Everyone got to the donuts before I was able to snap a pic! lol

I think it's time for an update from 6 years ago! Donut Palace still remains my #1 donut spot in Rutherford County! I'm not a huge donut fan but the ones here are so light and fluffy, I can eat more than one without getting an upset stomach lol. I like to go a little later around 9am ish because they have their cinnamon roll donuts! Around 5am when they're first open they usually do not have them. Their apple fritters are to die for!!! You must try them even if you're not an apple fritter fan, because let me tell you, I hate apple pies, fritters, etc...but everyone raves about them so I had tried them one day and have been hooked! The original glaze are also our go to! The service here is always great! The older couple are always super friendly! Their son is very friendly too! Their entire family is great! Good people! Don't be scared if you see a long line out the door. They move super fast! Super adorable! This will always be my go to place!

The classic local donut shop with classic donuts... Seasonal flavors are creative and delicious but the traditional flavors are the true sign of a good donut shop and they do them RIGHT.

Donut Palace is the best Donut shop in Murfreesboro by far! I absolutely love this place. Many people prefer Donut Country, but not me. I love the ham & cheese croissants, the maple glazed, the old fashioned, and the plain donuts here. The dough melts in your mouth and they are always delicious

The best donut place in the boro. I usually just go for the original glaze. I ordered my wife an Apple fritter because other reviewers recommended it. She loved it. I am not an Apple pie guy but this was not bad. It was crispy and crunchy. My little guy loves the donut holes.

When I read the reviews about the melt in your mouth pillowiness I new I had to try this place...let me just tell you...melt in your mouth and pillowy is the right and accurate way to describe their glazed donuts! They are amazing and dangerous The old fashioned is even light for a cake donut. Apple fritter is my husbands favorite and they are delicious! I'd prefer a little more crisp to them but they are great and my husband was very happy with them.

A friend shared a donut with me today and it was INCREDIBLE. I left and headed to Donut Palace to check it out at 12:30pm not expecting a lot of selection available. This place has been around for about 10 years...sadly I am just discovering them now. Even at this late hour there was a lot to choose from and I loved that they box half-dozen versus dumping them in a bag. I picked up a half-dozen assorted and noticed they also have Kolaches so I grabbed one to snack on. The Kolaches was really good and lasted all of three bites. One of the benefits of being single, you can take a bite out of each donut to sample them. So when I got home I did a taste test and I'm telling you...these were the softest and best flavored donuts I have had in a very long time. Not overly sweet, great flavors (devils food, cinnamon, maple, raspberry, etc.), not greasy, and so light and soft. The service was quick and the lady who took care of me was very nice. This is now my donut and Kolaches spot!!! P.S. I know...one of the donuts did not make it to the photoshoot. It was a raspberry jelly one and it fell out of the box and into my belly before the camera got the shot

By far the best donut shop in Murfreesboro! Reminds me of all the great little mom-and-pop donut shops in Texas. So good!

I'm so happy this location opened!! Elevated donuts,…read moredefinitely not your regular donut. They have monthly flavors as well as their menu's staples. Also paleo options. This location doesn't have any sitting options but there is some outdoor sitting in this plaza. As far as service, everyone has always been polite and helpful.

I'd had 5 Daughters on my Nashville bookmark collection for a long time. When I saw there was a…read morelocation in Murfreesboro during a recent visit, I knew I had to grab some treats. This location is in a nice shopping area, though parking is fairly limited. It looks like the shop might be able to be open air/it has large windows that look like they open, but it was chilly and rainy during my visit so they were shut. The inside was clean and an employee greeted me politely and seemed eager to help or answer questions. They have mini and regular sizes of donut; the regular sized ones are quite large. I imagine minis would be good to try a lot of flavors at once. They do have an impressive array of creative flavors. I think they have some flavors that stay the same every month and then additionally monthly special flavors. These are more like cronuts than traditional donuts; they have many layers of flakey pastry. I love donuts like this! They're rolled in sugar and then filled with cream and covered in glaze. They're decadent! Given this is such a popular growing brand, they were out of a few items and the counter looked a little sparse. I was also surprised to find that there really weren't any yummy aromas or baking smells in the shop. It didn't smell unpleasant at all or anything, just not like a bakery. I can't help but imagine perhaps the donuts are brought in after being prepared elsewhere. Even if that's the case, though, the product really didn't suffer for it. I got their take on a Samoa donut and a sea salt chocolate cream donut and brought them home to share with my husband. They were both incredibly rich...but also quite delicious. I liked them both and it's hard to pick a favorite. If pressed, I'd maybe go the salted chocolate cream donut, simply because it was a little different than what I expected but in a good way. It wasn't too sweet or too salty and the cream had a fantastic texture. I'd happily return to try other flavors. Maybe in the future I'll get to visit the original location! That would be fun.

I've encountered this issue multiple times, so it is no longer a one-off mistake…read more On several visits, I've tried to order donuts that were clearly displayed in the top row of the display case, only to be told they're not available for sale. If they're not for sale, why are they displayed where customers are expected to choose? It's confusing and frustrating. Additionally, the donuts in the display case are frequently mislabeled. I ordered items based on the posted name, only to be told the donut I requested is out of stock. That defeats the entire purpose of having a labeled display case. As a customer, I expect the display to accurately reflect what is available for purchase. Repeated inconsistencies like this make the ordering process inefficient and erode trust in the presentation. I genuinely enjoy the product, but the operational issues around display accuracy and availability need attention. I have already submitted a formal complaint to Krispy Kreme and waiting on their response.

The little drive-through lady did have a little hard time understanding us but no biggie and as we were leaving, we parked to get some pictures of the donuts and a lady beside us asked us if we were from around here and she gave me a fundraiser card where I can buy a dozen of donuts and get a dozen of donuts, free so hey, it's shaping up to be a really good day and by the way, this was an unscheduled birthday stop, my husband said tell the said tell the truth. What Happened was the Krispy Kreme is right next-door to stop number 4. Stop number 4 was 5 minutes till opening and KK had a sale on a dozen for $12.
