There is so much potential in what is going on here. Meaty fries, pickles under patty, and apparently fresh ingredients. However the atomic burger tastes plain. Like almost-didn't-finish-it plain. That could potentially work with a large patty burger with solid flavor from the meat, but it falls short in a big way on a double smash burger. read more

This is one of my burger spots in the city when I'm craving a delicious burger. I wouldn't consider it fast food because the food is always cooked hot and fresh to order. The order turn around is also pretty fast you may wait 5 mins, but you can't beat that for cooked to order food. This time around I ordered the Atomic Burger with a side of fries and spicy ketchup. The burger comes with two patties and is fully dressed with their special sauce. The burger was well seasoned and so juicy. We're always searching for new Food/ Restaurants to try on Saturday Family Night. We were excited to try this because our grandson wanted burgers. Totally underwhelmed! The mushroom Swiss sliders were good but the chicken sandwich was quite spicy and my daughter's was totally overcooked. Do not get the chili dog for around $6- small and the chili looked and tasted burnt. I wasn't impressed with the fries although the grandchildren liked them better than the hot dog. One afternoon while running errands I was really feeling a burger but was lacking time a bit. I decided to pay this place a visit and I can't say I wasn't satisfied. I find the place is pretty pricey for a, not exactly fast food, but not gourmet burger. I think it was like $15-18 for a double cheeseburger, nothing special just a menu item. The fries are similar to five guys, but I would prefer five guys' fries. The burger was fresh and cooked to order, very hot when I first bit in. The patties are also pretty thin but there's a great burger to salad ratio on the burger. Just walk in and to the counter and order your food and wait just like any other fast food restaurant. There's a bunch of seating inside of this just bland dining room. Overall I don't hate it just if it were a little cheaper it would be great read more

Best sliders in the area! Love the fact that you can mix and match them in a combo. There may be a bit of a wait in drive-thru but the inside moves at a quicker pace. The drinks are self-serving and they offer an array of sauces. The fries are always fresh and the milkshakes come highly recommended. I walked in and was not greeted right away. In fact the person I think might have been the manager was on his phone not paying attention at all. However, Justice did take my order and she was great. She told me her top three burgers and what she would put on them. So I ended up getting the Atomic burger with bacon, and made it a combo. The burger was really good, this particular one came with AB sauce which had a spice to it. Burgers taste homemade and not frozen. The fires were also really good! The only reason for the four stars was the service that was initially provided when I walked into the building. I would definitely eat here again, but would order at the drive through instead. read more

When I reached out to the store, the manager told me to reach out to Uber Eats for a refund and they could send me store credit. Terrible. Never in a million years will I spend money at this place. I had high hopes based on other reviews. Smoke was so bad inside I had to take whole family outside. We sit outside in the hot sun because every table is taken. I asked for someone to help me tilt the umbrella to block it. I am told the owner will not allow them to touch the umbrellas or they will get in trouble. So, we baked until a cloud finally blocked the sun. Order was wrong. I sent back. It never came back. Even after a polite employee came out and asked how to remake burger, Waited 30 minutes, and it never made it back out. Went back in and no one knew what I was talking about. They also left a fries off my order- no big deal but the meal never came out. So my family ate, I did not. $50 for small, thin burgers. I make better burgers at home and I venture to say a Sonic burger rivaled what I saw, even though theirs is not even fresh. What a terrible experience. I went back in and asked for a refund. We struggled to get that done; allegedly, I was refunded. Expect a chargeback on my credit card if it doesn't get refunded. We had to leave and the order still never made it out an hour into the visit. Fail. What a joke. The only thing atomic about this business is how it bombed the customer experience and satisfaction. We will never return, and I will advise others to stay clear. read more

I came here specifically for a mushroom swiss burger and it was not the best. It was medium-medium well and not like I'd prefer. It also was bland and tasteless. I think if they'd put a little seasoning on it, it'll taste much better. Food can definitely be seasoned without salt but most places do not incorporate any herbs to build a good flavor profile. I mean, a dash of Mrs. Dash won't hurt. That said, I'll go back and try a different burger and request it to be seasoned and well done and update review accordingly :/ read more

Atomic Burger is sooo good and yet I feel like people don't know about it. I got the Jamburger with fries and truffle mayo. The drive through service was just fine and fast. Let's talk about that jamburger. The patty was perfectly cooked but the bacon and onion jam was the star of the show. A great added texture and sweetness it will be different from your average burger, no doubt. These are some of my favorite fries too. And they had such a good selection of dips. This time I went with truffle mayo, but they also had siracha mayo and roasted garlic aioli, like c'mon that's outstanding! They also have your classic milkshakes which is a great addition to this meal. If you're in Metairie or nearby, you can't go wrong with a stop at Atomic Burger. read more

This place is a shadow of its former self, yet according to the website, this location in particular still serves as the chain's "Flagship". I would encourage ownership to look up what that term means, as it falls comedically short on all fronts. 1) The big liquid nitrogen fueled shake machine that was the centerpiece of the restaurant is not only broken, but appears to have become just a dusty old decoration piece at the center of the restaurant with absolutely no indication that there's any effort to repair it. That used to be THE reason you'd come to the place, and the burgers were a nice plus. I didn't mind paying 50% more for a milkshake there because it was worth it. But now, a soft serve ice cream machine has been placed on the counter obstructing the once-working nitrogen machine, and they're making shakes with that. Y'know, just how McDonald's and Burger King do. But they're still charging 50% more. For what exactly? IDK. 2) The logo on the wall is literally peeling off. This is the "Flagship" location and they can't even care to keep the logo looking nice. It's literally the core piece of marketing in the place (along with the nitrogen machine) and they can't even ensure it looks nice. It's a reflection of the brand, and that reflection, like the brand, is falling apart. 3) IDK if the building has settled, but the bathroom doors don't close without slamming them shut. God forbid someone of meager strength, such as a child or something, has to use the bathroom alone, they may be able to get the doors to close, but opening them is a different story. I'm a big dude, and even that was a chore. 4) The French fries they serve are just little scubbles. Not a single French fry longer than an inch in either order we received. Sure, maybe I could have complained and gotten a better order, but there's got to be a manager back there watching this stuff go out and thinking that's perfectly ok to serve someone paying $20 for a burger lunch. The fact that they allow such poor quality to go out and not blink an eye speaks larger volumes about the brand. To be quite honest, it's an average burger place with average fries. There's nothing really special about the burger and its atomic sauce. The only outstanding part of it seemed to be the lettuce which was really fresh. The size was decently sized for its price. The fries were okay. The presentation of the food was subpar, reminded me of White Castle lol The food was just okay. Wasn't really "fresh" like we've gotten from other burger places. I was in the area and needed lunch. I had never been to Atomic Burger but had heard from a friend that it was worth a try. I ordered the Beyond Burger substitute and a side of edamame, no drink. My total for those two items was $16! The burger was very average- better than at a McDonalds per say but not worth the $12 I paid for it. It wasn't a huge burger either. Awesome!! I had the poblano burger, wifey had the atomic burger and my son had the mushroom burger. My daughter only had fries. All were deelish. The meat was well seasoned and moist, the homemade bun was soft and yeasty, and the cheese was on point. The roasted poblano peppers were a nice touch. Not much heat, but I got them for flavor. No lettuce and tomato is the way to go. The fries were hot and crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth creamy on the inside. We also had the AB sauce and sriracha mayo sauces for dipping. The AB sauce had more depth, though. Now the last time I was here the fries were weak and nothing to write home about, so I'm glad they were good today. The burgers and fries were as good as Company Burger tonight. Mmmm. Now the shake game was off point. My son had a strawberry shake, I had wedding cake and my daughter had plain vanilla. The wedding cake didn't have nearly enough almond flavoring as it needed. It was weak and tasted more like a glorified soft serve dish.
