Cute spot for a date night, located at the ʻEwa Beach golf course. There's plenty of parking, which is nice. We came after sunset so it was really dark, but still a pretty setting. Service was a bit off. We arrived around 8pm and there were only a few tables seated, but the host seemed confused and it took a while to get us seated. Our server also wasn't the friendliest, just not the most welcoming or confident vibe. When we asked what fish was included in the course, she said she didn't know and just reassured us it was "good quality," which didn't feel very reassuring. We ordered the Sushi & Hand Roll Course (about $50 per person), which is actually a pretty good deal for the amount of food and slightly upscale feel. It included seasonal fish crudo, 9 pieces of chef's choice premium sushi, and a choice of two hand rolls: we picked shrimp tempura and spicy crab. One downside was the spicy crab hand roll used imitation crab, which was disappointing since that wasn't disclosed and we assumed it would be real crab based on the options given. Also, before we ordered dessert, our server told us the kitchen was already closed. Totally understandable, but there was no heads-up or last call, which would've been helpful. We still ended up getting the black sesame panna cotta, which was actually really good. Came here for the first time for a casual night out and glad we did! We came for sunset and it was such a nice vibe, especially for a weekday. Dining room lit up and slowly turned ambient as the night progressed. Destiny took care of us and she was great at explaining all the things she brought out, even let us know about the homemade shoyu they make to accompany the sashimi we had ordered. My personal favorites as far as food were the wafu steak and the hwe dup bap, a Korean style chirashi bowl, paired with a really delicious yuzu chojang, a sour spicy paste that was HELLA addicting. Finished all off with a eggplant brûlée and strawberry kakegori. All together we had 2, apps, 2 meat entrees, 3 fish entrees, 4 cocktails, and 2 desserts. We were extremely full for three people and total came out to about $300! Boss brought us to celebrate nurses week. What a beautiful restaurant and gorgeous view. Perfect to have a nice lunch. We ordered the broccolini and corn rib appetizers. The corn ribs were good but more of a novelty. The broccolini-the sauce! One of the best sauces in my life. We asked for a spoon then later asked for bread ( which they didn't have). Its sooooo good. We came here for mid-week lunch right around opening time. Mercy was our server; she was attentive, gave us great suggestions, and took wonderful care of us. We had the smoked broccolini with an addicting sauce. I might have to come back for another round. She also suggested the yuzu shrimp salad which was huge and also delicious. We shared a few hand rolls and the chef's special sushi selection. Also even though we were stuffed, we had the strawberry kakigori which was not too sweet and a nice way to end the meal. No need to say it twice... As lunch here with Terry was a day I was looking forward to. Who would think that all the way at the end of Ewa is this lovely gem tucked away though on this visit it seems like many already know it's the place for a comforting meal with a view of the golf course. Parking is a breeze with lots to choose from just steps away from the entrance and the restaurant is located on the second floor and just didn't expect how lovely it was so roomy and huge windows for you to relax and get lost just gazing out as we watched the flights passing by. Looking over the menu it's very interesting to see many asian fusion from sushi, Kimchi udon and even Tteokgalbi Loco Moco was something I didn't expect but we got straight to the appetizers with chicken wings, cucumber salad and roasted Brussels sprouts...all were just so amazing and delicious though my favorite has to be the Brussels sprouts. For my entree it was the NY-style Smash Burger with Fries which is just simply yummy with lettuce, tomato and cheese (no onions) . I don't exactly know how we got to dessert but it was Kakigori : Shaved Ice (Strawberry, Matcha or Grape) but I guess they got me with matcha lol! It definitely was huge enough to share for more than two but I did fairly well and was a nice and refreshing ending of the meal though the company was a delight and catching up after many trips and adulting during the busy holiday season it was a great place to enjoy with friends but do have lots of room for groups as well. We had a really pleasant experience at Domo Domo. We ordered the fried corn rib, ebi katsu, mazemen, and finished with the sweet potato crème brûlée for dessert. Everything came with several complimentary side dishes: green salad, mac salad, edamame, japchae, and soy egg--which was such a nice surprise. The mazemen even included two pieces of futomaki sushi. I mean, who doesn't love a little extra? We were absolutely stuffed by the end. Our favorite dish was definitely the fried corn rib; it was so flavorful and addictive. The shrimp in the ebi katsu was perfectly crispy without being greasy, which we really appreciated. The mazemen was decent but didn't really wow us, so we'd probably skip it next time. The sweet potato crème brûlée was nicely done, though a bit too sweet for our taste. The potato was already sweet enough so the added sugar was a bit too much. Service was friendly and attentive, and parking was easy, which always makes dining out that much more enjoyable. The ambiance is warm, modern, and inviting -- perfect for a date night but still comfortable enough to bring the whole family. Last night was our first time dining at DOMO DOMO, and it was such a great experience! Our server, Jazzy, was absolutely outstanding--hands down one of the best servers we've ever had anywhere. She went above and beyond, knew the menu so well, and made confident recommendations that did not disappoint. I heard of this place from Raina Huang (competitive eater) & was surprised that I never heard of this place since I grew up in Ewa Beach. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken wings for appetizer and the pork loin katsu, while I ordered the Valentine's Day special Domo 12pc sushi. Our waitress was Juliet and we loved her! We got banchan (gyoza, edamame, japchae, and salad with their yummy black sesame dressing) after we ordered and they were all tasty! I tried the pork loin katsu and it was perfect! My sushi was brought to me last and my goodness it was all yummy! I saved the uni for last :). Our waters and Coke Zero were refilled in a timely matter. For our anniversary we decided to try Domo Domo since we heard a lot of good things about this place. The only way to find out is to try it yourself. It's located in Ewa Beach right across from Ewa Beach park. Way inside Ewa Beach. Nice place with lots of parking. You can take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. I heard they are also open for lunch because it's on the golf course. Nice setting with lots of tables. It's not a huge place but good enough. We decided to have the Domokase which is a seven course dinner. If one person on your table gets it the other people will need to order it too. Jasmine was our waitress and she did an excellent job explaining the dishes to us. The first dish was the tofu. We loved it and wish we had more. The mixture of the freshly made tofu with the oils and other ingredients made this one of my favorites. Second dish was the Tuna Toast. Chunks of tuna poke with smoked cream cheese and tobiko on a cracker. Who would think cream cheese and tuna?!! Yum Next came the shrimp. Tempura Shrimp was cooked perfect, and not rubbery. The nori was in a plastic wrapper so not to get the nori soggy. Just needed to pull the plastics apart. 5th STAR for the COMMARADARIE Here is my story: The year, 2025 is ending and Yelper Elite Gail U rounds a couple of us to break bread together as we end the year. Domo Domo was the place for our visit. Without getting into detail, I will say the food was decent by taste and presentation. Of the dishes we had, my favorite was the deep fried brussel sprouts which chased the chicken karaage and the cucumber salad. The menu, while not extensive did offer decent dishes which I've not tried so won't comment. The service is excellent. The Establishment is CLEAN. They have an elevator which gives you a ride for one floor should you choose not to walk up the staircase. You can sit on the south side with a cute small view of Ewa Beach, the beach itself. Or, you can sit on the north side and get a view of the Golf Course putting green and 1st hole. Or you can sit in the center part and people watch! Take your pick I've not been to Domo Domo for dinner yet, but all indications give me thumbs up to make a journey out west (and to those who know me, will be surprised I ventured as west as Domo Domo and Ewa Golf Course) The offer brunch on special days (like Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc) There are loads of parking. I love finding places that offer elevated cuisine at a good price. Located at the very end of Ewa Beach. You will question if you're driving in the correct location as you go pass the neighborhood. Keep going till you see the golf courses, Domo Domo is located at 360 degree golf course. There is such a great view. Every seat in the house has a good view. The few times I went I believe they are still training the staff knowledge of each dish is getting there. My faves include the octopus it's hard to serve this soft but Domo has done it. Others like the corn rib I think it's great with some beer. The miso butterfish is a superior one. Here is the thing.... For the quality of the food and size the price is right! Decided to come here on new year's day to eat dinner and it did not disappoint! The dining room is a nice size on the second floor of the 360 golf course and they have a small bar area. They also have a private dining room. I came here not expecting much (mainly to try the sweet potato crème brûlée) but it turned out to be awesome from the food to ambiance and service. There's no other restaurant in Ewa like this and I'm surprised a Michelin Star rated restaurant opened up in all places. We tried a variety of dishes and my favorites so far are the maple miso scallops and the katsu dishes. The flavor of the miso sauce with the scallops was crazy good! The texture was on point and even tho the portions look small they were very filling all around. The sushi was really fresh and they also have house shoyu which was light and not overpowering. After a long and hot round of golf all you want to do is sit down and have some good food. The host was pretty rude and it took about 15 minutes to get a table. Once we sat down we were all pretty tuned off at that point but our waitress turned that right around. She was amazing! She noticed how long it took for us to get a table when the restaurant had multiple open tables. She apologized and had drinks for us within minutes. Our waitress recommended the corn ribs so we started with that. The ribs were a bit chewy and bland. Once you get to the bottom of the stack there is a bunch of seasoning that did not stick to the corn on the top. We all ordered the hand rolls and weren't very impressed. The set comes with a tempura, imitation crab, spicy ahi and salmon roll. The best out of the four would have to be the tempura. I'm going to have to go back to try their other dishes after another round of golf. In all honesty, this is not someplace that I'd go out of my way to visit. As far as parking, there is a lot. The place is bright from all the natural light coming in. You have views of the golf course or the ocean. Customer service here during lunch was very attentive and friendly. When we were looking at the menu, we found out that the omakase we've been seeing on social media is only offered during dinner. That didn't stop us from ordering up a storm! Complimentary appetizers/banchan style small plates were delivered for the table to share. Main dishes came out pretty quick too. Back again, and I'm happy to say the food and service are still consistently good. This visit was noticeably busier than our first, which was nice to see, though the noise level was quite high and made it a bit difficult to hear others at our table. We ordered the Domokase (x5) and added a few extras this time. The cucumber salad was refreshing and crunchy with a nicely balanced shoyu-forward flavor. The truffle salt French fries were crispy and addictive, though slightly over-salted for my taste. The fried corn ribs were easy to eat with a mild, pleasant sweetness. One notable change from our first visit was the octopus dish, which has been replaced with shrimp using the same preparation--still tasty, just a different protein. The opening dish, Kona Kampachi, was served in a smaller portion this time. The flavor profile was slightly different as well: still smoky, but lighter overall, and the broth wasn't as creamy as before. That said, everything else was solid and enjoyable. Hot and new on the west side!! There's nothing like Domo Domo on this side of the island. I've been recommending this spot to everyone that I know that lives on this side of the island because of how good the food is, the beautiful interior design, and the amazing views! I didn't know about this golf course/ country club before coming here. It's a bit past Campbell High School along the beach road, right before a dead end. The food here is Korean- Japanese with some island inspiration mixed in. From koji-marinated pork katsu, tteokgalbi loco moco to spicy pork bulgogi ssam and kimchi udon. The flavor profile is familiar but executed in a creative and refined way. One of my favorite dishes is their hwe dup bap- it's like a bibimbap but topped with fresh sashimi. I've had this dish in Korea and haven't found a lot of spots on island that do it. All of their sushi, sashimi, etc. is really fresh and they pair flavors with the fish really well. They offer an omakase for $79 and a sushi / hand roll course for $49. I'm going to need to come back for that omakase, because that's such a good price for 6 courses of premium sushi and dessert! Speaking of dessert, I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the dessert here the way I was! The sweet potato creme brulee was unlike anything I've had before. It's so smooth and creamy, and the classic asian dessert compliment "not too sweet". Need something to cool you down after a round of golf? The kakigori shave ice will do that for ya, with flavors like strawberry, matcha, and grapefruit. I'm not a golfer, but you don't need to golf to enjoy the food here! I visited this restaurant on their 3rd day of opening, 11/22 (my birthday). Of course the timing of the food wasn't going to be on par at first opening. KATSU SET Yohan, the General Manager visited our table and recommended the Pork Loin Katsu. He mentioned that the pork is koji-marinated which makes the meat sooo tender and juicy. We ordered both the Pork Loin and the Pork Tenderloin and both were tender and juicy. The tenderloin is like a thicker cut, like a filet minot... I preferred the Pork Loin, the thinner cut. Both dishes were equally delicious and fried to perfection. We were so full that we barely had room for any dessert. However we ended up sharing the matcha and the strawberry shaved ice dishes. It was the perfect light and sweet treat after our ginormous meal. Yes, we ate EVERYTHING! My favorite was the Korean fried chicken, scallops, pork loin katsu set, sashimi's set, fried corn rib, and the strawberry shave ice.... And the sake (nihonsakari sakari no. 12) Overall this is a great restaurant to have in Ewa Beach. Somewhere worth driving to. I finally checked out Domodomo at the 360° Ewa Beach Country Club after hearing the buzz including its Michelin Guide recognition from New York (it was on the Bib Gourmand list for several years) and overall it was a solid meal, but not quite worth the drive from Hawaii Kai for me. Location & Concept Domodomo brings its contemporary Japanese-Korean influenced menu from New York to Oʻahu, specializing in sushi, hand rolls, katsu, and more. It's an attractive spot with views over the golf course, making it great if you're already out in Ewa Beach or finishing a round of golf. What I Tried * Handroll omakase. Alright but not outstanding; the sushi wasn't quite as memorable as I expected given the Michelin recognition. * Scallop. The sauce was tasty and complemented the scallop well. * Menchi katsu. Definitely a highlight crispy and flavorful, worth ordering. Pros * Some standout bites (menchi katsu, flavorful scallop sauce). * Fun to try the handrolls and more elevated bites in a relaxed setting. * Good option after golf or if you're already on the Leeward side. Cons * Service seemed a bit slow. I got the sense the team was backed up. * Not quite worth a special trip from far across unless you're a big fan of the concept. Final Thoughts If you're already in Ewa or finishing up a round at the golf course, Domodomo is worth a visit for some tasty dishes and a nice atmosphere. But for a dedicated drive from Hawaii Kai, it didn't quite justify the distance for me. This place just opened at the 360 Ewa Beach Country Club. I heard they were in the Michelin Guide for their NYC location. While there, I heard someone say that they took all of the best dishes from their other restaurants to make the Hawaii menu. Overall it was pretty good. I got the Domokase so that I got an all around tasting of what they offer. My wife got the Sushi and Handroll course. We both enjoyed our meals and would recommend giving them a try. Staff was friendly and there is plenty of parking. Give them a try when you're in Ewa Beach. Alooooooooha and happy eating. read more

Had the most memorable Friendsgiving at Domo Domo with my girls! From the moment we walked in -- the beautiful entryway and elegant staircase set the tone for a day to remember. The ambiance was chic yet welcoming, and the service truly top notch. The food didn't disappoint either. Generous portions, flavorful dishes, and the fact that most plates came with sides was such a pleasant surprise. We added our own twist to our luncheon with a gift exchange swap. At first, we hesitated since the setting felt a little fancy and we didn't want to disturb others with our laughter. But then we spotted another group of girls doing the same thing (instant relief!) and carried on with our game. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and even the manager came by to greet us, which made us feel so appreciated. Came here after seeing some IG reels on it. We were able to make a reservation for the next evening. Restaurant is set at a golf course, in the main upstairs building. Relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant literally opened 2 days prior, so expected some hiccups which was expected. Nothing major. We opted for the Domokase (chefs tasting menu). Japanese Old Fashioned - 2/5: this was served on the rocks vs a big single ice cube. This watered down the drink pretty quickly. Would prefer one large cube. Smoked fish broth - 4/5: good depth of flavor with fresh sashimi in the center. Octopus - 3/5: maybe I'm not a fan of octopus, but this was on the tougher side. Flavor was good with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce. Beef Carpaccio - 4/5: melt in your mouth, with good accompaniments. Pickled daikon provided that acidity while the mushroom provided the soft texture with the beef. Grilled seasonal fish - 3/5: fish was a bit on the dry side but served in broth. Was ok, not my favorite. Chef's choice sushi- 5/5: all the sushi was fresh, premium grade, melt in your mouth. Definitely a keeper. Salmon hand roll - 5/5: served with an aioli on top. This was very good as well. Sweet potato creme brûlée - 4/5: this was definitely different being served in the sweet potato skin. Good finisher. Kakigoti - 5/5: very nice chiller for the night Overall, nice restaurant working out their kinks. The sushi was the highlight of the menu. Next time I will be ordering just sushi. Before entering there is a sign in front stating the Michelin starred restaurant in NY. When I heard this I just had to try this place. No reservation was made so we had a short wait. Seated and menus, water and drink menu given. This place is beautiful, interior, lighting and seating spacious. I ordered Shrimp Yuzu salad, spicy tuna roll and scallops with maple truffle sauce. No descriptions of dishes were made, no recommendations nothing. Order came out very quickly, the salad was first. No sooner was the salad placed on the table, here came the scallops. Surprisingly the sushi was last. The salad was delicious! Texturally pleasing and the Yuzu was perfect. The Hokkaido scallops were served as 3 pieces swimming in the glorious sauce! I could've bathed in it because it was that good. The sushi was a bit disappointing. Very little spicy tuna in it. It was more like a maki sushi. It was cut thick with egg and other garnishes in it. Server brought out the homemade say sauce. Claims it was special and made in house. Ok, I'm waiting to hear why it's special, nothing. Have soy sauce to just one person and no one else. Table was quite small and plating was quite large there was not enough room on the table. We kept having to ask someone to clear the table to make to make space. Another thing is the food came out so quickly it left very little time to enjoy each dish. Sushi options very limited. No nigiri options. Hopefully in time this location can live up to its Michelin star sister. Offer more sushi selections and improve the service. I'd still return because the food I did have (except the sushi) was delicious. read more

All the appetizers were delicious, but all the entrees that we ordered were pretty bad. The steak portion was very small and was only bulked up by the vegetables medley underneath. The cut of the beef was very sinewy and was not worth the price. The tobiko pasta was very bland and the clams weren't thoroughly cleaned a d were full of sand. We also ordered the salmon & cream cheese sushi roll and it was funky. And the rice was not cooked well. The spicy tuna roll was just as bad. Lastly, the miso salmon had too much miso, it was almost unpleasant. The staff seem to have a certain way of choosing where customers sit. Those well semi formally dressed were sat on the booths by the windows, while the ones wearing casuals were sat in the middle tables, regardless of the group number. My boyfriend wanted a date night so we decided to try this new restaurant in Ewa. It's past Campbell High School and a little out of the way. I didn't even know a country club existed here. However, there was a lot of parking. We made a reservation on Resy for 5:30PM and arrived 15 minutes late. They were nice enough to accommodate us and sat us immediately. The restaurant is one floor with around 20 tables/booths. It's modern and sleek. It seemed to have a business casual vibe. At the beginning of our dinner, our server was really fast and attentive. He was super nice and gave great recommendations. We ordered: Menchi Katsu, Sushi & Handroll Course: Yellowtail Crudo, Chef's Premium Sushi, and Salmon and Spicy Ahi Rolls, Scallops, Teokgalbi Loco Moco and the Sweet Potato Creme Brulee. Honestly, everything was so delicious. Our favorite were the scallops because that mapple truffle soy sauce. It had a nice balance between salty, sweet and the subtle note of black truffles. I was expecting the snow peas and kale would be bitter, but the sauce helped take the taste away. The sauce was so good, I dipped the menchi katsu and even poured the excess sauce in the Loco moco. The menchi katsu and teokgalbi patty were very juicy and flavorful. I was impressed that they gave two big patties in the Loco moco. The sushi and handroll course was good, but not amazing. I think I would go somewhere else for that. And that finishing touch of the Sweet potato creme brulee was perfect. It was so soft and creamy, but wasn't too sweet. I wish i got the wholesome potato instead of just half and that it came with ice cream. Regarding service, majority of our food came right away except for the course meal. Also, because they recently opened the service was slower because people were still training and they were still trying to find their flow. I definitely want to come back to try the rest of the menu items. I hope when I come back the will find their flow. read more

Opening week - Dinner Located in Ewa Beach at 360 cc (Old Ewa Beach golf course), there is lots of parking. The restaurant is located upstairs, so you can take the stairs or elevator. There is a lot of seating, so great for small to larger parties. Our party of 2 decided to try the Signature Domokase and the Sushi & Handroll course. My favorites - octopus, grilled fish, yellowtail crudo and my chef's choice sushi - which included a branzino nigiri (I have never tried branzino raw and it reminded me of chutoro - only a little tougher in the bite - very delicious). When I ordered the salmon handroll, I didn't realize that cream cheese was going to be on it. So if you're not a fan of cream cheese on your sushi, maybe you can ask for no cream cheese. Staff and management were very helpful with explaining our dishes, making sure our water was filled, letting us know our dishes were coming, etc. I am excited to try this restaurant again since they have lots of other dishes to try. Found this great place to have lunch or dinner with friends if you're ever near Ewa Beach side ... This restaurant is located at the Ewa Beach country club overlooking the golf course. It's a very contemporary Japanese restaurant but I taste a hint of Korean in there too . It's very comfortable dining and great music to dine to .. (although we had to ask them to tone it down a bit because we wanted to chit chat) . The menu was excellent and had a wide variety of dishes to choose from . All the dishes we ordered were delicious except for the Sukiyaki Don which wasn't a sukiyaki to begin with but was good anyway. I thought prices were very reasonable too. Even though we were there for a couple of hours engaged in conversation ... the service staff were courteous and still attentive and checking in frequently. DOMO DOMO was our stop to celebrate 36 years of marriage and was amazingly worth it. We started with a shrimp salad with a tasty Vinaigrette then we graduated to tuna toast that melted in our mouth. Delicious! My wife enjoyed the Miso Black Cod on a butternut squash puree while I was bowled over by the Sukiyaki Don and rice. Tenderized and marinated in a sweet sauce the dish delivers on a variety of levels in flavor and texture. Additionally we ordered fried chicken dumplings which were slightly glazed in a soy based sweet glaze. What an experience! The ambience is nicely elegant but simple and the service was amazing. Absolutely worth the drive. I grew up in Ewa Beach and it had been 2 decades since I even drove way back deep in Ewa Beach country so when our Waze app sent up to this location I was surprised that a restaurant was even there. First off the location is upstairs overlooking the golf course and the neighborhood was SILENT so it gave you a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant was impeccable and gorgeous giving you a super high end vibe at. There were 5 of us and our bill came out to $300 butcher's what we ordered: Roasted Brussels 10/10 Truffle fires 10/10 Fried corn 8/10 ( a little chewy) Shrimp tempura roll 6/10 ( lacked flavor, Kim bap style) Chefs choice sushi 10/10 Tonkatsu set 11/10 ( fork tender yet crispy) Sashimi platter 10/10 Korean style loco moco 12/10 ( soooo good and huge portion) Seafood Udon 10/10 ( Korean flavored broth and tons of seafood) Overall the meal was quite delicious, our food came out quickly. I would give this place 5 stars but... kitchen needs a little work. My husband ordered the Chef's choice omikase sushi and he waited and waited for his sushi. We were almost done with our meal when after asking about his order 2xs when it finally came. There was also a wait the tempura roll that we ordered with our appetizers and we literally was DONE eating when it finally came. I normally would just cancel but my son insisted he wanted it only to have a meh.. tasting roll . Our server was amazing! She was very apologetic about the wait in our late items and kept checking on its progress. Other than that, we will defense be back. It's a great trending place for friends getting together for drinks. I did see a few tables with kids but there's no child's menu so keep that in mind. read more
