The wranglers are unprofessional, know-nothing, high school kids and have no idea what they're doing, either. No greeting when we got there, no nothing. Bob also INSISTED that we tip after the trail ride (we didn't) and I couldn't believe the audacity this old fart has. The trail is steep and dangerous - NOT FOR BEGINNERS - and the horses have no shelter from the hot sun and are tied up all day. Not even watered between trail rides (got there right as prior group came back and the horses were either used right away again or tied back up). YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Our guide, Jorge, was calm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. He even accommodating a child rider with him. Along the way, he pointed out animals, gave riding tips, took great pictures, and tailored the route to match our group's abilities while keeping it exciting. The ride lasted about two hours and took us through beautiful terrain. The equipment was in good condition, and every rider had a great time. I would definitely recommend this adventure and would happily do it again!"

While we were there our guide showed up and introduced himself. He asked if we had any previous experience and talked about various locations, their conditions and where he thought we could go fish. Since our casting is far from professional and current conditions of the rivers were high and fast, we opted for a lake. We came with rods, waders, boots, snacks, but I left my reels in my truck at the store! Thank god , Brad (our guide had back ups! He got us all set up and we set out, talking about the conditions and what to expect. ( like rattlesnakes) what your step! It was a very educational experience, and we all caught some nice trout! Our guide Dean was an amazing tour guide! He was so passionate and you could tell he really loved yellowstone. He had 30 years of experience and so much knowledge of the park. I would recommend this company in comparison to the other snowmobile companies in the park. Our tour felt more personal and better organized than the other groups I saw. The ride from the Cody side of things into Yellowstone is mind blowing. I'm familiar with the park, but it feels like an alien landscape and so disorienting in the winter. Park staff fire up the warming huts along the way so there are opportunities to warm up and rest a bit before the journey continues. We always see times of bison, coyote, birds, and evidence of otter this trip. The guides are friendly and make sure everyone is comfortable and confident on their sleds. It's such a special way to visit Yellowstone--bucket list this adventure.

He knows what flies to use when and in what places. He doesn't hold back and has a great time giving out-of-towners tips on how to be successful in this beautiful place. Mike also has great pointers on how to stay safe. While we were in his shop he was telling an out-of-town couple about how to be safe when in bear country. He knows Cody well too. He told them where to find good bear mace and us where to get fishing licenses. My father-in-law (who owns a cabin in Wapiti, about 30 miles outside of Cody) told my husband that the other fly shop in town doesn't do as good of a job helping people to be successful. He says he loves The Humble Fly and after our first trip there meeting Mike and his super friendly borgi (Border Collie/Corgi mix) named Ike, we both do too!
