    Chicken tortilla soup

First time here and really enjoyed it ,drinks were very good food was delicious and service was excellent! Definitely recommend we had the chicken enchilada and chile relleno combo, chicken tortilla soup, an carne de res en chile colorado.

Nachos Platter! ~$13 This was more than filling and had nacho and shredded cheeses! Shared this between two people.

We came in for a quick bite! Nachos were delicious, Camarones a la Diabla, and Cheese Enchiladas were filling and made well. Service was super fast, friendly, and informative. Our waiter was polite and answered our questions. Ambiance was old school Mexican and we liked the fountain by our table! Family friendly and decorated nicely.

    My Chile Relleno (ala Carte).

So My Partner (Bea Padilla) large Family has many Birthday's in late February early March. We agreed to have Dinner for All the Birthday Gang at Don Chato, Acton California. A Wonderful experience! Great Staff/Service and Great Food. Lots of Parking and Clean Bathrooms plus the Drinks are on Point! Saturday Night was Fun and I would Recommend the Chile Relleno ala Carte and a Bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup!!!

On our way back home from Leona Valley cherry picking we stopped by to have lunch. I found them on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Once we walked in we were greeted by a friendly gentlemen that sat us right away. (Wish I asked for his name) once seated they brought us salsa and chips. I love it when the chips Mexican restaurants serve is warm. I ordered chicken flautas and a taco Al pastor. Both very delicious and flavorful. My sister in law ordered chicken and steak fajitas and again loved the seasoning. We enjoyed our food and will most definitely stop by again next time we are in the area Great service, wonderful ambiance, Delicious food, reasonable prices. ... .. What more can you ask for.

Plenty of room to invite all your friends!

This My stop Place on my 2 hour drive home from work The service is always Excellent and the food is fresh and delicious!! Ask for the habanero Salsa. Best little hidden Place In Acton!!

There's an enchilada in there. The taco came on the side.

This place is a typical Mexican restaurant. I had the taco and enchilada plate. Both of which were good. Their enchilada sauce is delicious. The taco was ok. Chips and salsa were served when we sat down. It's got a good, laidback atmosphere. The only complaint I have is that the waiter came by to take our order and dropped our food off and that was the last we saw of him. We had to ask the front desk to get our bill and I never got a refill of my drink. It wasn't that busy. I'd still go back because the food was really good.

There's a down home, country feel to the 49'er Saloon subtly referring to the California gold rush days of yore. Looks like an ideal place for bikers and horse riders. Hearty grub with hints of traditional regional American cuisine and full bar where you will not leave hungry. There's a formal dining room for larger gatherings for families and friends. Great place to eat after scrambling around Vasquez Rocks, visiting Animal Tracks, or just hungry on CA 14 frwy. Just get off the Crown Valley offramp and head due south for about a mile. 1) Wild Game Sausage: Walk On The Wild Side With Jalapeño-Cheddar Stuffed Elk With Roasted Peppers & Onions. Big portion enough for 2 meals since the Elk sausage is so rich. Elk sausage is ground fine and stuffed tightly in the casing for dense, firm texture. You're getting your money's worth. The Jalapeño has a nice, warm piquancy while the Cheddar gives a dairy fermented undertone. The julienned red and green bellpeppers are pleasantly al dente; the onions are caramelized to bring out their sweetness. It's all sautéed in an agrodolce/sweet-sour sauce along with a touch of garlic. 1a) Side dish: Nice little garden salad including green lettuce, diced purple onion, chopped tomato, grated carrot. Chose blue cheese dressing to use for the "Buffalo Burger". 2) "Buffalo Burger" is extra finely ground, plush, velvety Bison meat. So when I ordered it medium rare, the patty turned out mushy. Next time, I will order it medium to firm up and give more of a chaw to the meat. Opted for two slices of not too crispy, meaty bacon. Mayo, tomato, green lettuce leaf, grilled onions, cheddar cheese, dense brioche bun. I spread on the blue cheese dressing to give a little funk to what I thought would be the blood minerality of the Bison meat. It's another substantial dish. 2a) Side dish of standard French fries which was crisp as requested although it didn't quite have that ineffable earthy, mildly sweet, potato flavour 1-2a) Allegiance India Pale Ale, Lancaster CA was a good counter to both food items. Dry, heavy bodied, fruity with scents of orange zest, lacquer, touch of cleansing acidity. 49'er doesn't leave you hungry so didn't have enough room for dessert. I took the Elk sausage home and made sandwiches for two meals. So eating at the 49'er isn't as expensive due to the big portions. 4 stars

Since it was our first visit, we walked up to the bar and explained that we're not IPA fans and asked if we could sample a few beers. The staff was super friendly and happy to let us try different options. We ended up really liking the Waterfront Lager and ordered micheladas. Their michelada mix is AMAZING. The Palmdale location is drinks only (no food), but the atmosphere and service made for a really fun night. Fast forward to yesterday. My husband and I had a date night and remembered how much we liked the beer, so we decided to check out the Lancaster location since they also serve food. When we walked in, the place was packed and there were only two girls working the entire floor. Even though they were clearly super busy, they were still very friendly and upfront that there would be about a 15-minute wait for a table. We appreciated the honesty, so we waited patiently and eventually got seated. We found out that the Lancaster location doesn't always have the same beers as the Palmdale brewery location, so unfortunately they didn't have the Waterfront Lager we loved. We were a little bummed, but our waitress gladly brought us samples so we could find something else we liked. We ended up ordering a lighter blonde beer since many of the others were too hoppy for our taste. We also tried their handmade mango and pineapple micheladas and WOW! both were so good. The food was delicious too. We ordered the totchos (loaded tator tots), 6-piece hot wings, and the Asian sliders. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. Even though they were slammed busy, the waitresses continued checking on us regularly throughout the night. Overall, it ended up being a really great date night. The ambiance is casual, fun, and welcoming, and both locations gave us excellent service. Lucky Luke is definitely going to become one of our regular date night spots moving forward!

A little thin though. Garlic butter wings are good but I asked for them to be fried well done and they were not. Cowboy beans are a little tart with the vinegar but good and hearty. Plenty of parking in their dirt lot and the charm of the place is both exterior and interior. BOY! When I walked in I immediately pinned this place as one that juuuust might have a good dessert. I'm always happy to be right. We were seated immediately and friendly service took drink orders and got us settled in. While the pizza looked good, the hand formed 5150 house-ground chuck burger is what I was interested in. Added some curly fries as an upgrade to my side and waited in eager anti-anti-antici-pa-pa-pation for our food. The burger was ok, lacked a bit of seasoning within the patty, but I'm starting to notice places not seasoning their patties. Maybe people are more sensitive to sodium in their diets, but I like a bit of garlic and herb in my burgers. The pretzel bun it was served on was much softer than I imagined it would be and was very good. The curly fries ween't worth the upsell, and even Hubs fries, like mine, had way too many tiny, crispy pieces to be thoroughly enjoyed. BUT...I was right about the dessert! COBBLER! I chose mixed berry and was treated to an amazing, hot-out-of-the-oven delight I had to wait to enjoy because it was SO FRESH and piping hot. The taste was a perfect tart, not too sweet, and the crumble top was perfect! It was served in an adorable cast iron skillet - the same it cooked in - on a plate and TWO spoons! lol Hubs was not having ANY of it. This bad boy was all mine! I would highly recommend their cobbler dessert! Next time, we might get there early enough for breakfast, or maybe try their pizza that looked so good.
