If I could give 0 stars, I would. They'll try to overcharge you, so make sure you always check your receipt. I ordered a small coffee and a regular croissant that should only cost $2, the same combo I always get, but the cashier added some "strawberry" item for $4 and said "it's the same price for everything." Definitely not true, since I was just here a few days ago and paid $7. This time it came out to $9. This isn't the first time it's happened and I let it slide the first time. Total rip-off. Be careful, and honestly, save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I placed an order via text about 48 hours before I needed them. I provided what text I wanted and in what colors. I, then, received a message about 2 hours before the expected time for pick up that the order was already ready. An extra donut - a heart-shaped one with a candle - was added without cost. They looked (and smelled) so great! I didn't get a chance to taste one because our guests ate them all up, so they must've been delicious. Thank you so much, Donut Masters! We'll definitely be back and I've already started recommending them to friends/family. read more

Visited on Monday, 07/25/22 for the first time. Boyfriend and I wanted to stop by to order breakfast. We ordered the following (to-go, since this place is very small and barely have any seats. I only saw 2 chairs however it was pretty dirty in my opinion): - Ham, Bacon, and Cheese (toasted): $5.50 - Sausage, Egg, Bacon, & Cheese: $5.00 - Medium Iced Coffee: $5.50 [the lady accidentally charged us twice and I payed $11 instead] TOTAL W/ Tax: $23.70 After asking for a copy of a receipt, I realized that the lady charged us 2x for the iced coffee - I brought this up to her and she fixed it by giving me $5.50 back in cash. We waited ~ 10 minutes. As mentioned above, this place is definitely not as clean as other donut places I've been to. While we were waiting, I was looking at their donuts (which seemed super tasty and delicious - then I saw a FRUIT FLY inside the donuts and flying around touching and landing from one donut to another. I'm glad I didn't purchase donuts at the time. We really wanted to eat inside however due to the small space, we decided to eat inside the car (better option). Overall 3/5. read more

After seeing all the gorgeous pics of previous orders, I knew that I was great hands. Ordering was super easy! I called the storefront number listed and told them I was interested in ordering letter donuts. This review is long overdue. But I was searching for a place that makes custom lettered donuts for a small graduation get together. I came across Donut Masters and I'm so glad I did! I called in about 3 days before I needed the order and they told me they would be able to make it and gave me a phone number to text my order to. I just told them what phrase I wanted, when I was going to pick them up, what colors I wanted, and they did the rest! The donuts were beautiful and they were a hit- everyone was asking where I purchased them from :) The donuts were fluffy and moist, not overly dry like some other donut shops. The shop itself is in a small plaza and it's not the biggest in size, but how big do you really need a donut shop. The donuts in their case looked good, but I didn't purchase any since I already had my order of donuts. As previous reviews have mentioned- they DO NOT have these fancy lettered donuts made already for display in store. You have to call them ahead of time to place your order. Today I ordered a few donut favorites from Donut Masters. I really enjoyed the chocolate glazed with custard and my wife had the sugar twist. You really can tell when a donut shop changes the oil frequently. Nothing worse than old oil to make a donut have an oily taste. Their prices were very reasonable and a decent selection. I love to support local businesses and this shop is close to other local restaurants and various shops. If you're ever in the area, give Donut Masters a try. I will be back to partake in Apple Fritters. read more

Pleasantly surprised with this small little mom and pop donut shop. Wanted to get happy birthday donuts last minute and they accepted my order the night before I needed them. I just gave them a color scheme and they made their magic happen. They were tasty and moist and better tasting than the big guys like Randy's. And look how beautiful they came out! I will definitely be ordering from them again. Please advise, if you walk into this shop they won't have this style or look on hand. It's just a regular ol donut shop. Was looking for a donut shop really early in the morning and stumbled upon this place for donuts were extremely fresh. And delicious. They also offered croissant sandwiches, and bagels. I got a cup of coffee that was also good freshly brewed. The lady provided excellent service even though my visit was short, the place was small, but very nicely decorated. There's a couple of tables for you to sit down and have your coffee. I took my coffee to go anytime I'm in this area and I'm looking for a fresh doughnut. Someone recommended me to order from this place. Beyond disappointed and very angry. I messaged them on instagram on AUGUST 3RD to order for my 3 year anniversary TODAY (AUGUST 13TH). I got a reply asking me questions, I answered them. When they said," a dozen $30" I only counted 11 but whatever, it was for my boyfriend. Fast forward to today, I called around 6:15am to see what time I can come pick up since I never got a reply about what's the earliest I can pick up and I assumed the order was placed because they replied with "Yes." When I mentioned my order to the guy on the phone, he said I told him Friday. No. I placed the order ON FRIDAY(when they finally replied) for a THURSDAY PICK UP(today). He told me I replied too late? I literally replied within 30 minutes and never even got a reply to my question. After telling him,"I replied almost a week ago, how is that too late??? Silence. Then he told me I only had 11 letters and I needed 12? If I needed an another letter to fulfill my order THEN PLEASE tell me when I'm placing the order. 10 DAYS. I messaged them, 10 DAYS AGO and I got nothing but being blamed for and a minor apology. If you can't fulfill instagram orders then don't have one. PERIOD. read more

Finally, after making me yell and argue with them for probably 3 minutes in front of the whole restaurant, she finally agreed to refund the $3. Horrible service, and dishonest. They tried everything they could to not give me a refund when there was no hash browns and I paid for them. Worst service ever.

I was going through a donut phase when I initially stopped by Old Ferry Donut. And totally worth it! Crème Brûlée is also popular for its delicate, crackly caramelized sugar crust & airy brioche dough that's filled with a rich vanilla custard. Good flavor, but maybe on the older side? Since it's been sitting for awhile, it lost that fresh fluffy texture & was kinda dry. I really liked the Lemon Poppyseed; it's right up there with Butter Pistachio. The lemon glaze is just the right amount of sweet & tart, & the donut was fresh & fluffy! The Raspberry Ring is pretty good, matching that sweet & tart of Lemon Poppyseed, but I like the citrus zing of the latter more. What's different is the former has a raspberry jam filling in addition to a glaze & the latter is just a yeast donut with fruity glaze. Kids didn't say much about Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream... The Plum "Ume" broth was so refreshing and nice. I ate it cold; I probably would have preferred it hot but the is just a personal preference. The Ginger Pork was great. The pork itself was super gingery without being too pungent. The shredded cabbage was super easy to pick up and eat and the side of noodle salad and miso soup were great complements to the meal. I can tell no corners were cut anywhere and that Otafuku puts a little of effort into every meal they prepare. There is great care for all of the preparations and it was a very special meal. I felt like I was in Japan for a second as the feel of the restaurant is very "homey" and the ambiance is a nice cheerful atmosphere.

I'm legally blind and use a guide dog. When I visited Donut Master in January 2025, I was ordered to leave because of my service animal -- a clear violation of disability rights laws. I took the business to small claims court and won a judgment. Telling a legally blind person to leave their guide dog outside is not just discriminatory -- it's dangerous. My guide dog helps me avoid accidents and injuries. If I had complied with the owner's demand, I could have been seriously hurt. I might have ended up suing over a personal injury instead of discrimination. That's how serious this is. No one with a disability should be put in that position. As for the shop itself, it's small -- just one table and four chairs, according to the owner's own testimony. It may feel cramped if you're sensitive to tight spaces. I've attached a photo provided by the owner during the evidence exchange. Seating is minimal. There's now a "Service Animals Welcome" sign posted -- too bad it wasn't there during my visit. Based on my experience, I don't plan to return. I hope the shop has used this situation as a learning opportunity to better understand accessibility and disability rights. They now clarify that service animals are welcome, but emotional support animals are not. I just hope they truly understand the difference. It would be deeply troubling if, for example, a veteran with a PTSD service dog were treated the way I was -- yelled at and told to leave. No one should have to go through that. I had many enlightening nights there in my youth, eating moist donuts in deep philosophical thought. It was easily 150% the size of Apple fritters I had encountered in other donut shops. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and rang me up quickly! They have tons of drink choices in two different refrigerators! If you're waiting for the bus and trying to decide if you have time to run in to grab something quick to eat, you do. They have lots of other options too if you want something warmer.

One thing I didn't realize when ordering online is that there are two locations. I drove to the quieter Gardena shop for pickup, only to find out my order had actually been sent to the Torrance location. Unfortunately, parking in Torrance on a Saturday was pretty stressful. Next time I'll be sure to double-check that I'm placing my order with the Gardena location. Despite the pickup mix-up, the cookies were obviously a crowd-pleaser, and I'd definitely order them again.

It was super moist, not too sweet, and crunchy exterior from the dough and sugar glaze. Nice place to stop by if you're in the area. My three items came to $6.75. The store clerk was super nice.

It's not a bad donut however based on the other review I thought it would be better than Krispy Kreme whose donuts are great because of how light they are. I was expecting a heavenly donut however it was on the heavier side and the lady at the counter charged me a dollar which is pricier than Krispy Kreme. Its a decent donut especially if you want a donut that will fill you up.
