    A box containing stale Donuts

"Made fresh here daily" is an absolute lie. We got an assorted dozen of donuts this morning for our crew at work, and they were hard as freakin rocks. 2-3 days old minimum. They were so dry I literally almost choked trying to swallow a bite. Nobody liked them. People tried, they were just not edible. $15 right in the trash. Don't lie and say your product is made fresh daily and then turn around and sell leftover stale crap. Nobody wants day old donuts. Don't bother with TJ's Donuts, just go down the road to Krispy Kreme or Donut Country. Just to round out the review, the ambiance is about as dull as their donuts, as it's located inside a gas station. 1 and done. Hard pass on returning.

Really good donuts! My son thought they were better than Donut Country. We were not a fan of the chocolate croissants though.

We ordered 2 iced breve lattes, our daughter got some juice from the cooler, and we ordered 4 donut options to split between 3 of us. We didn't care for the brand of espresso they used - it's really floral and just wasn't what we prefer. I think the shots were pulled right, we just didn't care for that roast. And the donuts...we got maple, King Kong, blueberry-lemon, and vanilla. The maple and vanilla tasted almost identical - just sweet on sweet on sweet. The King Kong was better - it had thick, smoky bacon on top that at least gave it another dimension. The last one we got was the blueberry-lemon. This was the favorite for all of us - you could taste both flavors and the lemon was tart enough to cut through some of the sweetness. Additionally...these were VERY expensive. 4 donuts, 2 iced lattes, and a bottle of juice was $50! I had been looking forward to trying this place for a long time and it was just disappointing. I know, obviously, donuts are sweet by nature, but these were just ONLY sweet...and too sweet for us. The store is beautiful and I love the concept, but Five Daughters was a miss for us.

We had 3 sandwiches-1 Chicken Sandwich and 2 BYO Breakfast croissants; 1 apple fritter; 1 cinnamon…read moreroll, and 1 old fashioned glazed donut; 1 medium Latte. Coffee was excellent!!! I had vanilla and hazelnut syrup added and almond milk instead of dairy. It didn't need anything else added. Not too sweet and very smooth. I ordered everything through the website with drive thru pick up. Estimated time for preparation was 20 to 30 minutes, however, I arrived in about 14 minutes and it was ready. The croissant was a little dry for me though it was nice and hot with a fresh fried egg sausage, bacon and cheddar cheese. My son said the chicken for his sandwich was a little dry but overall it was also pretty good. I am biased when it comes to cinnamon rolls as I have a favorite place here locally. Was not a bad taste just not what I prefer. I went between breakfast and lunch so I was able to get directly in line at the drive-through and not have to wait. Still not a bad spot for a combination of items available with pretty quick service. The only reason for reducing from five stars to four stars was the dryness of some of the food. Otherwise, very friendly service and still a good place to visit.

Food It's just wasn't working for me. The gravy reminded me…read moreof packaged gravy. No sausage pieces in it. The biscuit was ok. Tried the bowl with grilled chicken and everything was hot and fresh but was bland IMO. Just needed some salt & pepper to set it off. Then the cheese was just thrown on top and not melted. I will say the matcha latte was amazing! Creamy, nutty (added pistachio syrup), and VERY hot. Service Exceptional! Cashier was patient as I had a lot of questions (first time visit). Food came to the table very quick! Ambiance It's a lot bigger inside, tall ceilings. I like how you can see through the glass to where I would assume the pastries are being made. Would I go back? Maybe for the brew but not for the brunch. Just felt like the biscuit and the gravy should've been scratch made. Maybe they were but they definitely were lacking flavor. The scramble was cooked really well but you gotta add that seasoning. It really felt like 2 different businesses under one roof
