We stayed in the campground for 4 nights. Campground is clean. Front office staff was nice. WiFi was very spotty (there is no cell service in Yellowstone). Campground is about 20 miles to Yellowstone gate but we didn't mind the drive. The views were amazing. Going east into Cody is about 22 minutes to the far west side of Cody. Wal-Mart there for groceries. Campground has decent showers, coin laundry ($3.50 for wash and $3.50 for dryer). Smaller pool but well maintained and clean. Hot tub is indoors in it's own shelter and separate from pool. It's actually pretty big. We didn't eat at the restaurant (open Wednesday-Sunday). Front office has some odds and ends and camping supplies and surprising cheap Yellowstone shirts. I bought one. The whole campground, including lots are gravel. I assume it'a easier to maintain in the environment. Views around the campground are beautiful.

This was literally the last choice for lodging for our family of 6 between Glacier NP and Teton NP. I made the reservations without looking at reviews or doing much research, which is not at all like me. First I'll point out that it is farther from the east entrance to Yellowstone than I had thought and driving back and forth became a bit of a drag. Also, although everything else is also the same way, it is overpriced. With that said, the room was clean, the AC worked well, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast that came with the stay was much better than an average continental breakfast. Also, and to my kids' delight, the staff provided a surprisingly good fireworks show for the guests as we stayed over July 4th.

The food wasn't that great. The waitress barely spoke to us. The prices were high and the food was just okay.

I started the review noting that the only thing that wasn't just right was the distance from various parts of Yellowstone Park.

The Old Faithful room used to be the garage so it had it's own little driveway and patio..........it was just perfect and it was a bit more private than the other rooms. Although we had our own little patio we chose to use the bigger and more public patio in the back of the house. It was overrun with flowers and birds.....our stay was just a little noisy with all the birds, but it was amazing. Robin and Bob were both very welcoming and filled with knowledge (that they shared) about the area. The stay included 3 dogs that were very friendly and fun to be around. The breakfasts were great! One morning we had eggs, they were steamed and perfect. We also had sausage patties, homemade gingerbread muffins, fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee. Everything was very well presented and served. We were offered a couple of muffins for the road. On the morning that we had to leave early to go horseback riding Robin made us breakfast burritos for the road. They were very good. This is probably the best place to stay while in Cody. The price was right, the location was great and it was very clean and comfortable.

We actually stayed up late talking to the owner about life. It was one of those nights that you'll remember forever. :) The rooms are extremely clean, the house is SO quaint. The garden is spectacular. And, maybe the best part? They have 3 amazing dogs who were my besties for the weekend: Sophie, Ginger and Coco. I was in LOVE with them. Honestly? If you're going to Yellowstone, why would you stay at a hotel? The Robin;s Nest is the same rate or cheaper, and you get an incredible breakfast in the morning. Speaking of breakfast.... I'm still trying to figure out what was in those pancakes because I was in pancake heaven. We will definitely be back here!
