Having stayed at Creekside Lodge in September 2020, my husband and I felt this would be an ideal location to host our children and their families (total of16) for a family reunion over Memorial Day weekend. We were not disappointed! The location was ideal for the East park entrance and a quick shopping trip to Cody. Our hostess, Diana, could not be more accommodating. Although the cabins are designed with comfort in mind, we were able to enjoy the large deck each evening. Not having great WiFi service was not an issue - our teenage grandchildren found plenty of entertainment, most importantly learning how to play pool! In order to keep our group engaged, we held a pictorial scavenger hunt, 60-piece Lego contest for the grands and an all-inclusive art project where each grandchild drew something from the park on one canvas. Diana was gracious enough to allow us access to the dining hall so we could all be together during these activities and 'awards' ceremony! Finally, we all agreed that this holiday was at the top of our list of all our family gatherings. Should we find ourselves anywhere near this area in the future, there is no question we would once again stay at the Creekside Lodge!!! read more

We had a 7 day family reunion of 31 people. We rented the whole lodge and all the cabins. Cabins were clean and well appointed. The owner checked in with us everyday to make sure we were doing well. We hired a chef to cater our event. The kitchen had everything he needed. The location was great for visiting the park. read more

Excellent Lodge for a small or large family, or gathering of up to 40 people. The kitchen is huge and fabulous with all equipment, silverware and plates. Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space. Separate cabins with one or two beds. Outdoor porch with plenty of seating, a huge outdoor fireplace. Internally with the kitchen is a large dining room, an attached bar, and a room with a pool table. 10 miles east of the east entrance to Yellowstone. A nesting Osprey family at the end of the driveway. The stars at night are incredible. read more

We loved our stay at the Creekside Lodge. We stayed in cabin 7 which had a private deck overlooking the creek. It was private and just rustic enough. The staff were so kind and even walked us into our cabin when we checked in. Breakfast was great too. There's WiFi up by the front office (there's no cell service) but we wanted to unplug this trip, so that was actually a bonus for us. It's only a few minutes from the Yellowstone entrance, which was never busy anytime we entered the park. I'd absolutely stay here again! I will add - this area is pretty sparse so if you're not eating at the lodge, either plan to drive a bit for restaurants/grocery or plan ahead. read more

First time in my life stayed in a lodge. It located about 10 miles east entrance of Yellowstone and 1hr drive to Cody. The lodge we were stayed has no TV. It has a porch with table and chairs. The internet was WiFi, but we can't get any unless you sit at the front of the office. There was breakfast everyday. But the dinner had to reserve at breakfast time, sometimes might not have any because of short staff, have to go to Pahaska Tepee Resort which is about 6-9 miles away and close by the east entrance. The PTR has better food. The 3 nights we were stayed didn't have anyone clean the lodge, was told if got dirty towels bring them to the office willing to exchange, which is Okay to us. Sometimes we get unexpected guests from outside like small unharmed bugs, but not bears because we can't leave the trash outside. So it's just different. It's just feel like you lived in a wild. read more

The perfect spot. Right in between Cody and Yellowstone. You couldn't ask for a more friendly host. We had such a lovely time. The cabin was quaint and cozy. There was a cute game room which was a nice surprise! Breakfast was delicious and dinner was even better! But most of all the hospitality was above and beyond. Originally I had booked because of the affordable prices compared to other options but I would book again and again even if the rates were higher. We shared the two bedroom with my brother and his wife. We arrived and were greeted by Diana and Rick who explained that a forest fire was very close and we may not want to stay, we stayed and had a great time, we quickly felt like family and enjoyed our stay and had lots of laughs with Diana and her family. So much better than a hotel, clean comfortable and close to Yellowstone's east gate. Don't expect all the amenities of a hotel but do a expect friendly, caring and fun time read more

We loved our family stay at the Creekside lodge! We had a two bedroom cabin, and we could not be any happier with our choice while in Yellowstone. The owners are wonderful and attentive, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the price is great. We needed bear spray for some of the hikes we were doing in the park, and they kindly let us borrow theirs during our stay. The lodge is just 9 miles from the east entrance and they provide a large sign that makes them easy to find. Overall we could not have been happier with our choice. We just wish we had booked all our nights here. But we won't make that mistake again! We will book the Creekside Lodge for all our future Yellowstone visits. read more

A hidden gem that is a must stay if you are visiting Yellowstone. It doesn't have the high-end frills of a spa resort but it has the charm and comfort of home. I brought 9 friends up there with me for my birthday because I wanted to see Yellowstone and take pictures. Creekside is just 9 miles from the east entrance to the park and less than an hour drive from the Cody airport. Diana and her Mom were gracious and friendly hosts and Steve cooked some kick butt food for us. This was their first year running the Lodge and there were some kinks yet they didn't effect us and our fun time. I expect next year to be even better and I am going to try and get another group to head up there. If you are looking for cozy and comfortable, I recommend it. read more

Creek Side Lodge - New owners have a great attitude. No cell coverage nearby, a plus to me. Spent 4 nights here Aug, 10-14, 2015. The owners are very nice and helpful. Had lost luggage flying in and they received it and placed it in our cabin. Cabin 5 is the smallest and with the comfortable queen size bed a bit tight, but doable. The facilities were clean and the food very good. First night was an outdoor burger and dog meal with potato salad, beans and chips around the fire. S'mores were available for dessert. Other meals were stuffed chicken breast and lasagna. Breakfast was typical fare: eggs, french toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, juice, milk and coffee each morning. Nice scenery all around. Besides the local fox, there is an osprey nest directly across the road which is interesting. We hiked back up the creek on the horse trail to get a closer feel for the land. A fire in 2009 had eliminated most of the trees, but there was plenty other plants and wild flowers to see. The North Fork of the Shoshone is across the road and is accessible; caught several small trout. Although the Park boundary is only 9 miles, the Fishing Bridge/Grand Loop Jct. is 40 miles. Cody is 40 miles the other way. Only real negative is no coffee maker in room. We would go back if we have the time. Only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. read more

Our family stayed there on July 4, 2012. At that time it was for sale. My wife was so impressed that she wanted to buy it. Still does. Very nice owner and friendly (dog too). We will go back. Highly recommend it. read more

This place is a GEM! Don't miss out on this lodge, we loved everything about it. I am ashamed to say we almost missed out on this place. We had it booked for one night, but we were so tired from driving that we decided instead to grab a hotel close by in East Yellowstone, last minute. After being terribly disappointed, we got a refund and left said hotel, got back on the road to drive 45mns there and I am so very glad we did! The atmosphere, the charming main lodge, the staff, our cabin were so great! It's a beautiful property, but really, the staff is what made our stay. They make you feel at home, and they work their butts off at that place. The food was excellent, service was fantastic and we felt so comfortable there. If we ever come back to the area, we will visit again! By far our favorite stay during our 11 day trip.
