Let me start by saying they have moved not to far away from their original location. I have not been here in a while and just found out. The new place is perfect. It's a little bigger and their bar has more than enough alcohol. They can make almost any drink you desire. I have not tried their alcohol drinks yet but some look very yummy. The staff is so friendly and ready to serve you. We had the most awesome waitress ever. My daughter asked our waitress if they had frog legs, it was a joke. She laughed and said no but she will make sure next time they will have them for her. BTW it was all a joke they really don't serve frog legs. My daughter was just being silly. We had a great laugh. Food as always very delicious. We have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. For anyone who has not been here PLEASE go and experience this place for yourself. My husband and I went on a Friday for dinner around 6pm. No wait and we were seated and brought drinks right away. I ordered the Enchilada and Chili Relleno, my husband had the Camarones A La Diabla which were good, only 6 shrimps though for the meal. Food was delicious and the staff was very nice. First time here!! It was delicious!! It was a busy Sunday afternoon and they had a huge party and quite a few other tables yet they stayed on top of taking care of us. The busser Joey is the best I've ever seen. He didn't stop moving, multitasked like a champ and with a positive attitude. Our server Jose was really sweet, polite and helpful even as busy as he was he still made sure we were happy. The food was so GOOD!! LOVED the chicken tortilla soup and the chicken tamale. My family has been going to Azteca semi regularly (once. month or so) for about 2 years. There food is great , their service is great and the prices are reasonable. It is a bit of a drive for most of the AV and chances are you will pass numerous other Mexican restaurants on your way there but based on my experience none of them are as good as Azteca. My wife swears by their burritos and as a family we love when we can get out there for Taco Tuesday. Honestly we don't go for Mexican food anywhere else in the AV any more. read more

The building is not easy to miss! We walked in and were greeted nicely and were sat in a booth. The restaurant is on the smaller side but it seems right for the location. Going on about 5 visits now and I keep coming back again and again. Well, the chips are crispy, salsa is always fresh and the food is pretty darn good too. What more can you ask for.. I trade off with the shrimp or crab enchiladas every time. Double beans, hold the rice please. Usually when I'm done you can catch me licking the plate to get every last bite.
