I must admit, I only decided to try it because a girl on tik tok said they have the best honey mustard, so glad I listened to her recommendation. This is a cafe, so they have a large coffee selection but also a nice size food menu. When I got there, I was immediately greeted at the register. You place your order then sit wherever you like. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad wrap with fries. After about a 10 minute wait, the waitress brought it out. I was so tasty and fresh. a nice size portion, in fact I only finished half of it. I can't wait to go back to this cafe and try more items on this menu. Located in a strip mall, plenty of parking available.

I really liked the consistency of the coffee--it's thicker, creamier, and more concentrated, which…read moremakes it stronger than your usual cup. I was recommended to try adding chicory (a classic New Orleans touch from back in the day when coffee was stretched), but I'm still on the fence about it. It adds a slightly bitter, herbal root flavor--kind of like ginseng. It's not bad, just different, and I think I still prefer my regular iced coffee with a splash of whole milk. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, it's a great little grab-and-go café if you're on the move.

Service was also a bit rude and rushed and we were the only ones ordering. 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches were $27.50 I likely won't recommend or go out of my way to go back. New Orleans has some high coffee competition in my opinion and this place just didn't do it for me.

This place is one my go to coffee hang outs. I almost want to keep it a secret because I enjoy that…read moreit is not overcrowded and quaint. This is what I would call a Orleans Parish fancy coffee shop setting with home made meals and coffee in Jefferson. You feel like you are in New Orleans as it is a raised house, with high ceilings, wooden creeky floors, door locks that barely work for the bathroom, and even live music. I have been coming here monthly since the summer and it is a small business owned by a woman who makes her own pickles and cookies with sea salt and coffees. Since it is small, they sometimes run out of items so if your heart is set on something call ahead. She has the most incredible pulled pork cheesy biscuit. Again, sometimes the cheesy biscuit is out, but the regular biscuit is just fine. The home made pickles are truly incredible. My hubby does not like pickles and he craves these. There is a sweetness to them, it isn't all vinegary. And the owner is considering selling them on the side soon. The cookie is a chocolate chip cookie that she adds seastalt to that enhances the flavor. The salad I had, she was out of the particular greens, but the salad was amazing too! The coffee I had was a caramel or something style, it was so good, I got it in cold and hot latte style! I love the teal truck outside that matches the door. The place is clean inside. There are steps to get into the place, there are about 5 or 6 small tables inside, there is a porch with a couple of small tables as well. Prices are on par with any other Orleans parish coffee shop, and parking is off street parking and is across the street which is basically Causeway.

Point of note is that they are busy, you sign up for seating from a screen out front of the cafe, and gratuity is added on all check with 2 or more persons. These could've been a deterrent for me, but everything changed when the food arrived. We were greeted by our server Edwin, and he presented the menu to us, which at first glance can be intimidating. He gave insight to the specials and took our drink orders. I had a late to drink which was good, and my wife had the chai. We asked for help to narrow our food choice down and his recommendations were spot on. We share one pancake according to the recommendation of our server which was fluffy, soft and delightful with the syrup and butter. I had the open face biscuit with crab. I think it was called the Cat Momma Biscuit. It came with a sunny egg and beurre blanc sauce. It was absolutely delicious. My wife had the special steak quesadilla that came with fresh salsa, avocado, and sour cream. It was also amazing. We also had a side of the breakfast potatoes which were a little salty in my opinion, but still a popular favorite amongst locals. There was so much to choose from in terms of food and drinks. They have their own bottle beverages which we ordered a ginger lemonade, and a Fuji Apple Oolong tea to go. Both were great. I can't say enough about the food and bottle beverages . This place is a must!
