Great tasting donuts! And really good prices too! I had big plans on making a donut cake for my boyfriends birthday, and the donut shop around my corner ironically was closed! So I ended up driving 20 mins just to get fresh donuts here, and WOW I was greatly impressed! So fresh, Soft, and not too doughy!!! I dislike places like dunkin, and was greatly impressed with this shop! I now will drive out of my way anytime I want fresh donuts!! Greatly recommended! Thanks guys! read more

Best donuts EVER,they are so soft and stay soft and fresh for days, the also have a delicious ham and cheese croissant

These are the best donuts I've ever had, and they surely beat Krispy Kreme by a landslide. These donuts are fluffy like a cloud, and sweetened to perfection. It's a family-run business, which is all the more a reason to support it over some corporate donut factory. 10/10 quality, and charm. read more

I absolutely love this place. Krispy Kreme is definitely second now that I've found them!!! Their donuts are airy and full of flavor. My favorite is the coconut and pig in a blanket with the cheese melted in it. You should give them a try, I guarantee you will enjoy it. read more

Best donuts in Murfreesboro by far. This is a family owned business, if you prefer that to the big box places. Their prices are great too. Highly recommended read more

I got here a little earlier than usual (11:30 instead of noon 45) and saw ham and cheese croissants. I bought 3, got out to the car, my husband and number one son grabbed one each. Munching. Reverential silence, perhaps a small moan from my husband. More swift munching sounds and both of them, sitting in the front, cut their eyes around at me. No words needed. I went back in and bought the rest that were in the case -- 6. They were still warm, just the right amount of ham inside and melty cheese. The croissant shell was light, flaky, and as delicious as the donuts. My husband was unhappy that I left them with my mom and dad (I kind of am, too.). There's always next Saturday...... read more

The best donuts in all of Nashville when it comes to traditional donut shop style donuts! And I was on the hunt let me tell you. Sooooo soft and light! read more

Hands down... best donuts around. Makes Donut Country taste like Dunkin' Donuts. (Dunkin' Donuts taste bad) They are light, fluffy, melt in your mouth, and not overly sweet. They are much better than those sugar dipped things you get at Krispy Kreme. I would even put them above VooDoo Donuts. (If you don't know voodoo donuts, then you don't know donuts) And yes, I drive from Nashville just for a taste of these delicious morsels. I recommend the regular chocolate. The Apple Fritter is also delicious when they cook it right. (I will admit that every once in a while they over cook the fritter). read more

This place by far is the best place for donuts. I try to go early on the weekends so l can get a better selection cause they sell out really fast. My personal favorite l would say are the classic glazed donuts. I could personally eat a dozen of them with some milk. They are just soft, fluffy, moist, and not too sweet. One bite and you trust me you will be hooked. I love the strawberry and the lemon jelly ones as well. This place is definitely a must try and it's not too expensive. You will be walking in and out with a box of donuts like l do everytime. read more

Best donuts I've ever had, super soft and delicious ! I'd choose over any donut place !

This is my favorite donut place in Murfreesboro. They always serve my donut how I like it. I'm a picky donut eater and I am not really a fan of too much sweet, so I prefer to go to this one because they serve what I'm looking for. My favorite is their ham & cheese croissant and pig in the blanket! Especially out of the oven! yum! The staff is great and friendly. I always recommend this place to my friends who live around the area just because it is so delicious. Been going to this donut place for 2 years now. No regrets read more

Had the best fluffiest donut here ever! Oh my! Def recommend!! I did not get to try pigs in blanket as I wanted to, but I got a regular glazed, cinnamon roll, Bavarian Kreme, and apple fritter! Definitely worth the extra calories! read more

I'm visited my Murfreesboro for work and I just grabbed a cup of coffee at a local coffee shop and thought a doughnut would be great with the coffee, so I turned to my faithful travel companion, Ms.Yelp, and she recommended several local places. This place was tops on her list, and I just tasted why! The doughnuts were some of the best I've ever had. They were light and airy with just the right amount of flavor. I'm hoping they don't talk back like the Dunkin Donuts do. You know what I mean? Donuts that remind you for several hours later that you had eaten them. This place has a minimum charge of $5 on CC's, so you'll end up have to buy more than a half dozen (I bought 7 and have only 1 left, although it's about to disappear too). While I was paying I could see the young lady in the back making what looked like hot dogs wrapped with dough and cheese. Might have to come back for those! read more

When I say I love donut palace, I loveeee donut palace. Hands down the best donut shop in town. Their donuts are very light and not too sweet. My favorites are the original glaze and chocolate glaze. And don't forget about the croissant items. Those are very yummy too! read more

Best donuts I've ever had. They're classic and extra fresh everyday. The only thing I dislike is that they run out too fast! Would absolutely choose this over any other donut place. read more

The donuts are great-5 stars, but this review is based on the consistency of their product, ease of getting into the parking lot/shop from across the street is annoying-off a busy street; and the small parking lot. The family operates the shop; friendly service. We visit this place frequently. The size of the donuts seems to be a bit smaller after their recent family trip. Their donuts aren't overly sweet-which is why we stop in frequently, like Donut Country, or other chain donut places and are reasonably priced. They offer the basic or classic flavors though; not following new trends or new flavors etc etc. So don't go in expecting fancy donuts and get ugly. read more

Yummy! Hard choices with apple fritters, savory flaky croissants, and more. Great value for some of the best bakery goodies!

We were passing through Murfreesboro on our way to Florida and stopped at Donut Palace for breakfast. WOW! Great doughnuts! There was a short line and it moved quickly. It was obvious they had been busy because there were quite a few empty spots on the doughnut trays. I ordered the coconut and Boston Cream filled. My husband had glazed and maple frosted. These doughnuts are super light and SO yummy! My only complaint was the filling in the Boston Cream filled doughnut. It was more like pudding than a light filling. I wouldn't order it again, but everything else was perfect. read more

Best donuts but the apple fritters are the best I have ever eaten I try to buy a dozen at a time read more

Ham and cheese croissants are one of the best sandwiches in town. Best donuts in the 'boro.

For the price I paid, I definitely think I got ny money's worth. The donuts are good, but don't knock it out of the park for me. The employees were friendly, polite, and got me my order in a respectable amount of time. So yeah, overall, I can't complain. read more

The Apple fritter was raw, the chocolate icing was funky and not even chocolate, the cream inside of the Boston was sour, and the jelly donut had a solid 1/2 tablespoon of jelly. While their prices are cheaper than competitors, it isn't even worth the listed amount. I had 1 and a half dozen of these donuts mind you. The only reason they earn two stars is because the maple donut was somewhat good from a curiosity perspective. In all fairness I have had worse, but I cannot remember when. read more

This small, family-owned establishment offers a classic array of doughnuts, from fruit-filled to cake. What makes these doughnuts special is their magical lightness. They're so light and fluffy.. that you must have another. Immediately. With coffee. Don't take my word for it, go and find out yourself (between the hours of 6am and 2pm of course). read more

I was looking for the best donut on our way through town on vacation. My wife wasn't very happy because she doesn't like breakfast at all let alone a donut. Well I went in and bought two ham and cheese croissants and a dozen mixed donut (for less than $10) along with coffee and milk for the kids. My wife was besides her self with how good everything tasted. We all enjoyed our treats for the next 600 miles. The donuts are light and delicious. The filled one have more filling to them tan donuts. I can't wait to drive through Tennessee again so that I can stop. This place is amazing! read more

When i feel like eating my feelings, this is the place to go! Salt, sugar, fat, and all that good yummy stuff my mom used to beat out of my mouth. I won't apologize for how much I can get down on this place. Thanks for opening early and healing the holes in my heart. read more

Listen, if you just have one chance in the 'boro to go get a donut, go to Donut Palace. The apple fritters are light and soft on the inside, with a delicous, slight crunch on the outside. The ham and cheese croissants are as good as anything you'd get in Paris, France. I mean, I had a croissant in Montmartre once, and it just didn't hold up to the ham and cheese one here in the 'boro. French pastry chefs ain't got nothing on Donut Palace. read more

Read about it on Yelp- so we went today! The only bad thing was they were almost out of donuts! Every tray was about empty. My wife did get a ham and cheese croissant and she said it was delicious! After hearing her rave and rave about how good it was-I wanted to get one but they ran out before I could get to the counter again. I wanted the famous coconut donut but they were out. The crumb cake donut I did get was delicious. The whole time we were there people were lined up for donuts! The place was clean-the staff was very friendly and helpful and their prices are really good. We are going back earlier next week to beat the rush! read more

These are my favorite donuts ever. They go quickly, but don't be discouraged. If you ask for something that isn't there, they might have it getting ready in the back and they will bring them out for you. These donuts are super soft. Light and airy. There aren't Krispy Kreme donuts where the icing harshly cracks off when you pick it up. Theirs are delicate. I would recommend trying their maple donut. It's absolutely delicious and my all-time favorite. read more

Amazing. A little out of the ordinary and not your traditional type American style doughnut store. They didn't have some American standards that we are used to like a cruller or a Bismarck/longjohn. But what they lacked in variety certainly made up with in quality. The apple fritter I had was crispy on the outside and still warm and gooey on the inside. The butter cream was incredibly light and fluffy. Coffee was pretty good too. read more
