This review is long overdue, but because I was so pleased and impressed, I could not let this go unsaid. Jim Hyatt provides high quality service at a fair price. He is extremely professional, courteous, efficient, and an expert problem solver. He is truly a man of integrity, and his commitment and passion for his work shines through, as well as speak for itself. Our home was on the market to be sold, and we had a pipe burst on the second floor. It leaked downstairs and ran a distance from the ceiling near the stairs across the living room, and down the wall. Needless to say, we were now thousands of miles away and our Realtor® had staged the home. Jim and his crew swooped in like "plumbing superheroes" and saved the day. He stayed in contact with me through the process and worked with my Realtor® as needed. She was very happy with the expedience and quality of his work, as we were. Jim Hyatt's high quality service is consistent. A couple of years ago, he installed our water softener, and we were happy with the service and price we received then. As a military family, moving in and out of different areas, we aren't always sure who to trust, or where to get the best services, so we rely on referrals from one another. They eventually got the shower fixed, but took my relatively new shower head and replaced it with total garbage that I then had to replace with a decent shower head. Had they asked, I could have asked them to leave what was there, but they didn't ask. At least Hyatt's sent capable people out to fix what the first two messed up. read more

26 March 2026, Gabe and another worker showed up to see what to the problem with water leaking. Gabe checked it out said he had to leave to get a pump. I ask him if he would check the water heater,because I had no hot water.. He said he would. Got back water went down, had to leave again to get rubber pipes blue ones. Took to he others off and told me there was no warranty on his work. When I talked about the water heater heater,Gabe told me I would have hot water in 45mins to an hour. That was not true I had none. Was charged for the work. Had to CALL back and told the lady at the desk I still had no hot water, even ask Gabe if he would wrap pipes. He had no tape. Two other workers came out and checked the water heater, replaced the thermostat and toilet flap . They told me I would have hot water in 45 mins to an hour. They told the truth. My concern was we with Gabe and the other worker. No warranty on the pipe work and they led me to believe they checked the water heater and didn't. Was charged for both days. Now have to be concern with the pipes, if I will have to get them replaced again . read more

We cannot say enough good things about Hyatt Plumbing. They found a leak which was damaging our flooring. After a lot of digging, those words no home owner wants to hear.. drain replacement.. jack hammering... Hyatt started early on this work, taping off a clean area for them to work. Drain was repaired, but they discovered the pipe disintegrated. They needed to dig another hole so they moved our appliances out, and started digging again. Doing everything they could to keep from pulling up our wood flooring. These guys said they weren't leaving till the work was done. The job was finished, they left our house at 9:30 at night. They didn't want to leave us without water. They returned the next day to connect our water heater and softener back up, and offered to lay tile if we had it purchased. These guys left no concrete dust, a little gravel from having to haul it in and out, but they swept up after they were done. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable, and had an amazing work ethic. I recently had a toilet replaced by Hyatt I had used their services before. This time the price was over $450. Is that reasonable?

Broken promises. We had a big plumbing project we needed done. Jim Hyatt came out to look at the project, and he seemed great. Very genuine, honest, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced. He promised me I would have a quote in my hands by the following afternoon. In fact, he went as far as to tell me that he's not like all the others who don't keep their commitments. That he is a man of his word, and that he consistently under-promises and over-delivers. The next day came and went, but still no quote. The following day, same thing. I called every day to remind them that I was waiting on their estimate, and was told by the admins that Jim was going to call me back in a few minutes. He never did. Three days in a row, I called, and was told the same thing, and Jim never called me back, and I never got an estimate. So much for under-promising and over-delivering. I'm disappointed. I know this happens all the time ... we've worked with many contractors who seem enthusiastic at first, and then their enthusiasm quickly wanes. I don't understand it. How hard is it just to give an estimate? I understand that everybody's busy ... believe me, I get it. But to not return a phone call is just rude. read more

Hyatt's Plumbers just left our house. Between the time that we called and the time that they left was less than 3 hours. Incredibly affordable and efficient. I also love a service team that will do their thing without needing your assistance or attention at every turn. Highly recommended. Hyatt's plumbing sent two people to my home one was the plumber and an apprentice, young person out of high school. They were to replace the two shower fixtures and bathroom faucets. Quoted me $125.00 an hour for labor. I provided the fixtures. The work was done to my satisfaction. They smelled bad and had filthy clothes on, holes in their pants no covers for their shoes and the Hyatt's shirts that appeared they wore them all week. I had them remove their shoes. When they went outside, they did not put their shoes back. They charged me for their smoke breaks. The problem they over charged, 4 hours work and charged me 6.5 hours at $125 per hour. How I ask they said the apprentice installed the faucet not the plumber. They are misleading and dishonest. Don't Don't use them. They are not on the Better Business Bureau for a reason. read more

The main sewer line was backed up at our house.They came in, dug about 3 feet into the hard dirt behind the house, installed a new clean-out fitting in the backyard, and snaked the system out to the street, all in about 3 hours. Jim Hyatt is the best in the business in Fairborn, Ohio and he's added more trucks so that shows he's doing well. We had Roto Rooter out because of a drainage problem with the washing machine. We had them out 4 or 5 times. They could not figure out the problem. Jim came out, said "why not move the washer closer to the dryer and have it drain into the main?" He took the situation in hand fixed it and we have not had any kind of a problem since. We now need a gas line run. We need a new toilet installed. We will be calling Jim Hyatt because having it done right the first time relives so much stress. Not only that, he's fair in pricing and clear in his explanation. Pleased with my service. I had a leaking faucet replaced, a new vanity installed and a cloth diaper installed on my toilet. It took them about 3 hours and costed $300 at $90 an hour with a few additional costs for parts. They were professional, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. They even took the extra step to haul away the large box that the bathroom vanity came in! read more

I wanted a valve replaced to improve the water pressure to my fridge in our new house. I didn't realize the initial valve was actually installed wrong, and he pointed it out and fixed the issue quickly and efficiently. Price was very reasonable too! I had been expecting at least $200 or so, based on some internet searches, and was only charged $111. Will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs! read more

My toilet was running and the valve to shut the water off to the tank was leaking. I called Hyatt's at 8:30am on a Tuesday and they were at my house at 9:30am.
