Called around 9:30am, and they came at 12:30pm. Ian was the guy who worked on our sink. He was super friendly, informative, and professional. After asking just a few questions, he identified the likely problem (clog in main pipe), got his tools, and got to work. He explained everything he was doing while he did it. Within 10 minutes, the clog was fixed and my sink was draining like new! They charged $130 for the service, which is on the lower end of estimates I've read online (saw $120 to $185 on Google). Very satisfied with the work and the service. Would highly recommend them and call them again!

Declined to fix the line when a quote was requested claiming he didn't have a hitch post on his truck to tow an excavator to reconnect it. (Sewer coupling was about 12" below grade) and his truck with the hitch was acting up. Didn't have a recommendation for another service to solve the problem when asked for referral. Not prepared to provide anything more than the most basic service on this $75.00 call.

Took $450 and Disappeared…read more Absolutely terrible experience with C. Burns Plumbing. We called them for an emergency sewer backup affecting one of our tenants. Chris came out and used a hydrojet and told us the line was cleared. He then charged us $450 and left. The very next day the sewer backed up again, which means the problem was clearly not fixed. Since this was an emergency, we immediately tried to reach them. We called their office, texted Chris directly, and emailed their office multiple times asking them to return and correct the issue. They completely ignored us. No call back. No response to texts. No response to emails. No attempt to stand behind their work. They were very responsive when it came time to collect the $450, but once the job failed, they simply ghosted us. As out-of-state property owners, we depend on contractors to be honest and reliable. Instead, C. Burns Plumbing took payment for a job that clearly was not completed properly and then refused to communicate or take responsibility. If you want a plumber who takes your money and disappears when the work fails, this is the company for you. Otherwise, I strongly recommend finding a company that actually stands behind their work and answers their phone after they get paid. Extremely unprofessional and very disappointing.

Let me tell you something, CPR for Pipes is one of the most epic companies I've had the chance to…read morework with. My main drain got clogged, and sewer water came into my basement. CPR came ASAP and assessed the situation right away. I had A TON of gravel in my pipe, no one knew how in the world this gravel had gotten into the pipe. But they persevered and were determined to clean the main drain, find the reason why there was gravel in the pipe, and repair it. The gravel was posing more problems than they expected, so they brought the big guys, a vacuum truck that sucked all that gravel out of the pipe. They put tarps all over my house to protect the walls and carpet for this phase of the job so the corrugated hose didn't scratch anything. The gravel was finally out and the last phase started: the lining of the pipe. This is basically adding another pipe inside the existing pipe without digging! The curation of the epoxy for the lining took several hours, so if someone needs this done to their pipes, I recommend leaving the house for the day and let CPR work their magic. We got a hotel for that night. Tony Smith, the owner, always insisted that he didn't want to dig my yard, he and his team consider every single possibility to avoid digging. Tony and his team were always concerned about minimizing the cost and the impact on my property. The job is now finished, the pipe is lined, we have water flowing again and I couldn't be happier with CPR. Tony and his team are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. CPR is just awesome in every way. If you're a homeowner with plumbing problems, CPR is THE best plumbing company in the Dayton area. Hands down. Before committing to a repair of that size, I obtained a second opinion. The second plumbing company cleared a blockage and provided video confirmation that there was no collapse or structural damage. Based on the major misdiagnosis, I requested a refund under their advertised 100% satisfaction guarantee. Communication was slow, and I was made to feel like the video proof I provided from the second company was insufficient (even though it was time stamped, dated, and I shared the invoice summary). I initially received only a partial refund. After multiple follow-ups and escalation to ownership, I was ultimately refunded in full. I'm sharing this so others (especially first time homeowners) understand the importance of getting a second opinion before approving major excavation or high-cost repairs. While the final outcome was a full refund, it required time and persistence to resolve.

When the technician, Eric, arrived, it quickly became clear that he did not know what he was doing. Not only did he fail to resolve any of the issues, but he also managed to make the situation worse. As for the simple task of replacing a drain stopper, I was told it would require an entirely separate visit. Seriously? This is unacceptable. Rooterman showed up at the time scheduled and diagnosed our plumbing drain line problem. They installed a new clean out and jetted the pipe, then showed me the pipes via the camera they use to check everything out in the pipes. I was very happy with their service and highly recommend!

The gentleman quoted me $1,695 in labor, as all the parts would be reused just refitted. I left work early, drove down there, disassembled, cleaned, and refitted them myself in 45 minutes. Duke came out inspected and turned the gas on. $1,695 for 45 minutes of work is disgraceful. You are taking advantage of people. I will be watching and reporting if you try to take my review down.
