If you're a pie guy or girl, you can revel in their choices of Apple, Pumpkin, Boston Cream, Pecan, Chocolate Cream, Sweet Potato, Mince, Blueberry, Lemon Meringue, Strawberry Rhubarb, Cranberry Apple, and the seductively named Fruits of the Forest and French Silk. They set up a big tent around Thanksgiving and sell any Thanksgiving related goodie you can think of. There were quite a few samples available for your tasting pleasure, and we bought a big can of turkey gravy and a package of cheese because the samples were so good. We also bought a 14 pound fresh turkey for about $3 a pound. We really enjoyed our shopping experience. The store and tent are a lot of fun to wander around in, and the employees we interacted with were all super nice and helpful.

I would have preferred that both turkeys be donated if this is what I would find on my doorstep. Will not repeat with this program. Fortunately they delivered early enough I have time to make other plans.

The winner was the pulled pork, but we loved the turkey too. We returned a couple of days later for another pulled pork sandwich and I also ordered a giant dill pickle I saw on the counter. This place also has a huge selection of raw meats and prepared foods and a bunch of random local goodies and sauces to try. You can't really compare it to restaurant quality Francaise because it's specifically made to be re-heated and eaten later. With this in mind, I though that the small chicken pieces and lemon sauce were very solid. My other purchases included clam chowder and Tuna Mac Salad with peas. The Tuna Mac was pretty good. It wouldn't be in regular rotation for me, but I'd get it once in a while. The clam chowder was my least favorite, but I respect that New England Pasta seemed to go for something different. The texture was good and it had plenty of clams and potato. But it tasted like it had a little blue cheese flavor. I can't say for sure that they used blue cheese, but the chowder definitely had something different that gave it this vibe. For me, this flavor was a bit too assertive. At Tulmeadow, I recently had Red Raspberry Chocolate Chip, Marshmallow Toasted Cornflake, Chocolate Raspberry Raspberry Curd and the best flavor I've had this year -- Double Raspberry Crumbcake. The flavors all popped. The use of intensely flavored raspberry curd in a couple of the ice creams was next level. The colors were right on. The texture was top tier. Service was friendly and the farm setting adds to the experience. Tulmeadow is 5 Stars and I'm upgrading my earlier review.

The base is made of açaí, almond milk, pineapple, mango, banana and blueberries. It was topped with granola, pineapple, banana, coconut and honey. This was so fresh! I could hear the blender running as the girl, blended everything for me. There's no freezer burn here. It was cold, fresh, and so delicious! I also think $11.00 is a great value. I once paid $17 for an açaí bowl on my travels somewhere, the portion was tiny and it was far from fresh. Liquid Nirvana offers delicious, fresh, high quality products from a large assortment of organic fruits and vegetables.

One reason might be the small ARMY of staff they have working here. I arrived just after they opened at 8am this morning, EVERY aisle had at least two or three employees stocking shelves. Yeah, the store is nice & clean, but I imagine the higher prices on stock reflect that level of staffing. The parking lot can be a mini adventure to navigate, but I try to get here early to avoid too much hassle. And since Whole Foods in Avon is a 20 mile round trip for me, I only come here to shop occasionally.

Although a scenic drive to Bruno's, it is completely out of the way for me, but I wanted to try them. This cafe is small, and very busy. They have some seating options, but all the seats were taken. They did have some tables and chairs outside, and it was a pleasant day to sit outside. Their milk is sourced from Arethusa Farms, one of the best, if not THE BEST local dairy resources. Their menu is large with coffee, tea, refreshers, including pastries, breakfast and lunch options. On this trip we got coffees. I got Nova's Nutella Latte, the others got a mocha and Kiwi, Mint & Lemongrass refresher. These were all very pricey, I was a bit taken aback. Each drink was between $9.00 and $10.00. Maybe it's because of the locally sourced milk, I can't think of another reason. My Nutella Latte was very chocholatey and very tasty, but my cup was also filled with ice all the way to the top. The refresher was very sweet, but a unique combo of flavors and pretty refreshing. The mocha was solid. Overall, maybe I got the wrong things at Bruno's, but I can't say I was super impressed, especially at such a high cost.
