We were not disappointed! The location was ideal for the East park entrance and a quick shopping trip to Cody. Our hostess, Diana, could not be more accommodating. Although the cabins are designed with comfort in mind, we were able to enjoy the large deck each evening. Not having great WiFi service was not an issue - our teenage grandchildren found plenty of entertainment, most importantly learning how to play pool! In order to keep our group engaged, we held a pictorial scavenger hunt, 60-piece Lego contest for the grands and an all-inclusive art project where each grandchild drew something from the park on one canvas. Diana was gracious enough to allow us access to the dining hall so we could all be together during these activities and 'awards' ceremony! Finally, we all agreed that this holiday was at the top of our list of all our family gatherings. Should we find ourselves anywhere near this area in the future, there is no question we would once again stay at the Creekside Lodge!!!

We completely…read moreenjoyed it and although we prefer to tent (they have sites for both RV and tent) we chose a site with electricity and water (it was well treed) with convenient walk access to the shower/bathroom. The showers are coin purchase minutes,something my husband grumbles about, but I can appreciate. We walked down to the primitive camp site and it was very private by the river with many trees. The only downfall, not the parks fault, was a farmer adjacent to the park started mowing at 6 am!? Yes it woke me up!! Grrrr!! However, We felt extremely blessed to have picked this camp site just 40 miles east of Yellowstone, instead of camping in the park where it's colder and extremely populated to the point of feeling claustrophobic! Consider yourself privileged if you can secure a reservation here!

The people who work there are so nice!…read moreThe bathrooms were clean and nice because there was a separate area to get ready aside from the sink area where you're brushing your teeth. Their maintenance man helped us with some things on our RV. we used the laundromat and everything was clean and dry within an hour. The bus for the Cody rodeo will pick up at the campground, although we chose to drive our camper over to the fairgrounds where there is free parking. The campground is conveniently located near downtown Cody, as well as the Walmart, Bill Cody Museum and the rodeo. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Grand Teton National Park is in the northwest of Wyoming. It's a short 10 minute drive from Jackson…read moreHole. We spent the morning driving around and stop at various view points to take pictures. I feel like you can capture the mountain range from every angle. Grand Teton is well known for dramatic mountains and peaceful trails. I recommend going to Jenny Lake. The view is like a perfect photo. It was really windy and cold the day we visited so we didn't walk as far as we like. We also did the Snake River Float to take in the spectacular views while floating down snake river slowly. I'll write a separate review for the Float experience.

It is one of my absolute favorites,…read moregiven the beauty alone but also the accessibility, proximity to a fun town (Jackson) etc. The airport actually is within the national park (only park that has this feature), so if you land on a clear day you get a STUNNING view of the Tetons mountain range just to the west. Jackson is a 20ish min drive away, or if you go north toward Yellowstone you can pass along the scenic byway and stop along any of the turnouts for INCREDIBLE pictures, including the famous Mormon row. Go into the park toward Jenny lake for some of the most iconic spots, or a solid hike. Delta lake is a hard hike but it's STUNNING, and of course the hike +- the boat ride across Jenny lake to Cascade canyon and hidden falls is as stunning as they come. Oxbow bend is gorgeous for views and chilling too, and I saw folks fishing over in that area. Be aware that the lot at Jenny lake gets INSANELY full despite the fact that it is MASSIVE and has an overflow area, just cause the park is so popular. It is absolutely worth it. Do not miss this park - it lives rent free in my head and every time the weather is good outside I think about hiking in the Tetons!

There's grass at every site and a few trees. It's close to town. They have a clean laundry facility and restrooms if you need them. I definitely recommend this place!

Starting off the check in staff was not extremely friendly - she (owner?) did give me some…read moreinformation about local events going on but bickered with the man (husband maybe?) when I had asked about the free shuttle to one of the events. We pulled into our spot and the road noise was loud, we looked around and there were a lot of empty spots. I looked online and there were quite a few spots empty in the park so we called and asked if we could switch to another spot further away from the road, the lady seemed annoyed and said she would see what she had available. We told her that we looked online at available spaces to switch to and she told us none of those were available. We switched to a spot that was actually in one of the pictures on yelp and it did not look like the picture at all. Dead grass and weeds. They said they were trying to grow back grass but it was all dry, had dirt spots and the spots are so close together that there isn't really much other room to sit with chairs because they don't want a lot on the grass. The picnic tables are literally so dry and old that the wood is splintering and the paint is peeling off, they also look like they are going to fall apart. Not to mention you are literally on top of the other trailer next to you. Some care and money needs to be put into this campground to make major improvements. Spots are small and squished together and the way they have you park your vehicle is odd. We consistently smelled sewage and it was not from our trailer because when we switched campgrounds the smell was gone. Maybe they have sewage issues because we could smell it walking around the park and to throw garbage away. Also they do warn that the sprinklers run at night but it sprayed more of our trailer than the grass and left hard water spots all over the side. The mens bathroom had one toilet and one urinal for the entire park to use (I never went to the women's). Funny thing is that nobody ever did end up staying in any of the spots we asked about moving to. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone unless desperate. It is run down and not taken care of well. I would recommend stay at the KOA down the street- we moved to stay for one night there and it was night and day difference!
