Tasty donair place. Parking is available on Canada Way. The place looks pretty dumpy and plain. Nothing wrong with that though. Staff were friendly. My order came quickly. They have wraps (falafel) as well as platters and combos. I had the lamb platter. Presentation is ghetto. The platter had a hummus and salad section. Lamb slices were served on rice, with tzatziki and hot sauce. Hit the spot. Pretty decent portion size too. Wouldn't mind coming back here and there to get my fix.

$46 inc. tip for a chicken donair and 2 lamb platters. The food and service here is terrible! When I first arrived at 7pm on a week night there was only one other customer waiting in the store and 2 staff. No one greeted me. I stood there for 10 minutes until they grunted, "what can I get you." They did not ask me which of the three sauces I would like on the lamb platter, they just started pouring all three sauces on, slopping it on fast with a ladle. I had to quickly stop her from putting a huge splash of hot sauce on one of the platters. The food was meh and the "Greek salad" in particular was awful! A little bit of feta cheese and dressing and soggy cucumbers! Disgusting! Where were the peppers shown in their menu photos?! The rice was dry and a mix of white and yellow coloured basmati. The humous was runny and tasted awful - and I'm a huge fan of all types of humous normally. I also ordered a sorry looking piece of baklava which they forgot to put in the bag! My loss, I guess. The service here is terrible - do not go here! This place has really gone downhill since I started coming here several years ago.

This is the kind of food you could eat all the time. The rice platters are my go-to because they have everything to make a complete and filling meal. Rice, meat, Greek salad, hummus and pita. I can rarely finish in one seating, meaning I get to snack on leftovers later on. The servers are always pleasant and quick. Not much decor if you are eating in, but this is meant to be a take out place anyway.

My chicken donair tasted spot on. Very pleased with it. Perfection. Will be returning for sure

We were craving donairs for lunch and remembered seeing this place on our daily commute so decided to give it a try. Reviews on yelp were divided but don't fret! I'll keep this one fair and simple. The regular size is the perfect portion for me (the size of a 6" sub but so much more meat) and at an incredible price of $6.99! It was decent and I have zero complaints at that price; you just can't get lunch for $6.99 most places these days. So there you have it! We've had some of the best donairs during our time in Calgary so it would take quite a bit to rate any place 5 stars.

Rice platter with chicken. I love the rice!! It's tender and yummy, it's not plan rice. They serve the food very fast which I like it! Easy to park in front of the store, it's a bonus when I want a quick take out my meal!

They have an electronic waitlist system now - sign up on the screen inside. The menu was massive last time i was here, now its even bigger its kind of ridiculous. You are bound to find something you like. Food is consistent. All good, nothing blowing your mind but very solid. Their prices seemed to have gone up but their portions are enormous. A meal combo is too much food for one person. This time we ordered: mixed beef dry noodle - has a sichuan peppercorn spicy sauce with beef shank/tripe/tendon, side of soup with fish/meatballs and some veg. Solid 4/5 for both. beef hotpot - comes served on a little fuel burner with a side of scallion oil noodles and 2 veg sides. Also solid 4/5. A ton of food. TW popcorn chicken (salt pepper fried chicken) - good. well seasoned, juicy thigh chunks. Hot + sour soup - this was mediocre. lacking any depth of flavour. Not terrible, but nothing special. pea flower lemon passionfruit tea drink - average. This amount of food will easily feed 4. Our party of 2 took a lot home. Total bill with tax and tip was just under $100. note: credit card has a 2% surcharge. Service was just right for a place like this. They promptly took your order and brought you tea. Easy to flag them down but they didnt approach you beyond that. Everyone was nice. I would definitely keep coming back. Its an excellent casual "jack of all trades" Chinese/Taiwanese place.

Extremely busy when we went for early dinner on a Sunday. Food: We got 2 appetizers and 2 noodles. For us, we enjoyed mostly everything but the biggest let down was the broth in our beef noodle soup. It seemed a little bland and missing the depth of flavor I expected. The noodles, toppings, and appetizers were all great. Portions were very large. I do wish the pig ears were ~30% less oily but that can be personal opinion/taste. Service/Ambiance: I would not call this a high class place, expect fast and direct service. The staff also does not have great english but can get by as the menu has numbers (ex. A1, A2, etc.). Price: Prices for things felt a little high but can pass since the portions were quite large. My beef noodle was $20 and the pig ears were $17. Takeout containers was an additional 50 cents and there was a 2% fee on credit transactions Misc: The menu is HUGE, I mean over 100+ items. This can be a pro or a con, lots of variety but I based on our experience with the broth I'm wondering if anything really stands out

The food court itself is full of different Asian cuisines, and this stall definitely stands out. They offer a wide variety of Shanghai-style dim sum, including dumplings, wontons, rice cake, several meat noodle soups, and some combo rice dishes. I ordered the Sichuan Style beef noodle soup, and it was surprisingly delicious and spicy -- the broth was flavorful, and the beef was incredibly tender. Even though it's just a small food court stall, the quality of the dishes makes it worth a visit. If you're already exploring Crystal Mall or craving some quick and tasty Shanghai-style snacks, this place is a solid choice.

Big size and very delicious. I'd ask for extra dipping sauce (or the chill oil if you like spicy). These can get messy if you don't be careful. Take a small bite of the skin first and sip the soup inside before diving in. The soup is very hot, so I usually pour it onto a spoon and drink it from there. #13 is translated as "Steamed Mini Pork Buns" in English and Shanghai Xiaolongbao in Chinese on the menu, which is misleading. When I ordered it last time, it turned out to be the same buns as #14, just steamed instead of deep-fried. They're large and not mini at all like traditional XLB. Personally, I didn't enjoy them as much as the fried version and wouldn't order them again. They tend to stick together and aren't very to-go friendly. #14 is the star here, and it's absolutely worth coming back for.

The pastries are delicious and crafted so beautifully. I came here for hot chocolate festival and the flavours were spot on. A tad sweet but it's hot chocolate. I also tried their limited time sticky rice croissant which had all the umami flavours one could want! Texture of the croissant was crunchy, butter and full of flavour. Sadly, the sticky rice texture mixed with croissant was not the best. The service here is great. Staff are friendly. The only downside to this store is the way their line up system works. They have 2 store areas, connected by the till. It's a bit hard to pass through when there are people waiting in line to pay, waiting on line to order, etc. Just a bit of awkward spacing

The interior feels similar to a food-court style rather than a restaurant. The menus are on a huge laminated piece of paper. The selection is pretty good and they have beef dishes alongside the fish ones, as well as fried meat stripe. There are non-spicy to very spicy options, so it wasn't terrible finding something that fits everyone's spice level. We got 2 large soups to share between 5 people and it was sufficient. The restaurant has free rice refills, which is great. We got the less spicy beef slices option and the sour fish. Each of the large options allow for 4 selectable toppings, such as additional vegetables, enoki, vermicelli, black fungus, bean curd, etc. Everything tasted great! My friends are not a fan of spice so we got the dishes, but I really want to try the spices options next time. Service was okay - the place has QR menus to order with but they were nice enough to let us order in person instead. Food comes very quickly (although the bowls for the fish soup are shallower than they first appear). There are not alot of wait staff so sometimes we have to wait awhile before one is available, but they are very attentive when they do come around.
