When I asked who the manager was, I was told one manager is Mason and the "big manager" is Angelle, but Angelle only comes in twice a week. The entire conversation felt unprofessional and dismissive. To make matters worse, when I picked up my order, employees in the deli area were openly talking and laughing about something rotten in the cooler, discussing how bad it smelled and who was going to clean it up--all within earshot of customers. The chicken was juicy and delectable. It was glazed with a pepper jelly sauce. The waitress says it was made in house and the peppers were grown on property. We were allowed to walk around the property after breakfast to view the historic grounds. The plantation was built in 1790.
