I was probably their first customer when the girl at the counter rung me up the bill came to $20.76. I could see it cause I was standing there at the register and she said it's $21. This waitress rounded up my bill when I said I was paying cash instead of opening the register and giving me my coin change. The photo you see is of the tacos. I ordered when the waitress told me about the tacos. They came with lettuce and tomato. I asked for no lettuce and if they could put sour cream on it as you can see what the sour cream looks like that they put on it and there was no tomatoes, so it was just chicken.. I discovered this when I got home since I got it to go. There are at least six Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville and this one I will not ever come back to.

The pork that filled the tamales were flavorful and moist. Since I've been in the area, I've been trying tamales in Mexican restaurants (Wilmington, Jacksonville Swansboro, Havelock), and haven't found ones that I've liked, and now I've found them at Las Pinatas. The store is pretty small, but they do carry alot of stuff. They have hot food like tamales and burritos (Just ask the person at the counter for it), along with baked sweets. Definitely will be back to get some more tamales when I have my cravings. They sell the tamales $5 for 6 or $10 for 12 in red or green sauce. I personally thought the green one was a little bit more spicier then the red one.

The decore is LA street art with murals, stylized tagging, and graffiti-style artwork. Even the restrooms are decorated.
