Wow! Such great food and service. We came to the poppy reserve and came here after building up some hunger from walking. We were greeted with a nice warm basket of tortilla chips and salsa...mm... I ordered the molcajete (my first time trying) it came as a hot plate with refried beans, cheese, and rice with a bowl of chicken, beef, and mushroom (stew?). It came with a side of a few tortillas as well! There was a choice between flour and corn. We also ordered a few tacos but I was too full and content. The service was amazing as well and I would love to try more dishes here.

Tall on Tequila sunrise and a sour whiskey

Who would have know, but I'm here to share a great place to eat at. The food was fresh and perfect flavor. Service was grand family vibe flowing with everyone that working a true smile. I really love the wood walls like i'm up in the mountains cabin look cozier to set and eat in my house by far.. Also great tasting cocktails well blend one Sour Whiskey and one Tequila Sunrise loved it.. Next time I'm not missing out on dessert.

Very amazing Menudo did not expect you would only get this taste in Los Angeles. I would never thought I would've got this taste in Lancaster. Thanks you guys.

Beautifully massive plate of Shrimp Banderillas, extra cheese and mushrooms.

We're back!!! It was wonderful news to hear that they had gone back to being a full-service restaurant and they're open for dinner again. Yay! There's a real vibe to the place that's hard to describe, but you can see that people love coming here to eat. Same wonderful salsa, still one of our favorites in the valley. Creatures of habit, we started with salad, extra blue cheese dressing. Mr. Picky ordered the usual Chili Relleno, and I ordered the shrimp banderillas (extra cheese on the rice and extra mushrooms) in order to see if that's still as delicious as it used to be. Very decadent. Great dish to share. Need to come back and refamiliarize with the menu, try the soups we used to like. Back soon.

Good prices, good homestyle Mexican food, friendly service. One of our go to spots in the area. They even refill the horchata.

We have been seeing ads for this place for a while around town and we decided to finally come here for our anniversary. We were greeted kindly and seated right away. It is in the middle of no where but easy to find Our server Tiffany was so kind and so welcoming that she recommend a few items to us. The Al pastor fries was the best recommendation she had given me. I had the burger and husband had the steak. Both were cooked to perfection and had lots of flavor. Overall we had an amazing time and we will be back. Kuddos to Tiffany for a great time.

The veggies were obviously from frozen and were not very enjoyable. I spent roughly $55 for the entree plus $2 for the sautéed mushrooms which were also disappointing. All in all just not a great tasting meal. After tip and tax $70 was the total and I feel disappointed tricked. I would ask the chef to please put a little more love into your food. If you are going to sauté mushrooms, use some butter, not cooking oil. Get a little flame on your steaks to bring out the flavor and let it acclimate a little bit before you throw it on the grill so it stays juicy. Use fresh vegetables, not frozen or cooked and reheated the next day. The service was great BTW. Only I could tell she knew I wasn't enjoying my meal, which is probably why she didn't ask me how I liked it. On the other hand I had an excellent meal at Broken Bit steakhouse not far from here the day before. The chef should go there and learn something. Oh yeah and my meal was $10 less there.

Which is quite small and it was a first for us visiting and driving through. The town is basically on one Main Street where all the business are and the homes is surrounding the area. Quaint and quiet. Everyone knows each other. We found this place driving through looking for somewhere to stop. At first, we didn't think it was open till you get to the front door and hear the music. Inside is quite big compared to what it looks like from the outside. There was a good amount of people inside mingling and having a good time. Like mentioned, everyone knows each other. It's a bar with pool tables and dart games. I believe they also have karaoke on certain days. Full bar on one side which everything is served. Right when we walked in, the crowd was pretty nice. The lady behind the bar was very nice and friendly. She was there for a bit before finishing up her shift. Even had a really nice conversation with a local who recommended some places next time we were in town. It's a pretty cool bar. Everyone was there for the same reason. To have a drink and have fun. Locals hangout! [Randsburg CA]…read more It was a quiet Saturday afternoon when we visited this historic town this past Memorial Day weekend. We were hungry and was hoping that there was someplace to grab a bite here at this mining town. The owner of the Rock and Crystal shop pointed to this "Joint" and mentioned that they make a mean burrito and burgers. While I was still shopping at the crystal store my hubby went over to the bar and asked if the neighboring restaurant could fire up the grill for a couple of cheeseburgers w/ grilled onions (they looked like they were already putting stuff away at 4:30p). They were kind enough to oblige and we got to eat one tasty burger! The burgers were delicious... the grilled onions and seasoning they use really put flavor on those beef patties. Very good! The Joint is a family-owned saloon since 1955 with friendly folks running the bar. Decorated with patriotic flags inside and out. Was probably surprised and not used to seeing a couple of Asians walk in. As we were leaving people were starting to trickle in... looks like the fun was about to start. Found out later that they had a live band entertaining from 8:00p to midnight that evening for Memorial Day Saturday. Fun!! Review #2995
