Two of us spent 1 night here with a small travel trailer recently. We had a very pleasant stay. Super clean facility with nice bathrooms and hot showers. I don't think I'd want to pitch a tent here, everything is gravel, but if you're in an RV you'll be all set. There is plenty of space for even the biggest rigs! It's on the other side of town on a bluff - which is nice!! It's quite and you get a nice breeze. If you're just looking for a place to sleep this is perfect, there are not really any other amenities. The price was reasonable too. Cody is a busy city in the summer - best to make a reservation if you can! read more

Very large spaces for big rigs. We saw lots of high-end diesel pushers here. The dog area is small and right next to the road, as is the entire campground. The surfaces are stone. Everywhere. The hook-ups were great with everything you would ever need. The amenities are non-existent. The office is a small building but they do have ice. Otherwise, no trees, no pool, no meeting area, nothing. The owner does keep four or five unapproachable horses on the premises, but other than viewing the horses they provide nothing. The only grassy area for dogs is unkept and unlighted. I would overnight there again but I would not spend another 5 days of my life there. We camped in a Tiffin Allegro motorhome. read more

Not big rig friendly. Spaces okay for smaller RV but not for my 45' RV. I made a reservation in Early 2025 and arrived late on Sunday, August 27, 2025, at Buffalo Bluff RV Park in Cody, WY. I arrived around 5 PM and the office was closed. Instruction on the door directed me to a parking spot, space 15. This parking spot included a large obstacle located at the entrance and inside the designated parking space. This box made access to the parking space difficult. The obstacle was an electric utility box powering all spaces, with a yellow plastic post just inches away. Both the utility box and the yellow post were within the boundaries of the parking space, deliberately placed there. The utility box and yellow post made the space so narrow that I collided with the yellow post as I parked my RV in the space. This collision moved the post about six inches aside, but did not damage it. However, my RV sustained approximately $5k damage to the storage bay doors and fender at the rear wheel. This space is the only space in the row with encroachment by a power box. The presence of the yellow post indicates a recognition that a hazard exists, apparently intended to draw attention to this little booby trap. Park management knew that my RV is the largest unit on the road, 45 feet long and weighing 27 tones, and the largest unit in the park. Yet I was directed to the smallest space in the row. I regret relying upon the management to provide a safe and suitable parking space. It is expected in this industry that RV parks provide safe and suitable parking spaces, free of deliberate hazards. The park management had me sign a hold harmless agreement, generally mentioning that it is up to the driver to ascertain suitability of a space for use. Does the deliberate placement of obstacles in the parking space constitute gross negligence? Or, does the hold harmless agreement cover this loss? read more

Stayed at Buffalo Bluff RV Park for 5 days and I loved it! The whole lot is clean and well kept, spaces are decently sized and bathrooms very clean. My big loved the horses they have on site, they were very sweet. The staff was great and very personable as well. We stayed here for 2 nights, with 5 campers and a van. We booked our spots months in advance and paid $33 to "lock in" our spots. We called the day before and our spot numbers were moved. While it wouldn't be a huge deal, we paid a fee for the spots we had. After one night of being there, we got a call while in town saying there was someone who needed one of our spots and we would have to come move one of our campers. It is frustrating that after paying a fee, and our spots being moved once already, we had to unhook and pull into another spot for someone else. read more

The park is fairly new and typical for most RV parks, you are packed in. No shade, sewage discharge is close to your picnic table but can be moved. Restrooms are new but didn't appear to be cleaned multiple times a day. For a overnight stop it works but spending any time at the park not so much. read more

This park is pretty basic but clean and well run. It is right near massive power line but that didn't seem to effect our power or TVs. It is well located. If you are running Starlink, super fast speeds with no obstruction. read more

While on a road trip, we were lucky enough to get the last spot on 4th of July. The place was very clean. The spaces were easy to get into. The office was very friendly. The bathrooms were very modern, spacious and extremely clean. The homeowner next to the park was nice enough to let the rv park guests onto their bluff to watch the town fireworks. If back in Cody, this will be my first place to make reservations. read more

We planned on staying here just one night, but we had truck problems. We called the park and told them our situation and they were able to set us up in a spot, knowing we would not be able to move and that we had no date to when we would be leaving, because we had to wait on a part. I kept them updated and they were like it is fine, just let us know what we can do to help. That is going above and beyond, and we are so grateful. On top of that, this is a really nice park. You are up on a bluff overlooking Cody, Wy. We have electric bikes, and you are only 1.5 miles from downtown. I can't recommend this park enough. read more

Buffalo Bluffs is an amazing campground. Perfect location with amazing views of Cody. The owners were very generous offering up their lawn to watch the 4th of July fireworks and providing free eggs to our family from their chicken coop! Day 3 of our 5 days here and this little Rv park is great! The manager is a sweetheart and super helpful in recommending places to see in the area! The restrooms are spotless and she cleans them constantly. The property is well kept and close by downtown Cody but just far enough away from any traffic. Brand new RV park in Cody! We loved the park and the picnic table that went with the spot. Clean and new bathrooms/showers. Not too far from downtown Cody and the Cody Rodeo. About an hour and a half from the east Yellowstone gate. Nice staff! Even met the brilliant engineer who is family of the owners. We do wish there was some more grass on the outskirts of the spots for our dogs. Overall great spot with a little more room than the other rv parks near downtown Cody. read more

we were there for 4 nights and it was perfect . we had a pull thru and our combined unit is 55 ft and had room. we have slides both sides and no problem . you are close and it's pretty Basic, gravel and pretty level within a inch . laundry room clean. you right off hwy just had a couple semi trucks Jake brake noise but at night it was quite. the only thing I didn't like was the big power transformer plant across street . We were gone almost all days just there at night so it worked great . I would stay there again . read more

We loved this place! We were there over the forth of July. The park is perfect for us. The Owners live onsite. The roads are black rock and the sites (except where you park) are white rock. Buffalo Bluff is a beautiful park just outside town. Peaceful and quiet and the staff are wonderful. This is our second time here and love the atmosphere, and staff! They have their own corral when beautiful horses graze. Just adds to the flavor of visiting Cody, cowboy town!! read more

Great campground for passing through Cody for overnight or 3-4 days. Gravel sites all level. Very clean bathrooms. All individual with toilet, sink and shower and ADA. Full hook ups. Complete open sky. No frills, but super clean and convenient location near downtown shops and restaurants. Traveling in 35' class A and towing. read more

New park, full hookups, nice clean facilities, welcoming staff, sites are short had to angle park tow vehicle, quite, not far from Cody.

We had a nice visit. Other campers were quiet and respectful. Everything was clean and orderly, including checking in. The handful of back-in spots had the best view of the mountains. Our dog is looking forward to more plants in the dog park , so he will know where to go! read more

Check-in was simple, the park is clean, and obviously well kept. Four individual bathrooms with showers were clean and worked well. The sites are decent sized, but very close to each other so when the neighbors are outside their RV chatting it up, you can't help but listen to their conversation, so hopefully it's something you're interested in. Sadly we aren't in the market for a new waterbed and don't really care about the population of Galveston, Texas, so we didn't find it helpful to be part of their conversation. Also, we had the end site next to the road, but instead of walking an extra few feet, people would cut through our campsite walking right past our picnic table seemingly oblivious to the fact we were in the site. At night, make sure you have a flashlight because there are only lights near the bathrooms, so walking between your RV and the shower it's real dark. But overall, not a bad experience and we'd stay here again. read more

This RV park is just north of town and right off the highway. It is gravel and somewhat level. Our site, 8, was low toward the highway but not enough to worry about for a day or two stay. It fit our 25' springer motorhome well. The park is clean but bare of landscaping trees or bushes except to the west of the park. Laundry machines are newer and work well. $1.75 to wash, $1.50 to dry. The dog "park" is small fenced area adjacent to the highway. Benches and picnic tables are fiberglass or a plastic material, easy to keep clean. Sites are close together. Our neighbors were sitting next to our water, sewer, electric cable. We called a taxi to take us to town, $12 each way. Uber and Lyft never answered. Staff was very friendly and helpful. At the north end of the park is a grove of trees with irrigation water running through it. It was full of dog poop. Don't know if it's local dogs or rude park clients. Not much walking ability. I walked my dog up the highway for exercise. Overall this is a nice basic, clean park with reasonable rates suitable for short term stays. read more

Buffalo Bluff RV Park sits on a hill next to a highway with a view to the east of a large power station and overhead transmission lines above the RV park. With this location, view, and highway noise (truckers had to use jake brakes to go downhill), we will never stay at this RV park again and cannot recommend it. read more

This is a new park - it's very clean, quiet and the sites are level. We have a 36' coach pulling a car and we had enough room. It could be better marked so you SEE IT and know where the entrance is. There is a metal sign on a big rock but it blends in and doesn't stand out. Still, we would stay here again. The town of Cody is charming and has some of everything you need. We used it as our base to explore the area including Yellowstone, Buffalo Bill State Park and Shoshone Forest. I wish it had a hot tub, but all in all it's a great park. read more
