This is the closest Chinese restaurant to our home and we head here for takeout at least once a week. My family favorite is the Szechuan Shrimp and the Egg Drop Soup. Yummy! Service is fast - we do a takeout order, and the food comes out quickly. It's amazing how fast they can serve an order. Takeout is also available as a bar takeout which allows you to fill the takeout container from the bar. Ambience is standard Chinese restaurant decor, which could probably use a makeover but everything seems in good repair. i would have given 0 stars if i could. server didn't refill our drinks, which is fine, i don't care so much about that, however my sister didnt finish all her food that was on her plate, but the host got mad at us and he said that we were "wasting food", and even after all that, he pressured into giving a tip. if you want a chinese buffet, go to king buffet in pelham. read more

I've eaten here several times; it is located in Montevallo, a small community, but obviously with great restaurant choices. The staff and owners are attentive, pleasant, and always greeting you with a smile. The food is freshly cooked and they ensure refilled often. Not only this, it taste good as well. I noticed there weren't many reviews or photos on Yelp; so I asked the owner if she'd heard of Yelp, she said no so I told her about it and asked for permission to take photos of the menu and buffet. She agreed and said thank you! Obviously you know I'll return lol. If you're ever in Montevallo or the Shelby County area, stop by. Prices aren't bad either that's a plus. read more

Prices are fair and the people are very nice. I enjoy getting the take out plate. Food is always amazing and they always have more stuff coming out. However sometimes I do get the uncomfortable feeling that they watch you while doing your take out plate. Other than that great food and sweet people! read more

Went in for a take-out BUFFET on 5/12/2021. Supposedly all you can eat, right ? Well, they have reduced the size of the take out box so you can only fit about $3.00 worth of food in it, they have gone UP on the price by over a dollar, oh and now, a small bowl of soup DOES NOT come with the buffet, even though the soup IS ON THE BUFFET. I guess they are trying to run off customers, well, they succeeded. These people are crazy, I'm done with this place. read more

A great small Chinese buffet in Montevallo. The food is as real and as good as it can get. When visiting though, try to avoid their busy hours, as they get packed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Since it is a small Chinese buffet, you do have limited options. So if you're looking for a quick eat, or something simple, this is the place to go. Very clean, nice décor, and great food. The best part is their giant picture of dinosaurs on one wall, and dauphins on the other. Be sure to check them out! read more
