I'm so glad I discovered Dolled Up Cupcakes 2 years ago! This is my go to spot for cupcakes and any occasion that calls for sweets. I love that they are not located in any "downtown" district (ie. Toronto, Port Credit) as it is a pain to drive all the way down there sometimes. This is pretty local and easy to access for me. They are always consistent with their texture, moisture, sweetness, everything! I always check their Instagram to see what flavours they will have on what day during the week. This helps a lot! Also, every holiday they dress up their cupcakes accordingly. See pics! My fave flavours are vanilla, red velvet and dolce de leche. Everyone must try dolled up! I've gotten all my friends addicted!

We always get cupcakes from here for our work events and its never a disappointment. Super fresh and delicious bite sized cupcakes to regular sized cupcakes with cute packaging. Definitely recommend this place for your sweet tooth craving.

The cupcakes were fantastic! Pre-ordered them for two events, they responded promptly. They change up the menu every week in terms of flavour. You can't go wrong with any of them. My favorite has to be Toasted Coconut! There's nothing sadder than dry cupcakes. This review is based on a drop-in, grab-and-go order. In my hunt for a cupcake spot in the west end, I discovered the Yelp reviews for this place, and visited on a weekday mid-afternoon. First of all, the decor is elegant and absolutely lovely. When you walk in, you feel like you stepped into a fairytale. Wonderful ambiance. However, when we visited, there wasn't much selection (I guess that comes with dropping by on a random afternoon). We ordered a few of the mini cupakes just to try - and unfortunately, they were incredibly dry. Zero to none moisture to the point that they tasted stale. The flavour was definitely there but unfortunately, and sadly, they weren't as fresh as you would hope. Perhaps I visited at the wrong time of day. Or, perhaps the cupcakes are better on a made-to-order basis. But regardless, they weren't the best cupcakes I've had. Overall, 3 stars = for decor, reasonable price point, and friendly staff. But the actual product wasn't too impressive. Note that there is lots of parking, as it's located in a large plaza. For four mini-cupcakes, with tax, we paid around $7.00.

Wow Perfect rating Come here because my daughter wanted cup cakes for her birthday. I did a search on yelp on found this place. Let me start by saying I don't like cupcakes but l like these a lot. This place looks so cool and fancy. Great staff friendly. It was a great find we will be going back very soon. Take a look at my pictures . Pictures dont lie. Yummy

Push pops from Dolled Up Cupcakes

I give the customer service 4 stars but the products a rather lower rating due to the dry cupcakes that I tasted. Cousin ordered a dozen and they looked lovely but it was quite dry and slightly hard on the outside. It was a tad disappointing but the flavour was good just perhaps they were not fresh. My other rating is for a custom order of their vanilla push pops for my daughter's birthday party. They were beautiful and exactly the light pink but I found the actual cake itself to be on the dryer side. It may be a personal preference as I'm used to top notch bakeries around the city and surely Dolled Up Cupcakes doesn't compare on the same league but I agree with other reviewers that it's likely one of Mississauga's best. I would definitely give them another try in the future as I enjoyed the owner's friendliness and the inside decor is very girly nice too.

Dolled Up Cupcakes is one of the best bakeries in the GTA...and it's nut-free. Since my first visit in April, I've been coming here every once in a while to treat myself and whenever I have a gathering with friends/family. The shop is nicely decorated and it feels very welcoming. Mike is always there to greet his customers with a smile. I love that you can always check on their Facebook page to see what flavours are available that day and you can call them ahead of time to reserve whatever you like. Their cupcakes are very moist, and their butter cream/frosting is always nice and fluffy. Best of all, it's not too sweet. (I have an incredibly sweet tooth but I still find a lot of other bakeries make their cupcakes way too sweet.) I've tried about half their flavours and so far, my favourite is green tea...no doubt. Cookies & cream, s'mores please, piña colada, and pumpkin spice are worth mentioning too. It may be a little pricey but it's truly a nice treat every now and then. (If it was less expensive, I may visit Dolled Up Cupcakes a little more than my wallet and body would like me to...) It's also nice to know that whatever is left at the end of the day is donated to local shelters (and I believe after-school programs too).

Rainbow bright cupcake.

The icing is what makes these cupcakes so good. Very buttery and delicious. Prices are a bit high but I don't go too often.

This dessert restaurant is no joke, their menu is so massive it feels like it could rival the Cheesecake Factory's (no exaggeration). While most of it is dedicated to desserts, they do offer food options too, but let's be honest... you come here for the sugar rush. We tried a slice of their Red Velvet Cheesecake, and it was rich, smooth, and everything you want in a dessert. We also ordered a loaded waffle topped with brownies, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, and whipped cream, basically a dessert lover's dream on a plate. Both desserts were fantastic and definitely lived up to the hype. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even with such a huge menu, they made great recommendations. If you're looking for a fun spot to satisfy your cravings, The D Spot delivers.

I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to, simply because I'm not big on sweets. The cake is light and spongey and absorbs the leche/milk very nicely, and makes the entire cake very moist. Vastly different in texture to other cakes that rely more on cream and icing to balance the sponge cake. I found this cake lighter and a really unique flavour/texture. It's sweet with flavour that has depth (not just by using more sugar/syrup) and the hints of milk, strawberries, cream, etc all mesh really well. Glad to have stumbled across a new fave and I'll definitely be back to try the rest of their offerings.

The texture of the croffles had a crispiness on the outside which made this dessert delightful to take a bite into. We chose the Honeycomb, Tiramisu and White Chocolate Matcha. We thoroughly enjoyed each flavour but a personal favourite of mine would be the tiramisu. My friend's personal favourite was the honeycomb. We're both not into white chocolate but to our surprise, we enjoyed the White Chocolate Matcha flavour as well. The matcha's earthiness really complemented the touch of sweetness of the white chocolate. The cream on top of the croffle was also rich and smooth. The ice cream was a good addition. As mentioned in my previous review, the server was friendly and had a warm smile. The place encouraged people to connect with each other and I thought it was a cozy place to do just that. Overall, I would come back again to try out their other desserts.

The cafe was packed on a Saturday afternoon. There were still a lot of pastry options to choose from, but limited flavors on cakes. I got a mochi cookie and a HK pastry that they heated up. Great atmosphere and friendly service! I will be coming back again for another sweet treat soon.
