My husband I just went to donutland about 6 am. I had a glazed do nut that was still warm and the best donut i have ever eaten. Zero greasy taste some donuts have from frying. I've been here a few times since I first tried them. They sell out and close up shop pretty early in the day, so unless you like your sugar for breakfast early in the morning, you'll be out of luck by lunch. The donuts are okay tasting for the most part, but the last time I got some, the bear claw filled with apples was pure raw uncooked dough inside. Just not edible, so a waste of my money. I wont be going back, that is kind of bad quality control....I mean, taste your food for doneness before selling to the unsuspecting customers. Come on. That's pretty bad. Stopped in Sunday morning. Got apple fritters, bear claw, cinnamon roll and old fashioned sour cream donuts. Everyone enjoyed them. They were soft and fresh and full of flavor. The fritter was a little sweeter than I'm used to, but still delicious. Definitely would stop here again. read more

Wow! Best Donuts I've had so far in Grants Pass. Friendly, professional employees. Nice selection of classics and new flavors. I had to get a whole dozen and some extras for my visiting guests at home . These donuts are so fresh and melt in your mouth!! The people that own the shop and work there are friendly and very sweet. I'm pushing 70 and the only other donuts I ever had that tasted like these are the ones I got when I visited my grandparents in Lebanon Oregon at a little bakery called "Durham's"....a little privately owned shop. Takes me back to my childhood. They are never greasy and the dough they use is fresh and soft. No matter which donut or fritter I order, they are all way too great!!! They also make these little croissant wrapped hot dogs and spicy sausage dogs which are simply delicious. So glad we have this choice here in Grants Pass and they are soooooo good!! read more

Went in on a rainy Sunday morning... Wow! I have lived near this establishment of donut sorcery for a few years now and this was my first time popping in. I wish I hadn't waited so long. First off that gal behind the counter (maybe the owner ) was very sweet and kind.The donuts themselves were phenomenal. Very fresh and on point! Way better than say that hipster donut shop up there in Portland everyone raves about. The maple bacon bar was my #1 and then the blueberry fritter came in a very very close #2. The couple who runs it are very sweet. It has a family-run charm and obviously makes a good enough impression on people to keep their regulars coming back for more. But personally, I'm not impressed by their donuts. Their ok, I mean, I always finish them, but it tastes about the same quality I could find at a supermarket bakery. Nothing to get excited about (despite their rather exciting name). Also, their interior is about as bare as you can get. There's nothing on the walls except for a tv that's never on and plastic tablecloths. Most people come in and out, but for people who do actually want to eat in, it would be nice if they tried to create some sort of atmosphere, if even a simple one. read more
