I was in college at the time and needed a job to pay bills. Boss was great in the beginning…read more Accommodated my disability and was kind. But the longer I stayed there, it went downhill. I was taking classes full time and could not drop any, as I would lose my financial aid permanently since I was near the end of what I could borrow. I had only a year left to graduate. Boss agreed with me that I would have flexible scheduling and be able to attend my classes. I was forced to work 30 or more hours in a week, barely making it to classes and barely getting to my schoolwork. I could not find another job at the time because of my class schedule, so I stayed. Job only got worse. My boss slowly stopped accommodating me which left me confused on so many things because I had no idea what was going on. I would get promised one thing after another, but it either never fell through, or it took months when it should have taken no more than a few weeks. Then my boss started going crazy. Screaming at the top of her lungs at every employee, accusing them of not doing their jobs when they were, and threatening to fire them. I was on the receiving end just about every time because of my disability and the fact she stopped accommodating me. This is already scary when your boss is suddenly coming after you screaming, but even more so when I had grown up in an abusive household, so I was terrified. Then things started coming out of the woodworks. I was doing deliveries and had been for months. I came to find out that I was delivering to all the places on the do not deliver list. Why? Because they wanted to make money. When I asked, "What if something happened?" Boss just told me to call 911 and bring the pizza back with me so we don't lose money. There was other stuff that I will not mention here. The last straw for me, was when there were tornados touching down, and my boss insisted I come in. When the weather seemed to have cleared a little, I came in. Well, weather got worse. I tried to leave multiple times to get my dog and go to a shelter, because my home was not safe for tornados. Boss refused to let me leave and instead gave me false assurances that everything was alright, and she was watching the weather. Well, I turned around at one moment to see the other manager there and discovered that my boss had left. Right when a tornado was coming straight for the store. My boss forced the other manager to drive through an hour of tornados from her home to get to the store so my boss could leave. By the time I found out, I could not leave because the weather had gotten critical outside. I went into a full-blown panic attack wondering what's going to happen to me, and if my dog was going to die. Thankfully, the tornado went back up before it hit town. I couldn't function after that and quit shortly after.

I was informed that the managers keep all of the non driver tips and do not distribute them to the employees on duty. When I called to ask about their policy, the assistant manager confirmed that they do in fact keep all of the tips given for online/ call in pick up orders. This is in violation of section #15 of the FLSA. Drivers get to keep their tips. The customer service is generally positive. The food is usually really good with few exceptions. The parking lot is full of broken concrete and potholes and it is my understanding that this is not the fault of Pizza Hut but the company who owns the strip mall. . I give them a 3.5 out of 5 stars and the taste was okay, but I couldn't really taste the lemon flavor and it wasn't all that hot either. Next the garlic knots I give them a 3.5 as well. They were slightly burnt and a little hard. I should have asked for a credit on them but I didn't. However, I suggest getting the cheese dip for the sauce because then they a 4 stars out of 5. They taste really good with the cheese sauce. Your going to love it.
