Don's is named the best in the Inland Empire for a reason. They'll work on anything from a kid's bike to a 10,000 dollar racing bike. I tried to get a custom frame build at Incycle, another popular bike shop. Simply put, if I would have tried riding the bike they built for me, it would have fallen apart and caused serious injuries. Nothing was done correctly. Not even the brakes were installed properly, and they gave up halfway through, and didn't even try working on my girlfriend's bike,  which had similar specs to mine. They told me to give up on both bikes. I decided to take both bikes to Don's to get built. From the moment I walked in they showed interest in gaining my business. Within a week we were riding our bikes. The head mechanic did a beautiful job on both bikes. Both bikes ride like a dream and have excellent build quality. He answered all my questions and fixed all the concerns I had about my bike, and about my girlfriend's bike. A week later,  I busted 3 spokes on my bike. Instead of charging me an arm and a leg, they offered me less pricey solutions. Another bike shop would have screwed me over and charged me 80 bucks to buy a box of 20 spokes when I only need 3, but not Don's. I live in Glendora, CA, and I am still willing to make the 2 hour long drive in traffic to Rialto for service like this. I've met people who live in LA or Big Bear who make the drive to Don's instead of going to closer bike shops. Save yourself a headache and just go to Don's.  They'll make it right the first time and earn your business for a lifetime. read more

I rarely make comments about service unless I'm truly satisfied. Came to this place last minute since I really needed my front derailleur adjusted..badly. Guy on the pic was truly amazing and I wish I would have gotten his name but I was in a rush. During this time, bike repair can take weeks. This guy took his time and was able to fix my front derailleur in just a lil over 10 mins. Then, he didn't charge me and stated it's on the house. I was blown away. It seems like only yesterday I was in here every day for a week asking a gazillion questions and trying to find the best match to surprise my husband for our anniversary. Can't believe it's already been 5 years! Then about two years later I decided to jump on the Bike riding bandwagon and they were there every step of the way. Scott is the owner and what I admire about him is that he enjoys helping the customers and doing the dirty work just as much as the employees. In the market for a new road bike, I called nearly every shop in California, Arizona, and Nevada inquiring about a specific brand with the right specs and frame size. Due to the national bike shortage, most shops are facing a significantly depleted inventory; I got many responses to check back in within the next few months. When I called Don's Bicycles, Scott (the owner) told me that he didn't have the specific brand in stock, but he would call the company representative directly and see what he could do. He followed through with the rep, and negotiated a great deal to get the bike in the brand, color, and specs I was looking for, all within my price range. Update to my good review Since I last shopped here. When the fake pandemic struck the world, bicycles became scarce because almost all bikes are made in China. Well many bike stores decided to grossly mark up bicycles as they trickled in. Dons was one of them. They marked up all of their inventory and some units were marked up to 100%. I looked around and out of about 25 stores in So Cal only two kept their prices at about MSRP. One of them was a bike store in Hesperia CA on Main ST and the other was a shop in San Diego. Im ashamed of these stores that are taking advantage of a catastrophe to line their pockets. I will never shop at Dons again until they acknowledge what they are doing is wrong. read more

Couple of years back I bought 2 expensive (to me) bikes. Around $600 each . The owner was there and he was the reason I ended up buying both. He was awesome and after visiting a few bike stores I decided Don's was the place. Fast forward to today, I was in need on another bike and decided to go there and get it. Sorry to say that with out the owner the customer service was far from the experience I had the first time. The 2 guys that I talked to seem to be completely uninterested in my business so I got my happy ass out of there and went to upland. The Bike was more expensive there but the guys took the time to talk to me and I ended dropping $550 hard earned dollars for my bike. Customer service makes or breaks a business. I don't think on these times you can afford to dismiss a customer based on a couple of questions asked. Now the bike shop in upland has my money. Sorry Don's but have to teach your guys the same that you practice. Courtesy and smiles even if you don't feel like it. read more

I appreciate how hard the guys at Dons Bikes worked to get my bike to me in time for trip. I left my bike with them and they tried for weeks to get the original OEM part from the manufacturer to repair it without any luck. Finally I asked them to source out a different comparable part on the market to repair my bike as I was leaving town and needed my bike. They came through and called me two days before my trip to pick up my bike. Although I was disappointed at how long it took to get my bike repaired, nearly 6 weeks after dropping it off, I can't blame them as it was the manufacturer and Covid-19 delays. The bottom-line is this: I travel 60+ miles one-way to get to Don's Bicycles in Rialto. Why? Well, first, the High Desert has zero bike shops. Literally. Zero. That's not entirely true, but if you examine the quality of the ONE bike shop up in Victorville, it doesn't even really count as a bike shop. But why go to Don's??? There's a half-dozen bike shops between Cajon Pass and Rialto... Because Don's is the best shop in the Inland Empire, bar none. Remember when you used to have a relationship with the guys at the LBS like you do with your barber or hair stylist? You still get that at Don's. Stop in and chat up the mechanics when you're getting your bike serviced. They'll remember you next time and treat you like the regular you are. Good luck getting that kind of friendly service at a big box store. I once stopped in needing some emergency repairs - like, "can I get this bike back tomorrow?" emergency. Oh, and I came in near the end of the business day. The mechanics pushed their work off to the side, jammed out my repairs, and had my whip race-ready within an hour. Should you expect to be able to come in and get repairs done same day as a normal way of doing business?? Of course not... but there's zero chance I'd be able to get any other LBS to take care of me on such an exceptional basis. In a nutshell, I simply won't take my bike anywhere else. Don's staff know their products, aren't interested in up-selling you into something you don't need, and just want to make sure you enjoy cycling in all its myriad and sundry forms. read more

These guys are awesome!! Both Bryan and Scott were very knowledgeable and helpful. I told them what I planned on doing with a mountain bike 70% street and 30% trials and they showed me several bikes that filled the criteria. They also educated me on why each bike was different and the best bang for my buck would be! I told them I can be a risk taker at times and they showed me the perfect bike! Today was my first trail ride and I am absolutely in love with the bike and the sport! The bike definitely got me through some routes I was not ready for and if it wasn't for the bikes capabilities I would of ate crap hard! Bought my Trek recumbent tricycle here, which the mechanics custom fit with electric motor. My red "Corvette"! Power when I need it to cross city streets, and assist when I am carrying 50 pounds of groceries. Had a tire problem (manufacturer) which was taken care of. Tune ups quickly. Let's talk about THE BEST customer service!!! My family went to breakfast, while at breakfast, one of the employee's tires were stolen off her locked bike out front of the restaurant. She was crying and devastated. We drove over to Don's Bikes and explained the situation to Scott. Shop at orejon bike shop instead. I won't be coming back. These prices SUCK. I paid $20 for a crank puller (already overpriced these cost $10-15 at other shops) only to Come back 15 minutes later with my lower bracket in hand to be told I need to buy yet another tool worth $25 to install the bracket. Dude could have told me from the getgo that it would be $25 for them to replace it for me but he wanted me to spend my money on pointless tools instead. Then when I asked him how much for Him to just install the new lower bracket (NOT A REPLACEMENT cuz I already did all the hard work by removing the crank arms and bracket) he tries charging me the $25 labor fee as if I didn't already do all the labor. These guys are jokes and also the dude at the front was douchey as hell he needs to be more friendly with customers. Spent a lot for two bikes at Don's in Redlands to pay more for a bike tire than two car tires in Rialto. My last visit for anything other than the free tune ups. Also when your bike in for a flat tire or anything else make sure they know there is a hole in your tire that caused it because they may misdiagnosis. $240+ read more

Brought in my bike for derailleur adjustment because it was skipping a cog. I was in and out in 15 minutes. When I got home I cycled through all gears only to realize that it was still "off". I took it back the next morning and was advised that the derailleur arm was bent slightly. Charlie fixed it in about the same amount of time as the day before. This time I rode around the lot to cycle through each gear several times and it was as smooth or better than when it was new. COVID19-Thank you to the team at Don's Bikes for 1. Staying open during these difficult times 2. Keeping customers and staff safe by enforcing distancing guidelines 3. Keeping all of us riders rolling so that we can "ride out" COVID19! Tune up- I don't know if ANY shop offering free tune ups for as long as you own the bike you purchased from Don's. I had a great experience at Don's Bicycles. I purchased a 2017 SE Racing Stu Thompson replica, and I love the bike. While making adjustments to my bike, I watched as the guys took care of every single customer, whether they were browsing, purchasing, or walked in with bikes that needed a new chain, and a few other things. There was no hours or days wait time, they took care of the issues on the spot if it wasn't major work. Everyone there was friendly, and knowledgeable. They have a great selection products, bike racks, add on, and numerous bikes to choose from, especially SE Racing, which you can't get cooler than those. I've bought my son two bicycles, my daughter two bicycles, my nephew one bicycle and myself two bikes because I've went from a hybrid to a road bike and the kids grow out their bikes eventually.
