My wife & I LOVED the cabins. Charming inside & out. Bedding was amazing. But the best part? Exceptional customer service from the front desk! We had a brutally long drive in and Siri wasn't much help. But the locals in Worland gave us the route locals use, which was an easy drive compared to Siri's epic misadventure. The rooms had a charming, cowboy-authentic feel--definitely a bit rustic, which may appeal to some more than others. The shower left a lot to be desired, and the pool turned out to be just a hot tub, which wasn't open during our stay. Unfortunately, we weren't informed about that when we booked. Check-in was a bit cumbersome, but the gentleman at the front desk was very polite and friendly, which helped smooth things over. On the plus side, housekeeping did a nice job keeping things tidy, changing out towels and emptying the garbage daily. Overall, it was an okay stay with a few nice touches, but there's room for improvement. read more

Our family loved this place. We stayed 2 nights. Beautiful family suite. Very comfortable and clean. We loved the cowboy decor and the kids loved the pool. It had beautiful views and was quiet. It was only a short walk to the Cody night rodeo. The only thing I recommend would be to bring your own towels for the pool, they were very small. read more

Most hostile customer service I've ever had. I stayed one night. The man behind the counter had a hard time getting me checked in. He couldn't get my card to work. He kept asking if I had another card. I said that same card worked just 10 minutes before at a nearby restaurant and there's no reason it shouldn't work. He was...irate...but it finally seemingly worked. Two days later my credit card company informed me my card was charged twice, asking if that was correct. Clearly not. I called Cody and it sounded like the same man behind the counter. I explained the situation. He put me on hold. When he came back he said no. 8: only been charged once. I told him my credit card transactions clearly shows two charges two cleared charges that were identical. He started getting irate saying "I'm looking right at it!! I'm looking right at it". I said I am looking right at my statement, could I send it for proof. He seemingly aren't hear and again said "I'm looking right at it!!l". When I said he was wrong and I clearly show two charges the next thing I hear is silence....then a click. A hang up! It's a mistake! No big deal! All they had to do was fix it! But his first reaction was to deny and refuse to listen. So an easy fix is now filed as a dispute with the credit card company. Worst. Customer experience. Ever. read more

Pros: Room was extremely clean. Spacious room and bathroom. Coffee pot, small fridge, charging station, iron and ironing board, soaps and conditioners were all available in the room. WiFi available. Cons: Cabins are split in half and are nearly connected with the neighboring cabin. They don't offer a feeling of privacy nor do they all have a "mountain view". Shower head was plumbed in an awkward location. Host was not overly hospitable. Did not use the pool area. read more

Wow! We loved the Cody Cowboy Village! First off, the staff at the front desk were fantastic. Everyone I spoke with at the front desk was super helpful and had all kinds of cool suggestions of places to visit in Cody. The "cabin" rooms are so cute, and extremely clean! We were impressed with the cleanliness, especially during this time of Covid-19. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was fantastic, and they provided very nice toiletries. There was also a refrigerator in the room, which is always helpful when traveling with coolers. There was a small pool in the middle of the property, but we did not use it. We ate our takeout meals at the picnic tables near the office. My favorite part of this stay were the adorable baby bunnies that live on the property. So sweet! The price for our room was very reasonable. We would definitely stay at the Cody Cowboy Village again in the future. read more

Give us some recommendations and beat us a good night. The rooms were clean and well-kept. We had a pretty good nights sleep. She checked us in, gave dinner recommendations. Explained all we needed to know about the room, check out, breakfast. The room was spotless, showers were hot, bed was comfy! Equipped with coffee maker, fridge, towels, soap, shampoo. Upon check out Tracy assisted & was super friendly. Cleaning staff were happy & take pride in their work! What a great experience! This is truly a cute place and a must stay in Cody. The cabins are very nice and clean and have a nice little porch with a bistro table and chairs outside. Inside is spacious, our cabin had 2 queen beds, iron board and iron, tv and a very spacious bathroom with shower. There is a heated spa on the premises as well. If you are on vacation you need to spend a couple nights in Cody and stay at the Cody Cowboy Village!!!! read more

Insanely clean and really cool multiple port charger that was included in our room that was a HUGE plus. PLENTY of room to charge devices. WiFi is very bad; calling it "spotty" would be generous. Would be a 5 if not for this element. Outdoor, long-range WiFi antennas can be effective for a nominal amount of money--this is an easy upgrade. read more

There is not much to dislike about this place... from the nice girl at the front desk to the impeccably maintained grounds. The AC was perfect, the bathroom was spotless, the breakfast was, well, basic but fine. I could see spending a few days there just lounging in the pool and having a few beers on the porch, talking with your neighbors. Loved this place!! The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were super clean! I loved the decorations of the room! The pool was a little small, but still worked and was very well maintained. The whole property looks well maintained!! Their breakfast is just enough to get you going on your day. I loved the location! Made it easy to get to all the great sights around town! And what a view!! Gorgeous! My only wish was that the rooms had little coffee makers. It's not a big deal to go to the lobby and get some, but it would've made this place perfect in my book! Ran into the manager named Petra. The nicest lady you're going to meet in Wyoming. Checked into the room it was clean. The decor was wonderful. And the price was just what we was hoping for. Log cabin feel. They have a nice hot tub / pool. And she was the one that recommended the steakhouse that we went to. Which was Cassie's. Off the hook. So my recommendation is. They wouldn't give even a partial refund even they agreed our safety could be at risk trying to reach them. These cute cabins are clean and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable and everything was so cute. The shower had great water pressure and the towels were fluffy. If you want the cute, country feel with the cleanliness and comforts of home, come visit Cody Cowboy Village! Also, don't forget the large hot tub with the waterfall! The hospitality was very nice, they greeted up with a smile and were very helpful in settling in. The rest was amazing, the beds and linens are better than $300 Marriott place. The location is easy and clean. The breakfast was sorely disappointing. Upon check in, the host said there's "a full cowboy breakfast" in the morning. I'm not sure what that means now. The continental breakfast was worse than the Super 8 in other towns I've been to. Wish I had skipped that. Otherwise, the place was wonderful. I admit-when we drove up, I was nervous that the online reviews had been overly flattering. I was glad that the previous reviews were right! We got there after the rodeo (which is not to be missed in the summer!), and the office had closed at 10p. No worries-our checkin information was at the front door and we loved having a marked map to find our rooms in the dark. This is not an actual hotel-it's log cabins. Real log cabins-complete with big windowsills which are great for glasses and charging gadgets!! We had a lovely front porch with views of the mountains-stunning way to wake up. Very Wyoming. The beds were super comfortable. Plenty of outlets. Bathroom had really pretty tile and good water pressure. And great towels, which I appreciate, as a hotel snob. The only thing missing was a ledge in the shower for shaving legs but hey, no one is perfect. Breakfast was just fine, super friendly owners who were just as helpful and kind as could be. We arrived after a week of camping. We looked forward to a nice comfy bed!!! This place was very cute. We had cabin 116. It had a nice view. The cabin was very clean and my family loved that it was like having our own little cabin! There is a big hot tub in the middle of the resort. Very relaxing. There is no pool. I originally thought from the pictures that there was a pool. The pictures are of the hot tub. There is a nice breakfast in the morning and I noticed that at each table there were fresh flowers. You are right down the road from the rodeo which my family really enjoyed. We had dinner at The Hungry Bear which was excellent. Nice Italian restaurant that was very affordable. Our meal for 5 people was $26.00. I would definitely come here again. Much better than your average chain hotel. read more

Great little cabin motel. Had Wifi, but it had a weird slow connect, reconnect thing going on that made it hard to use on a phone or tablet. Room was spectacular. It was a super clean cabin style lodging. Their made staff is impressive or they buy all new bedding and towels for every guest! Had a TV with cable. Also had a nice outside table and chairs. Bathroom accommodations were nearly 5 star...definitely a solid 4. Could have used a bit more space or something to store luggage. Continental breakfast was kind of weak, but they did have. The cabins at the Cody Cowboy Village are really nice and look well kept. There is kind of a parking area right outside of your cabin though it's on a weird gravel. There are no set lines so I guess you kind of have to just make your own. There are lots of wild bunnies around the area. This is a big plus. This cabin area is really close to the Cody Nite Rodeo (like a less than 1 minute drive away) and was really convenient for us when we went. Right next door is an old historical Cody area where you can tour but we didn't do this. The continental breakfast was nothing fancy, but sufficient. This is what a hotel in Cody, Wyoming should be like. Modern log cabins house spacious rooms that are decorated with every kind of cowboy-themed decoration you could possibly imagine. This is what I wanted my bedroom to look like when I was a horse-obsessed little girl. I think my favorite parts were the cowboy boot lamps and the cowboy boot wallpaper (!) in the bathroom. Where do they find these things?! In all seriousness, though, these are very nice rooms that have either been recently renovated or recently built. They are impeccably modern, clean, and comfortable! Only complaint: wi-fi is dreadfully slow and weak. The hotel staff were very nice and are clearly accustomed to dealing with out-of-towners like my friend and I. The continental breakfast was so-so, but I will never pass up a free breakfast while traveling-- or before a long day at Yellowstone! Speaking of Yellowstone, I would definitely recommend this to potential Yellowstone-goers. It took us about an hour and a half to get from the hotel to the NE entrance of Yellowstone (the entrance in Montana). However, if you go in through the east entrance, the drive time will be even less. Cool little place! I think this was the priciest of all the places we stayed at during our cross-country road trip, but it was worth it. read more

( Waterfall on the shoulders relieved the hours of driving!) The baby bunny rabbits running around was a treat for myself and my wife! There is nothing negative I can say about this place. We enjoyed the room very much and would definitely stay there again. Temperature of room was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Room was roomy enough. Everything was clean. Giant outdoor hot tub was not too hot and not too cold--the kids loved it. Front desk help was friendly and offered tips on the area. Location was great; we went to the Cody Cattle Company and the rodeo which were within walking distance. By the way, both of those are worth a visit but I'm not sure we would do either a second time. read more

My family thought I was joking when I said we would be staying at a place called Cowboy Village, and I had some doubts myself, despite great reviews on Trip Advisor. This is not your ordinary hotel. It is truly a mini village of little log cabins, each with one or two units. Ours was a one bedroom suite, so it was the only unit in the cabin. It was very spacious and comfortable. After a long day at Yellowstone this was the perfect place to finish off the day. The only complaint was that there was not a coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was in the clubhouse by the pool. It was simple but ok. The manager (owner?) was very friendly and helpful. If we ever come through here again, this is where we will stay. I gave it 4-stars, only for the lack of the coffee maker, so really like a 4.5. read more

I picked Cowboy Village because they came up on a Pet Friendly site. They have 2 rooms in which pets are allowed, i believe they are both King suites. This was not clear on the pet website, so our dogs had to sleep in our truck. The woman at the front desk told us specifically that we were not permitted to walk our dog on the grassy area around the pool and then proceeded to walk hers there. The room was fine and clean, although i wouldn't recommend it to someone who is sensitive to odors. Their cleaning products smelled heavily of ammonia. I had to let our room air out for several hours each night before i went to bed. read more
