It such a pretty store but the staff are sooo terrible especially this middle age hag at the esthetics counter. no good customer service what so ever. I asked for eyelash glue cause its locked which is understandable. but then asks if Im ready to check out and WALKS ME TO THE TILL AND SCANS IT FOR ME I get wanting to prevent theft but going to extreme lengths as such is insanity. Refuse to ever shop there again because of it. Not too mention the lady that had went in right before me didn't go through the same thing but the product got handed to her. I made an online order in March. The app said it was in transit for 2 months! Apparently it takes 2 months for an item to travel from BC to Alberta. Then in May it suddenly says I picked it up when I didn't. How do they "accidently" have it say I picked up? I never received my item, but they kept the money. I tried contacting them and they put me on hold for an hour and then say they are looking into it and then disconnected me. Seems like their scam is to delay you and make you wait and wait and hope you forget about it so they can steal your money! read more

Normally, I wouldn't Yelp a Walmart, but let's face it-- A) Everyone is watching what they spend these days, and B) Walmart employees need hours too. We've been shopping here off and on for some time now. We like paying only a dollar for those Michelina microwave dinners or buying bacon for $4 a pack. Some of those prices will drop your jaw. Today I am feeling particularly smug after finding the last gift I needed for my beloved troll. I went in on the off chance they had an automotive department. Turns out they have a small one in the back of the store. I managed to get my husband floor mats for the truck for $12!! I'm not exaggerating when I say that's at least twenty dollars less than Canadian Tire and their Big name brands. THIS is why I shop here. I can't beat the deals, and I can find almost everything I need in one place. If you're on a tight budget, you might want to check this out. read more

Walmart - Couldn't find a better price for floor mats. - Department Stores Near Me - West Edmonton, Alberta

I like to make a stop at this Walmart since it's located in Meadowlark where my doctor's office is. It's smaller than the supercentre but I find it has a decent selection of items in the food section where the prices are cheaper than the nearby stores. The produce section can have limited items though with just the basics in stock. I find the snacks and canned food section are fine with good prices. As for the rest of the store and items, well it's hit or miss. I was looking for lightbulbs and they only had one brand of the type I was looking for and it was a energy efficient so pricier than others if they had in stock. However, the price I paid for the item was probably cheaper than other stores. Don't expect much help if you need help finding an item. Associates seem to be difficult to find unless you count some of the younger staff who like racing shopping carts in the store as they were on my last visit. The check outs can have at most 5 cashiers working but I find the time in the line ups is never too long so that's good. read more

One star because of the self checkout convenience. Other than that this store is garbage. I was browsing around for stuff to buy with a basket and a few things in it. My wife had a checkup next door and I decided to walk around in the store to pass time and pick up a few things. The security guard kept following me and made me feel uncomfortable. After 15 minutes in the store she asked if I needed help finding something in which I replied that I was just browsing. Store associates didn't ask if I needed help, but the security guard did?! Followed me like I was going to steal something?! I bought the things I picked up, but I will never shop at this store again! Shame on you Walmart for running this kind of establishment. I used to love shopping at Walmart, but never again! That's a promise! read more

Today around 5pm the coustmer service manager was very aggressive and he was yelling at me and my partner and he tried control the situation by saying he didn't like the way we voiced our concerns. He refused to get the store manager and he only had 3 years of experience. He told us that we were swearing at him when we were trying to get the store manager to pass the feedback and we tried to return the laundry hamper when we learnt that it was good for 30 days return and got an duty manager to inform us that we had to contact customer service and submit the concern to a seller. Rudee the customer service manager has to respect customers opinion and not get mouthy with them. They have to listen to customers and treat guests with professionalism. He cannot argue with customers whenever their is an issue. I hope he gets reprimanded from his position. Do not deal with this customer service manager Rudee without any warning of his bad behavior. He needs to be coached and watched for any of his actions. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Went in to the nail salon for a polish change. Gel on fingers, polish on toes. I asked if they could help me find a matching tone. "BB" picked out one shade that did not match and then walked away..... The other worker said that she told her to let me pick when I specifically asked her to help me. Ended up going somewhere else. This Wal-Mart is horrible. Unfortunately it is the one closest to my work so I am forced to go here rather than drive out of my way and waste gas. Where to start? The staff are horrible and lazy. The photo center is a JOKE. They should have someone standing byhind the counter readily available to help considering their self serve photo machines break down every 5 minutes. The "customer service" desk is anything but ... There was some angry looking native woman there the other day and she didn't even look at me while she was returning my item. I dont usually write reviews but after what i saw last night I felt like I had to do something. A woman wanted to return a pair of little girls shoes and didnt have the receipt. The manager, who, in my opinion, was verbally abusive and rude came over to say, at the top of her lungs while making over the top hand gestures that this woman had returned something before without a receipt and that she should just go to a different walmart. ( I beleive she was insinuating that the shoes had been stolen) The loud manager is what caught my attention but it was the woman herself that made me continue to watch what was happeneing. I dont want to invade her privacy by saying to much but I instantly recognized her from a story I followed a few years ago when her husband and friend were both killed by someone while trying to help a stranger being attacked in our city. She went on to adopt the friends daughter also. I am almost certain she probably still receives donations and gifts so im sure she doesnt always have the receipts. After i had finished paying I went to try and find her in the store and found her in the aisel with her basket and a few groceries being yelled at by the same manager that she was already told to leave and the cops had been called. ( I never heard her once say that she had to leave the store during the 1st interaction) so the woman had to leave her basket and groceries right there in the aisel and leave the store. The employee didn't have a name tag on but i waited in my car for the police so i could tell them my version of events based on what i saw but they never showed up that night. If anyone else witnessed this on Sunday night around 10pm please verify my account so that hopefully people choose to shop elsewhere as I will be from now on. read more
