all the picture notebooks of animals (wolves, bears, etc.) in the office. One of the owners help track the wolves in Yellowstone and was a wealth of information about where we might be able to spot the different animals in the park.
