I find that every time I visit a new-to-me Costco location, I spot some stuff that I either never see at my normal location or that my normal location simply doesn't carry and that is a lovely perk. They wanted to take my equipment from me while I shopped to then be returned when I was finished. I merely wanted to buy some screws but instead ended up sitting in my vehicle in tears after not being allowed into the store.

I returned to Marshalls and found what I needed and went to the till to pay, I mentioned to the clerk that it was very disturbing that they don't offer washrooms to the shoppers, especially seniors, she was very understanding and understood my concerns. She wanted me to speak to a manager I said no, but she called her anyways. The manger came and told me that its a company policy, which I mentioned that the Red Deer branch offers a washroom so why wouldn't they, I then said I probably would not shop there again as it was a huge concern for me to not be able to use the washrooms. Then another manager person came to the till and decided to put me in my place, he told me he would tell me the store perspective and I said no thanks I just want to pay for my stuff and that I would not be back. He then continued to tell me his story, and I said I still would need to use the washroom, he got aggressive with me so I then said I had enough so f--K this, asked for may card back and I was leaving, not to return. He followed me to the door, making a big seen for all to see and hear, he badgered me all the way to the door, even after I asked to please stop he continued. There was only one sales staff working in the watch section and he was helping someone. I saw a lady in jewelry but then she was busy helping a customer. I waited about 10 minutes and the man came running to help which I appreciated his service. After I paid, I went to get the watch sized at the watch repair. The guy working there seemed disinterested and I'm not really sure he enjoys his job. But he took out links and I was on my way. It was a great deal on a watch but as usually, don't expect much with service.

There are some renovations ongoing but the restrooms were in good shape when we visited and the store itself had a great amount of selection in every area from seasonal to cleaning products, toys, toiletries and everything in between. I was shopping for Christmas gifts and bought a pair of athletic pants for my husband for about $20 less than sport apparel shops. After Christmas he tried them on but they were too big. I went back and they didn't have the same pair in a smaller size but I found another pair that I thought he would like. I still had my receipt but it was almost 2 months since I bought them and with a return policy of 10 days I wasn't sure they would allow me. The cashier asked her manager and she said it would be fine. I was happy with the customer service as they went outside of their policy to accommodate. Now the second pair are too small so I'm hoping there won't be a long line up when I go exchange them but at least it's within the 10 days! If you get their loyalty card and register it, I believe the return time is extended to 30 days. Based on this experience I give it 4 stars, however, I would give them 3 stars on the actual store, product, and other experiences I've had.
