Best is breakfast, most lunches, just stay away from fish and chips, chips ok but fish was not cooked

Great place for a quick breakfast especially if you're staying at the Hampton inn down the street. Great service, good food and charming inside with pretty blue Spanish tile, beautiful beams and exposed wood with sky lights. Ample parking in back too! read more

My boyfriend and I WERE going to go to domingo's today to have some lunch. We parked in the chapala/ domingo's parking lot, ( makes most sense to park there since Domingos is right there ) however we had to stop by O'Reilly when one of your employees ( he was wearing domingo's sweater) yelled at us and started saying we couldn't cross the street if we parked there and that he would call the towing company. I've lived in Goleta MY WHOLE LIFE. My grandpa lives in the neighborhood behind Chapala and Domingos, and never in my life have i been yelled at or disrespected like that. Never going back there, my boyfriend and I will be going elsewhere for our food rather than this place. unacceptable read more

Definitely the best greasy spoon restaurant in town! Best place for a Sunday omelette or Menudo if that's your thing. Service is great everyone's kind, and it's just a great local spot. read more

An O.G. West Coast Diner. A lot bigger on the inside than it looks along the Main Street. Food is a mix of Traditional diner fare and Mexican food as well. Their forte is breakfast and I was happy with my omelette and hash browns. Also coffee (as previously mentioned) very good. Service was fast and extremely pleasant. Parking was super easy and there's a lot in the back. Overall, it's got a locals feel to it. read more

Really good food, amazing staff and friendly service all with low prices. Definitely going back

Been here twice for takeout and so far so good. They have a really good cheeseburger on sourdough and breakfast burrito; at least the bacon, egg, potato one I had. It's difficult to find places that make a good breakfast burrito and most aren't even seasoned! read more

I love Domingo's... the food, the employees, Monica and her family, the old timey diner atmosphere, everything! It was the first place I ever had Saturday breakfast when I moved to Goleta 5 years ago, and I try to go every weekend. I've always been treated like a close friend from the beginning and feel welcome every time I walk in for my weekly visit. Other Yelpers make me crazy with their reviews... especially the ones that start with something like: "Let me just start by saying I've been coming here ALL MY LIFE, so it breaks my heart to have to leave a negative review..." Where are those reviewers first reviews in support of how amazing the place is, especially if they've been coming "all their life"? Yelp often becomes more of a forum for complainers who don't feel like they're getting their way, so that's why I decided to start voicing my support of local businesses I love. To Monica and the weekend Domingo's team, you have the best breakfast spot in Old Town Goleta. Thank you for all you do, and I will see you again soon! read more

Domingo's Cafe is known to have great Brunch entrees and I walk by this place often because it's near my work. We came with a group of about 8 friends and the server did a great job of servicing all of us. I ordered the Double Ortega Burger which was a decent burger but nothing special. I did enjoy the pepper but the meat was average and I was disappointed that I only got one pickle and a tiny slice of avocado on the burger, the patties were small so I feel like it was overpriced. I'm willing to give this restaurant another shot someday since breakfast is their forte and not burgers, my friends' entrees looked delicious so I'm still enthusiastic. read more

Solid, with old town charm. Four both Hispanic and American tastes. Friendly, good service, and with his big sky light and tall ceiling, it's a pretty interesting place architecturally. Used to be the old post office... read more

Friendly and attentive service. Great diner atmosphere. Excellent food. Best breakfast in Goleta.

Not sure how this place has high ratings. Walking in through the back lot you are greeted with a toilet sewer smell. It's so potent it almost was enough for us to loose our appetite. We sat ourselves- per the sign. We were given menus and it took about 5 minutes for someone to take our order. I ordered the menudo. A Sunday morning staple. I tasted the broth and I want to say it tasted almost canned. There was no flavor, no spice. Super bland. Soup was lukewarm. They used lemons instead of limes. A little odd. The pancakes were tough to cut through. Nothing special They are pancakes. Server came to check on us once. All in all. This place is lackluster and food is nothing special. Tried it but not for me. read more

Friendly service and good food. Something for everyone on their menu. Huevos rancheros was really good as was the chicken salad sandwich. Our server, Gail, couldn't have been nicer. Definitely recommend. read more

Our friend brought us here for breakfast before we hit the road out of town and even though it looks small, it was quite a good space. The parking lot is a hit or miss, we got lucky and found d a spot as someone was pulling out. You can enter from the back or front but we entered from the back and were not sure where to go to get someone to seat us, maybe a future suggestion to tell people to go up front or find a table. Anyways the service was slow, our friend told us that's how it is, its great food but you have to wait and when the waitress comes you tell them everything you want in one swoop. So we did and had books and crayons for our little one, got our drinks and then finally the food and they were huge portions and delicious!!!! I had a special that was that day and our friends got some mexican breakfast plates and our little one got a pancake with eggs and potatoes and we all ate until we couldn't anymore. Delicious!!! read more

Still excellent food and service! Had the enchilada omelette with chorizo instead of chicken or beef, and it was excellent (5/5)! Also tried the chili relleno with eggs (4/5) and the pork chili verse omelette (3.5/5). Both were very good but failed to match the taste excellence of the chorizo enchilada omelette. Highly recommended for a great tasting Mexican food breakfast! read more

I came across this place while on business in Goleta. I had to take my lunch and it was only about 10, so I didn't want to quite do a lunch place. The location was easy to find, parking not too bad, although I did go at an irregular time. I got the Santa Barbara omelette. It was pretty alright. The portion itself was huge, but the omelette was pretty watery. There wasn't much cheese and really not much flavor either. The hashbrowns get a whole star themselves, those were quite amazing. The hot chocolate wasn't bad either! The water tasted like it came from the gutter, which is why I ended up ordering hot chocolate so that I actually had something to drink. I'd probably go here again to try something else. But I just wasn't too crazy about what I ordered. read more

Today seemed to be an off day. Waited for 20+ minutes for a breakfast burrito. Perhaps they're short in the kitchen. Not busy when I ordered. Used up all my break and now I can't eat. read more

Domingo's is sooo homey. This normal down-home diner is an oasis in the sea of spit-polish that is SB. They do have some good vegetarian options. Definitely give it a shot if you're in the mood for a classic all-day breakfast. Maybe go somewhere else if you're looking for fancy. read more

I love local places and this is it! Home style feel and nice little breakfast cafe. Breakfast burritos are on point! Maybe one of the best in town with crispy hash browns, eggs cooked just right, and the perfect amount of cheese! I like to get the spicy salsa to top it off. read more

I like this damn place!!! I was in Santa Barbara for a wedding and went to Yelp because I don't try new spots without checking and this place popped up. These guys get it right. I tried the omelet, hash and beans it was great. I wasn't completely full so I ordered more food, so I went for the oatmeal and that was good too. Server made sure we were taken care of at every moment. I'll be back read more

Food tasted great. The server was cool and friendly. Excellent decor, including a photo collage of six family members who fought on combat ships in WW II. I think they have one of those menus that you can close your eyes, and point to something and it will taste great. Oh ya, and they give you warm syrup!! read more

Delicious food! The spicy salsa reminds me of the one my mom used to make! Hot, with a smoky flavor!

Waited until my second visit to post a review. Perhaps my first taste of this joint's nearly perfect Mexican breakfast was a hallucination. My second visit confirmed the place serves very flavorful, fresh tasting traditional Mexican offerings for breakfast that are reasonably priced and served with a smile. The staff clearly cared about my experience both visits- offering a friendly welcome, and professional service. Can't remember ever caring enough about a side dish of beans to write about it. At Domingo's the beans will offer you a creamy, satisfying texture and a complex flavor. LOVE. Chile Relleno with eggs on the first visit and cheese enchiladas with eggs on round 2. Both several steps above traditional with lots of flavor and nearly perfect texture. Get a side of house made salsa. I crave Mexican food, and eat it every chance I get. However, this is the first time I've ever regretted not having a Mexican grandmother who could make me this food. Can't wait for Round 3. read more

We were looking for a good breakfast while visiting the area. Domingo's had great reviews so we decided to stop by. Parking lot was full so that seemed like a good sign. We walked in a were told we could sit where ever we would like. Chose a booth right in front of the bar and then the wait began. Coffee came out, without any cream so we waited. We placed our orders, chorizo scrambles with a sides of re fried beans...and we waited. The owner came by at one point and apologized for the wait and commented that the server said we were starting to look nervous. I think she mistook my look of hunger for nervousness. Our food arrived about 25 minutes later. Everything was fresh and well flavored. Beans were tasty and covered with cheese. Good portion of scrambled eggs and chorizo. I appreciate non greasy chorizo. Decent prices, we left full but a little behind schedule. read more

I was unsure about this place. I was unfamiliar with the location. I had trouble finding parking lot in the back. We saw the place and still weren't sure we were in the right place. Inside most tables were full. Good sign, these people seemed to enjoy. Then we meet Thomas. He found us a table and made us feel welcomed. Someone else brought us drinks. Thomas made suggestions, took our order, took the kid on a tour to get crayons, and brought the wifi password. Kid got waffle, egg and bacon. Waffle was everything it should be, crispy outside, fluffy inside, more surface area than volume. Lots of room for hot syrup in the pourable bottle. Wife got the popular item, Santa Barbara omelette. She finished it off and really liked it. I got chilaquiles with chicken. Gots to eat that with a spoon and the great side of salsa. Food perfect. Service perfect. Ambiance and fun perfect. read more

We have enjoyed our breakfasts here when driving down the coast. Nice patio, good food and very friendly service. Recommend!

Mom and pop's brunch place with very fair prices and huge portions!! The complimentary salsas were perfect, esp the spicy one!! Their Mexican dishes are definitely more popular and I can see why! The rice and beans with cheese was SOOO good!!! It was about $4 for the side. My friends got the breakfast burrito and its monstrous! They couldnt even finish half! I got the egg, biscuits and gravy special. It was not good. The biscuits and gravy was cold when it came out. I would come again but probably try their enchiladas! I saw a lot of people get that and it looks amazing! read more

Excellent food. Friendly service. Interesting interior like an old converted barn with high ceiling. Convenient parking in rear lot.

Meh... This place didn't do anything for me. It may have been what I ordered. I was craving biscuits and gravy for breakfast and it was pretty gross. I only ate it because I was really hungry and knew that we weren't going to be stopping anywhere on our ride back home until we hit Pismo and I couldn't wait that long. The biscuits weren't fresh as I've had them at other restaurants. It would have been cool even if they weren't freshly baked- these just tasted old and not too good. The gravy, I thought didn't taste that great either. I was disappointed. The bagel my friend ordered was burnt. How the hell do you mess that up? Lol. My boyfriend ordered menudo. I had a couple of bites and that tasted good. I wouldn't come here again though. read more

One block away from the Hampton Inn, Domingo's Café serves up some great breakfast. I had the Joe's Goleta Omelette, a large omelette stuffed with lemon chicken, olives, avocado slices, a tasty walnut salsa, and a combination of jack and cheddar cheeses. I chose the potatoes to accompany the omelette. It came with toast too. This place is a treat! read more

I might be biased because I think Mexican breakfast is second to none, but Domingo's Cafe was great. We came in with a group of 9 and they had 2 big tables set up in case a big group like ours came in. The food came out quick and the wait staff was very kind and helpful. I had the Chorizo breakfast burrito and a cup of coffee. The burrito was loaded with flavor and I may have had 3+ cups of the fresh coffee. A few of my friends got the enchiladas with eggs on top (which is the reason we came here after seeing a photo of that on yelp). I don't think any of them left a scrap of food on their plate. Domingo's is definitely worth stopping in whether you're heading to/from UCSB or ending a weekend camping up the 154 like we were. read more
