Great, homey, friendly spot with great ambience in downtown Goleta. Kind of a cross between American and Mexican food for breakfast and lunch I believe. We had two country breakfast and one Santa Barbara omelette. The country breakfasts come with biscuits and gravy. The bacon was so-so but the hash browns were cooked til perfection. Oh Domingo's how happy you make me on Sunday mornings! Chili Verde is always a solid choice, but the specials are soooo good; had the Chili Colorado last weekend and it too was great; meat cooked to perfection and the spice just right. I normally get the hot salsa, but opted to eat my Colorado without salsa or tortillas just so I could enjoy the amazing flavors. I lean toward Mexican food, but the waffles, pancakes, and traditional "American" fare are excellent too. Super-friendly service and coffee is filled promptly w/o being obnoxious - My happy place for sure! The booths and overall decor could be improved, but I prefer they concentrate on delicious and consistent food. Get the special!!! read more

Great find as we were traveling through town. Not fancy but the atmosphere was fun and the service was excellent and super friendly. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it was fantastic and super flavorful. Their green salsa put it over the top. I still could only eat half of it. It was huge. Coffee was a little on the weak side but I would still totally recommend this place. read more

Great find for breakfast in Goleta! If you want a diner style breakfast in a spacious place with great service and parking, this is the perfect spot! They're not a perfect 5 stars, but it was exactly what I just described. I'd really score a 4,5 cause they didn't make their own biscuits. We had a nice birthday celebration for a friend this afternoon at Domingo's. The employees and owner were so welcoming and gracious. The food was delicious too! Everyone was happy with the meals that they ordered. There's a patio and plenty of parking behind the restaurant which is quite nice , considering how hard it is to find a suitable parking space. The food was pretty good, nothing special though. It was pretty busy when we went. Our waiter didn't take our drink order till at least 10 minutes of us being there. We asked for flour tortillas at the beginning to go with our meal, we ended up getting our tortillas after we finished all our food. One of my favorite local spots. I love that it's family owned and all of Domingo's family runs the place, from his wife, daughters, grandchildren etc. The food is great, service is fast and it gives off a wonderful feeling of being at hime. Parking is not great, but doable. It is a must try in downtown Goleta! I have nothing but good things to say. read more

Nice little cafe for weekend brunch. However I wouldn't recommend coming with a group larger than 4 unless you call in ahead of time to reserve a larger space. I came with a group of 8 friends and we ended up having to split up 4 and 4 and on opposite sides of the cafe. It was a very busy Sunday. It took quite a while to get the menus and then our drinks and then even more so our food. However, our waitress kept coming to our table apologizing for the wait, refilling our water and coffee. I really appreciated that because it made us feel that we weren't being ignored it just happened to be a very busy day. So thank you to our waitress! You were very friendly and kind. What I love about Sunday brunches is that there is both breakfast and lunch options. Food was excellent! I had the Chili Size which is an open faced hamburger smothered in chili and cake with your choice of side. I ate it all! Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. read more

Walked to this restaurant from Hampton Inn for a breakfast before heading home. Outdoor patio was cute and clean. Service was quick and friendly. Food was PERFECT! We shared a side salad (yes for breakfast) which was fresh and plentiful. I had one egg scrambled with a side of fresh made salsa and bacon (2 strips) crisp as requested and a short stack. I kept one pancake and gave the rest to my dining companion. He had a side of bacon (4 strips) and rye toast and my pancakes. He doesn't fear carbs! Plus coffee and water. Everything was cooked just right. From the bread perfectly toasted without too much butter making it soggy to the egg being scrambled soft not overcooked and not runny to absolutely wonderful diner pancakes. My boyfriend and I WERE going to go to domingo's today to have some lunch. We parked in the chapala/ domingo's parking lot, ( makes most sense to park there since Domingos is right there ) however we had to stop by O'Reilly when one of your employees ( he was wearing domingo's sweater) yelled at us and started saying we couldn't cross the street if we parked there and that he would call the towing company. I've lived in Goleta MY WHOLE LIFE. My grandpa lives in the neighborhood behind Chapala and Domingos, and never in my life have i been yelled at or disrespected like that. Never going back there, my boyfriend and I will be going elsewhere for our food rather than this place. unacceptable read more
