Great Experience @ Donut Country in Medford, OR. !! I called this establishment the afternoon before my visit to see what kind of 'smaller sized' sweet treats they had available for purchase. A friendly employee let me know about their selection of donut holes and cake donuts compared to the usual 'average sized' irresistible selection. I also asked about current hours of operation and she relayed the early access drive-thru hours, as well as store walk-in times. This area was pretty busy between 7-8 am on a weekday and I wasn't surprised at the many patrons quickly coming and going through their drive-thru. I opted to go inside to see all of the goodies up close! What a great neighborhood shop! Of course, the familiar aroma of an American staple such as the classic donut filled the air and brings a delightful sense of happiness to you first thing in the morning! Although I was very tempted to go crazy with getting one of everything!!, I controlled myself and opted for a couple dozen seasonal pumpkin donut holes (cakes donut consistency) and several bags of classic glazed donut holes to share with some very satisfied people. They happily devoured the sweet and delicious breakfast desserts! I myself inhaled a whole bag... (a dozen donut holes) I'll have to limit my visits to Special Occasions Only because this can easily get out of control, thank you! read more

"Eat more HOLE foods!" Great local donut shop. Most options are $1.35 with larger donuts $2.25. There's a drive-thru option and indoor seating. If you're looking for a recommendation, a friend who has been here many times says it's one of the best apple fritters he's had. read more

Staff is rude and donuts are overpriced. After waiting in line and getting to order at the speaker, counter person was unable to hear my order. I drove up to window to be greeted by a rude teenager who demanded I drive around and get back in line a second time to order. I tried to explain what happened, but he would not serve me. So now I don't go back. Yulissa's Bakery is my go to now. read more

The best donuts in Medford. Also the friendliest staff. I am frequently going through their drive through at 6:30 am in the morning, to pick up 10 dozen donuts for my guys at work. They always box my order promptly, are amazingly alert and friendly, always tell me about any specials I may want to try. Can I just say, the Apple Cider Donuts are to die for? I adore them. The apple fritters are also amazing! But truly, anything you order here will be awesome. read more

Awesome doughnuts, friendly service, drive thru convenience is awesome. Consistent delicious doughnuts

My mechanic is a foodie and recommended Donut Country. Driven by many times but not at ideal donut time. I have not been inside. It was a very cold morning. Went straight to the drive-thru. Had to order my donut, sight unseen, and I was not disappointed. read more

Best donuts in the Rogue Valley! Seriously yummy cake donuts. Always fresh and delicious! Thank you to workers and owner for this great spot. It's really hard to find good donuts! This is THE PLACE! read more

Delicious Donut May I Say, There Are Probably Some Of The Freshest (and better tasting honestly) that I've ever had in my life, And I'm Not Exaggerating. Service Is Fine, But The Ambiance Could Be A Bit Better. When I Ever We Pass By The Drive Through, The Clerk Is Always Not That Spirited And Almost Like He Has No Energy. Other Then That Though, This Place Is Pretty Awesome read more

I'm in Medford for a few days, so I decided to give Donut Country a try. The place was very easy to get to and they have a private lot which made parking a snap. They also have a drive through window which is very cool, but I decided to go inside to order. Luckily they weren't very busy and there was only one person ahead of me. I thought the inside was clean and they have several tables where you can sit down to enjoy your food, but I took my order to go. I picked six donuts that looked good to me, but there were no signs or descriptions, so I'm not sure what they were exactly LOL. The person helping me put all of them into a paper bag (instead of a box) which I thought was weird and made it more difficult to eat/share them. Overall, I thought the donuts tasted good and they were soft and fresh! Also, I thought it was super cheap compared to Seattle. I would definitely come here again. read more

Always great customer service and fresh donuts !! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting rogue valley !

Years....years....they've been here in the valley! Can not go wrong with Donut Country! Yummy

Hands down best donuts ever. The glazed are to die for. I'm not a glazed fan but the ones here are awesome. The chocolate donut was good too but that glazed is unmatched. read more

Our favorite place to get donuts! Even though we moved out of state 10 years ago we always go to donut country EVERY trip back home to visit. My son loves the orange crullers and I love the salted caramel donuts. Very homey environment and the staff is always kind and treats you like family. Definitely recommend read more

I pulled up to Donut Country and the front doors were closed, but the drive through was open. My kiddos & I pulled up and had to guess what they had because there is no menu at the drive though. I get they have your typical donuts, but I feel like you should treat every person coming in as if they've never been there before(especiallysince it was my first time). After asking if they had everything available, they responded with, "well, what do you like?" I did laugh and say it's a little hard to order without a menu or seeing everything like we usually do at a donut shop so I kindly said he going to have to be patient. Oh, no croissants. No bear claws. No apple fritters. At least not that day.. but I don't know if they even had them on the menu or if they were just out. I'm hoping in the future, they at least have a paper menu available or their main donuts posted read more

Best donuts in Medford! Fresh donuts and a great coffee. Will definitely be coming back

Stopped in to pick up two dozen doughnuts. I ate the maple Long John and bear claw. They were both fresh and outstanding! Service was great. I highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

This is our family's go-to donut place. We tried out a couple other donut places in Medford, and this one by far has the better tasting donuts. I've not disliked a single donut from here. They all taste great. There usually are long lines here in the morning because of how popular they are, but I don't mind that. The staff can at times come across as a little rushed while helping you, but I think that's just because of the volume of customers that they get all morning. (And I get that--I used to work at a coffee shop that had a constant morning rush and it's easy to get caught up in it when the line is long in both drive thru and in store.) Overall, I give it five stars for consistent deliciousness, hard working employees, and maintained quality of their yummy donuts. read more

Doughnuts are decent, but the price is way too high, 1dozen mixed with six filled and six regular $22.00. Especially when the board said $16.50 for that dozen. I guess the employee wanted a tip. read more

No wonder their sign says short staffed. I mean, who would want to work for a woman like that? Horrible customer service, who even treats people like that? Holy....Below par donuts, if you can even get any. "We're out of that, we're out of that, where out of that," Um, ok, do you even make donuts? If you can make it out to Puck's, go there, support a business that cares about their workers and their customers. read more

These are the best donuts I've had in my entire life. The glazed twist, maple bar and glazed buttermilk bar are my personal favorite. I've only had once or twice that they were sold out of my favorites, and that was when I went later in the day. It's worth the wait if there is a line! read more

Always close early. Not once have we experienced it staying open until listed closing hours. Listed as open until 6 sign says 4. Also, an hour before they closed they only have a few donuts couldn't make a dozen of mixed or any. Literally only had 5 donuts. Other times we've gone there and there completely out. Not one donut. Will never try again. Tried many times in past year and half. read more

Third time in a row the donut country has been sold out of my favorite bacon maple bars. It doesnt matter what time i go. Today it was shortly after 8am. Seriously thinking of never stopping here again. If the business is always out of these why dont they make more? And why are you starting up a food truck location of you cant keep up with the orders now? Sooo disappointing!! read more

Donuts are fine maybe a bit oily in some cases but the service is a little lacking. The kids behind the counter are not always the friendliest and tend to be a little curt with customers read more

Decent donuts but definitely not worth the 30 minute wait. Jelly donuts are ok. Raspberry filling can be improved rather than the processed stuff. Custard and lemon is good. The best things on menu are the specialty items like apple fritter, bear claw, etc. but in general i would go to any other place for a donut bar. Also to note is that I've asked for a receipt the times I've visited but they just give the CC statement but never a receipt of the food I bought? When I buy over half a dozen, I just want to see what I bought lol read more

Fresh every day, great service, down home vibes, best donuts you'll have hands down. Always cool seeing them doing community events too. This place is a joke. They sell out of all their good donuts before 8 am and don't make more. This..is..a..donut..shop..!!!!! Make more!!!! The employees are horribly rude and couldn't care less of your business. There's no menu on the drive thru and they are so rude about it when you dont know what you want. I dont even understand this place. Go to Puck's!!! They are so nice and so good and have what you want (though they also sell out of crullers early too but at least have everything else like basic sprinkle donuts!) Ive been waiting to try one of these apple cider donuts for two years now and they sell out of these also before 8 am! Just make more idiots!!! read more

Visiting from CA. Good donuts, friendly service and quick considering how busy they were. Cake donuts were on the small side but taste great. read more

This was my favorite donut shop. But I was really disappointed yesterday. I purchased a dozen donuts, six glazed and six raspberry jelly filled. The freshness and taste were great as always but someone doesn't know how to fill the jelly donuts. Three jelly donuts had barely a trace of jelly and the other three had a thumb nail size of jelly. When you spend over ten dollars for a dozen donuts you'd expect better. See photo. I still had to give it three stars for taste alone. read more

Hubby and I tried the drive-thru at 10:30 on a week day morning. They were out of all of the best sellers - donut holes, raisin squares, bear claws, apple fritters, maple bars, chocolate old fashioned, buttermilk bars.....the list goes on. I realize this is considered "late" morning, however, this is a shop that sells only donuts, to be out of all of your best sellers this early is definitely bad for business. We were not impressed. The 2 donuts we did get were passable, but not worth the effort to try again. We used to be loyal DC customers, but the donut quality and service has definitely declined. Luke's Bakery on Roberts Road has donuts and assorted pastries that are consistently superb, plus he does custom orders. We'll be taking our business there from now on. read more

Despite how popular Donut Country was, I can say I've had much better donuts elsewhere. The dough was not light and fluffy like yeasted dough should be. The service was super friendly and they had a steady stream of customers the whole time we were there, but I love yeast donuts that are a heavenly dream of soft fluff, but these ones weren't suited to my expectation. The buttermilk donut was okay, but it was a bit plain and there wasn't anything about it that made me want to keep coming back to it. I liked the idea of the maple bacon bar, especially after just having tried Voodoo Donut in Portland, but the original was definitely better than this one because of the base dough problem. The coffee is cheap and if you dine in, it's $0.25 less than if you do a take out coffee. There was plentiful seating and they have a pretty nice bathroom. It's a decent place to hang out for a little while, so I recommend this Donut Country in lieu of a cafe if you're inclined to a different atmosphere every so often. Also, they do take credit cards, but there's a $0.25 charge!! read more

Went early in the morning, sign said "hot now". Got my bear claw and cream filled and both were cold. And not very good. Not sure how a place that only sells donuts can get it so wrong but whatever. Service was good! Went through the drive though and guy was nice. read more

I guess my standards are higher than those folks who give them high marks. The donuts are just like any others, but really it's the counter help that needs to be flushed. These young ladies would rather not be working, is my only guess. One nearly TOSSED my change to me the other day, which was "the final straw", for me. I'm done with DC. Instead of going out of my way, I'm going to be physically healthier and emotionally happier by just avoiding them from now on. read more
