Great donuts! They are a super nice group of people and they have a great maple glaze.

Lets just say I've ordered multiple deliveries on DoorDash and I've done walk ins. These donuts are just what El Cajon needed. I live in Rancho San Diego but when the kids and I are craving some really good Donuts this is are go to place. Even when my coffee was delivered it was piping hot and had creamer and sugars on the side. Donut Bros delivers freshness not some crappy greasy super fried donuts. Before they bought the place, the old donut shop was good but nothing compared to what these men have done to the donuts. It's almost as if they evolved the complexion of what a donut suppose to taste. They made me get adddicted to donuts. I almost never came to the old shack, but once they bought the place, I noticed what they have done to the place. I come here about 3-4 times a week. The ham and cheese is fat and is actually full with ham and cheese. The strawberry and cream cheese is soo moist!! Honestly every donut is to die for literally! Superb! We loved the cake donuts and chocolate twist which was fabulous. Heads up that their bear claw is apple cinnamon and not almond! Will be back if we are ever in the area. This is a textbook hole in the wall donut shop. While it's under construction it is somewhat hard to find, but I'm glad I went. One of the brothers helped my girlfriend and I and was extremely welcoming from the jump. Of the selection that they had which was understandably slim given the circumstances of construction and time of day that we had gone. We saw the temporary sign up on the top and assumed it was a new business having never driven down that street before. I'm a sucker for a good unique doughnut. The way their name reads, you would think they wouldn't serve something just traditional. Upon entering we were greeted by a nice young man and said that it wasn't a new business but instead they had just taken over a different one. They seemed to be sold out of several donuts but the ones we did buy were stale. First time coming here since it changed owners and I'm glad I did! I got the kiddos a dozen donuts and those await them after school. I got an apple fritter and a cheese croissant to try for myself. The dude behind the counter offered to warm up my croissant and I am sad that I didn't. If it tasted perfect at room temperature, imagine how stupendous it would have tasted warm? Next time I'll definitely ask them to warm it up. Good tasting donuts. But watch how they charge you. We went in on Sunday February 21,2021 at 8pm and ordered 3 Maple bars and 1 glazed twist. Man said $8.60 for 4 donuts. I paid and left. I thought about it that night and was thinking that was quite a bit for poor donuts.went back the next day and ordered the same thing someone else was working and they only charged me 460 for the same thing. A $3.90 difference.. so pay attention on how they bill you. And I will agree they have good donuts. read more
