Easy parking right in front of the shop along the sidewalk. He has parts and completete bikes for sale at reasonable prices, even a couple of tandems (2 seaters). I was greeted quickly and given an estimate of $85 for the basic repairs I needed, a new chain and the gear wires. He only accepts cash, so I had to go to an atm nearby. He was done by the time I returned. I"ll be coming back here to have a bike basket installed to the front.

Eddie quoted me $15 and put it right up in the rack while we waited. He ended up spending way longer than I'm sure he had expected to because a few other links were messed up. In the end, he fixed it and as he was taking the bike off the rack he saw the handlebars were a little loose. Without thinking twice he loosened up the goose neck, made a few adjustments and then tightened everything up. Then he took n the bike over to the air and made sure the tire pressures were right. I told him to charge me more than the $15 he quoted, but he refused. These guys and gals at AV bikes are great. They know what they're doing and treat you like a customer should be treated. They've earned my business and I will send anyone who asks for a good bike shop their way.

During that time, communication was extremely poor. They rarely answer the phone and did not provide updates about the status of the bike, leaving us to repeatedly try to get information ourselves. When we finally picked up the bike, we discovered that something else was now broken that had not been an issue when we brought it in. We called the shop to explain what happened and asked them to look at it, but instead of trying to address the concern, they were dismissive and unwilling to help. What made the experience even worse was the way we were spoken to. The communication was rude and condescending rather than professional or customer-focused. Mistakes and delays happen, but good customer service means communicating with customers and taking their concerns seriously, especially when a bike comes back with a problem it didn't have before. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Jonathan came out and confirmed that that was indeed true. Everything seemed to be going well. Jonathan was very friendly and polite. When it came time for the estimate, he told me it was going to be just under $3,000. That seemed like quite a lot to me for just changing out a blower motor and a capacitor. He also told me that my Rheem furnace couldn't take just any old blower motor and he had to order one special. He said that his company doesn't deal with Rheem because their parts are hard to get. I reluctantly agreed to the repair, which he said would probably take place the next day. Later, he called and said the part wasn't going to arrive for a whole week. This was during one of the hottest weeks of the year in Southern California and I certainly didn't want to be without air conditioning, which runs through my furnace and needs the blower motor. I asked him what my other options were. He told me the only other option I had was to get a whole new system. He explained that he could install the system in only 2 days time or I could wait a whole week and have him repair the blower motor. He also mentioned a 10 year warranty with 1 or 2 years of service from his company. I asked him about the brand and quality of the Furnace that he intended on selling me, which was going to be almost $8,000. He told me it was better than my current system brand and I asked to get it in writing so I could do some research. After not receiving anything in writing I called his company and requested the same thing from them. Shortly after the conversation with his company I received an email specifying the make and model of the new furnace. I researched online and discovered a few interesting things. Number one, Jonathan had lied to me about Rheem parts. I found out from my online research that Reem takes Universal parts and I would not have had to wait until the next week to receive a blower motor that would fit. I also discovered that blower motors and capacitors cost nowhere near $3,000 to install. And finally, the brand of the new furnace that was recommended by Jonathan was nowhere near the quality of the Rheem furnace that I already owned. I canceled the job immediately with the company and again with Jonathan when he called me to find out what was going on. I am still waiting for my refund on the deposit! My contractor friend and I went to an HVAC store and purchased a universal blower motor and capacitor for $180... and installed it ourselves in a couple hours. The system is working perfectly. I don't recommend this business at all. I'm completely confused on why they have such a good rating on Yelp, which is why I picked them to begin with. This was a clear case of trying to take advantage of an old lady in a wealthy neighborhood. Shame on them!! Update: I received a full refund of my deposit and the service fee was completely waived. I got a nice apology from the owner and a manager.

I honestly wish I had taken before pictures of the machetes and axes he restored and sharpened for me -- because when I saw the finished result, all I could say was, "WOW!!!" For service and prices The difference in the blades was unbelievable. They looked completely restored. Not only did he sharpen them to perfection, but he also went the extra mile and cleaned up oxidized areas. You can tell he takes pride in his work and pays attention to detail. All I've got to say is this guy is GOOD. I'll definitely continue using him for all my sharpening needs and highly recommend him to anyone looking for professional, high-quality service.

I've been coming to this bike shop for over 10 years, and I can't say enough good things about the team. They are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help, whether it's a simple question, a bike purchase, or a service issue. Ian has always been my go-to guy. One of the best examples of that was when I was struggling to teach my son how to ride a bike. I was frustrated and running out of ideas, but Ian stepped in with advice and encouragement that made all the difference it took less than 30 mins in the Dons parking lot for him to get the hang of it. Once my son learned, he took off--and now he regularly rides 15-20 mile bike rides with me. That's a memory I'll always be grateful for. Scott is also fantastic and has always been a pleasure to work with. The entire staff creates an environment that is welcoming, encouraging, and completely pressure-free. They genuinely want to help you find what works best for you. Getting my bike serviced here has always been easy. Even during busy periods when service turnaround times were over two weeks, they provided me with a loaner bike so I could keep riding. That level of customer service is hard to find these days. Every time I walk through the door, I feel like I'm at home. Even though I no longer live in the same city, I still make the drive because the service, expertise, and people are worth it. I am 6 bikes in with them from road, hybrids, and mountain bikes and I don't plan on switching up. The way I see it, you don't fix what's not broken. Will do my best to keep this short but i am BEYOND THRILLED with the service I received from Don's Bicycles! I am a triathlete from Utah who was searching for a Felt AR3 road bike in a size 48. Long story short the bike could not be ordered until the 2019 model was ready so I was on a mission to find one at a local shop. I had been calling for a few days bike shops in Utah and the surrounding states, and some international bike shops. I happened to call Don's and told them my story. Instead of sending me on my way with a "sorry we don't have that. good luck" they made it their project to help me find this bike. I was a complete stranger who they didn't know and the treated me like I was family and worked for over a week contacting all their people to find this bike. Turns out that bike in that size for sale is no where to be found, so they hooked me up with a Cervelo. I always felt like they were all on my team to support me. The bike just came in today and I have been considering flying to Rialto just to meet and thank those who helped me, plus have them assemble and fit me to the bike. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Don Bicycle Shop in Rialto, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. What truly impressed me was when they discovered that my crank set was part of a manufacturer recall. I am blown away at the service provided by this store. Scott held a bike aside for me which has been a challenge getting my hands on for a long time. He built the bike for me the same day it arrived and notified me immediately when it was finished. He figured out I was a big fan of SE Racing and gave me some collectibles. He didn't have to do that. Means a lot to me. There is also someone by the name of Damon who works there who is amazing too. As a courtesy, Damon is shipping me some accessories to avoid me having to drive over an hour to get them. He also threw in some extras at no charge. These guys really know how to win a customer for life. Great job guys! I don't care about how far away you are, I won't be going anywhere else for my bicycle needs. read more

Scott, the owner, completely went out of his way to make my niece's Christmas wish come true! My sister couldn't find the bike she wanted anywhere, they were either sold out or on back order but Scott had it available and in the color she wanted! We live on the east coast and he had that bike shipped to my sister in time for Christmas! He also sent my sister step by step videos so she was able to assemble the bike easily! Cant say enough good things about Dons! I started doing my homework on road bikes and this was the first place I went as soon as I walked in Paul was so helpful with test rides and every question I had. Then I went in yesterday and saw the same Jamis sport I test rode that was $650 a month before that was reduced to $450 I couldn't ask for a better deal on my first road bike! There was a great selection and I really enjoyed my mountain bike while I was in college. The shop has been there since 1959. It's a family business with a great reputation. I went there to get a new shifting lever for my all terrain bike. I was advised that it would be wise to replace the front one as well since my bike is 20 years old. I ignored scott's advice and 2 weeks later when I was riding on the Santa Anna Trail, my front shifter went out. He has a tremendous amount of experience in his field, and will always steer you right. read more
