Very disappointed with the delivery I received. After waiting over a hour for a delivery order, the order finally arrived and the items were completely burnt. The pizza was very burnt on the top and extremely burnt on the bottom. The pasta dish was very burnt and hard. At this point I didn't even bother looking at the 3rd pizza as it was probably a disaster as well!! I drove the items back to the store I ordered them from. Waited several mins at the counter and someone finally came up to help me. I asked for a refund and showed the worker the burnt items. He didn't know how to refund my order. I asked for a manager to help. This kid said "I am the manager". I said, well you should know how to refund and how could you let these items in this condition leave the store. He got very rude and walked away. I asked if he was going to refund me. He gave me a thumbs up and continued walking away. I asked another worker if someone was going to help me. He said " I can't. We are very busy. You will have to wait till tomorrow"...I'm obviously not going to wait till the next day for a refund. Several mins pass and another guy comes out to refund me. I asked why the manager walked away and isn't helping. He says "I am the manager" ... I said how many managers are there cause this kid just told me he was a manager, he gave me a thumbs up and walked away. I'm astonished at the customer service there is at this store. They opened up earlier this year and it took me a while to finally give them a try, but I was so hungry and just wasn't down for what was being served in the Café at work. I am so glad I did! I walked in and was pleasantly surprised with how friendly all the workers were and how nicely they've decorated inside. They have a small seating area to the right and a TV for entertainment. They also have a seats in front of the register where you can wait for your order, but you don't have to wait long because they are SUPER fast! When I called in a big order for pick-up, it was ready in less than 15 minutes. I've tried their BBQ chicken wings, stuffed cheesy bread, & chicken alfredo -- all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I really, really like their chicken alfredo and the fact they come in either a tin or bread bowl (your choice). Mmmmm, yum! If you want to dine outdoors there are some outdoor seating near Ululani's. FOOD: Deluxe Feast Pizza - It's been years, no wait, decades, since I last had a slice of Dominos. Yowza, talk about DELISH! Sorry Pizza Hut, I'm going to be coming here from now on! This pie was topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, fresh mushrooms, white onions, cheese, over marinara, on a handmade pan crust. The crust had a nice crispiness to it with a soft center, and the ingredients just tasted so fresh and flavorful. I was reading the pizza box and it stated that the cheese goes all the way to the edge of the crust... It sure did. Amazingly oral orgasmic! Another winner is the price. For a fully loaded pizza like this, it costs $11.99 for a small, $15.99 for a medium, and $19.99 for a large. Good deal. Chicken Carbonara Pasta - I opted for the regular tin bowl rather than a bread bowl. The penne pasta was cooked just slightly past al dente, and was done in a light cream sauce mixed with cooked white onions, fresh mushrooms, grilled chicken strips, and smoky bacon bits. Pretty damn tasty for a "fast" pizza joint. Small portion size for the price as the bowl wasn't even half filled. Loss of a star. SERVICE: The male delivery guy was friendly. Later in the day when I went in to grab more food, the male cashier was friendly and gave quick service. The reprinting of my online order receipt was easy; he just needed my order number and out it came. They're brand new and still getting used to things but I was very impressed with their composure. TIPS: Delivery charge was $2.99. Pizza customization is high here. You can opt for crust texture, topping amounts, sauces, half of this, whole of that... Crazy hours too!! I'm super happy that Domino's is back. I use their app to order. No more calling and praying the person on the other line got my order correct. The app makes ordering a breeze. You can customize your orders on the app too. Plus, you can see at what stage your order is at. I like being able to see that my pizza is in the oven or that QC is being done on my order. The drivers have been very polite and delivery is fast. We once had a couple of old salads with our order (and also the wrong salad, but this one was old too). The lettuce was starting to brown and it was past is expiration date on the label. The driver promptly took them back without hesitation and brought back fresh salads. I'm not too keen about their breadsticks and wings. But this is my go to place for pizza's and hot sandwiches. So far, every pizza and sandwich, we've ordered, was made correctly and was hot on arrival. This is a great option for my lazy nights! read more

But, what people take for granted elsewhere, I'm very appreciative of since this place re-opened on Maui! It's been years since I've had a Domino's Pizza. it seems like everytime I go to Honolulu and think of ordering from them, either they are not in the area I'm staying or located on a Military Base, where access is very difficult. I was actually tempted to have them deliver to the Guard Shack at the front of the base and meet them there! But, back to this Maui location...I was extremely happy to see that they actually did open, since there was a sign posted on the building indicating they were coming soon, then the sign disappeared. Then the rumors started that they were NOT opening! Tease! Located in the Maui Lani Shopping Center, off of Kaahumanu Avenue, this location has ample free parking and an actual dining area! As you walk in, at least in my own experience, you are almost immediately greeted by a friendly team member, who ensures your visit will be a pleasant one! The good thing about this place is you can order online at www.dominos.com and pay when you pick up. Unlike the other pizza place, which rhymes with pizza hut hawaii, you have to pay online. I also like the fact that you can order in advance online and the pizza will be waiting for you when you get there. I've done this twice and have not been disappointed! The prices are also better than that other pizza place and to me, the taste is a lot better than I remember. Unfortunately, because we live in Hawaii and because it costs at least a few more dollars to "ship" stuff to us, the $5.99 special is not valid here. Instead, these promo prices range between $7.99 and $8.99. I'm not quite sure, since I've paid both prices when they first opened up. They sometimes run promos on the website, which (at least when they first opened) this store honors. The first one I did was the 50% off pizzas, which they ran during the first couple of weeks after opening. PLEASE BRING THAT PROMO BACK! The Store here is very clean, the service is fast and friendly and their delivery also rocks! $2.99 delivery fee if you order from home or work, but the driver's are (at least twice that I've tried) always on time and courteous. Oh, and the taste! I actually like the taste of this "new" recipe and think Domino's Pizza is better than the other available pizza shops in the area. Even my pizza-monger child agrees! I just came to this dominos and asked the non personable rude big man behind the counter at the maui lani dominos and asked for specials and asked if the pricing online is the same as in store and he said yes. He told us also that all the cheaper pricing online is not for hawaii. We paid $17.00 something for a medium pizza that we could have ordered online and gotten 2 medium pizzas for basically that price. We definitely feel ripped off and is not happy. We even asked if we order online and pick up in store if itll be cheaper with the coupons clipped; he said no so we proceeded to just purchase the one medium pizza for $17.00 something and not even couple seconds later I tried looking online and clipping a coupon and trying to proceed to checkout online and it was something like $10.99 or something like that. A few months later we decided to give them another shot figuring it was us or it was that particular sandwich. So we ordered "stuffed cheese bread" and "boneless chicken" which looked good in the pictures.
