Great place to buy snacks and junk food and soda - fraction of the price of a gas station - I went for some items for KitKat memorial I try to keep looking presentable and loved. This cat in San Francisco got run over by a Waymo. Tragic - the back 1/3 of him got run over by this robot car and it wouldn't stop. Little KitKat used his front two paws to crawl back to the safety of the sidewalk in front of his little Bodega. Everybody knew him - and if you frequent Delirium next door you were his friend. So many junkies tear off and steal everything in sight - even from a cat that suffered such a tragic death. Its a constant battle for me to keep his memorial tree looking decent as screamers pull off anything that is shiny or looks valuable. I do my best to tie things down with wire and rope and buy some little hearts here and photo frames - little paw print this or that. The good people at Waymo could care less - so I step in. This was the day before Valentines day - so lines here were long and everything picked out. Still I found a few things.... mostly for my own kitty. Hes spoiled rotten. Disgusting. Piggy was never like that. read more

This store has items you need but staff attitudes are the worst. I only had jars and put them on the register belt behind another customer who was being rang up. The female cashier looked in my face and said, I'm not open. And that would have been ok except her tone wasn't at all friendly. No greeting, apology or empathy. No sign was visible, and she was presently helping another customer. The line at the only other register open was about 7 customers deep. The young man working the other register was slow and seemingly unconcerned about the number of people waiting while he carried on a lengthy conversation with 2 people. Management must not care because staffing at this location has been bad for a long time. There is a sign on the window stating service dogs are welcome however a lady's poodle was running loose in the store. Sorry can't recommend at this time. read more

If you want to get in and our fast this is not your store. I don't blame the employees but blame the higher ups that do the scheduling. You need more than one cashier to be manning the cash register. The ones that are working are pleasant Ian's trying to help just overwhelmed. read more

The cashier at this location was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I walked up while she was helping another customer. She greeted me, and I told her, "Hi, I need balloons when you're done." She said, "Sure." Once she finished, I walked over to the balloons and waited. Instead of helping me, she took the next customer in line. I figured maybe their few items would be quicker, so I let it go. Then she took the next customer, who had a basket full of items. At that point, I politely said, "I believe I was next for balloons?" She looked at me and said, "Well, you're not in line. You're just standing next to the balloons." I reminded her that she had already acknowledged me and that I had specifically told her I was waiting for balloons. Her response was to make a coughing noise, roll her eyes, and then tell everyone, "Sorry, I guess I'll have to make you guys wait." I've worked retail before, so I understand that things get hectic. I wasn't looking for special treatment I was simply expecting basic communication and common courtesy. What really bothered me was what happened as I was leaving. I heard her tell the people behind me that I "wasn't in line" and had "just cut" them. Thankfully, the customer behind me spoke up and said, "I even knew he was waiting in line for balloons." Her response? "Well, that makes one of us." That level of attitude toward a customer is completely unacceptable. If interacting with the public is that much of a chore, maybe customer service isn't the right position. Absolutely horrible experience. Zero stars if Yelp would allow it. YES I have the right store before you suggest that. The one next to the Starbucks and union building. read more

I went to this store a few moments ago and experienced the worst Customer Service possible. A young lady with black shoulder length did not say hello to me when I asked her a question I said Hi then asked a question. Then when she rang me up she turned her back to help the next person to see if they need help with with the balloons. The lady said I'm fine the cashier proceeded to ask her if she was sure and ask her another question the customer that is. She had me standing there with the money in my hand to pay for my products for about a minute, then she turned around and took the money from me. She didn't say anything to me after I paid for my stuff. I then left the store. She definitely needs to learn how to provide customer service with customers read more

Most unprofessional employees. When did a crop top become dress code? So unprofessional the aisles were a disaster mess all over the floor. Just a disaster. I would have given less then one but there's no option for that. read more

They increased prices to $1.50, regardless of the items saying $1.25 on the packaging. The selection is still good though. Be prepared to spend more than advertised if shopping here! read more

This is the place to find stuff for projects. You can also find stuff here for the kids to keep them busy while at home. This is the snack a poolooza. You can find drinks and chips and everything possible for a long or short trip. This is the first lace for holiday decorations and such for all occasions!! Lines are horrible but that's about it since everything is $1. read more

This Dollar Trees location is one of the most stocked locations in NorCal I have ever seen. I can always find what I need when I come here, at a bargain. Depending on the time of day, I can be in and out or waiting Ina very long line with 1 cashier working (Typical of any Dollar Tree location). I honestly haven't had any issues here. read more

Idk if it's the manager and how they choose to schedule and run their shift or what...but they always leave one poor checker with a huge line. I'm here now and there are literally 7 people in line, and at least 3 other workers doing various things. I know that it isn't the checkers fault, I realize others things have to be done and it gets busy. But it is always like this. This is likely a corporate or big boss issue, refusing to work as many employees as this store needs. And it's both this one and the one by Marshall's. I can never count on running in here "quickly" because more likely than not the line is down the aisle. And I come here a decent amount. Pretty disappointing because I'm sure the checker you leave up there gets a lot of attitude from less understanding customers - which if you've ever worked in customer service you know is a lot. Take better care of your employees! This is such a crap way to treat them. Listen to them and staff appropriately!!! I want to be clear, this is not a reflection on the employees but the management/owners. My cashier was super kind and patient. read more

all dollar trees are no longer $1.oo .. everything is $1.25 to 10.00$ ...be aware !!! there is items at $10.00 , check your RECEIPT $$$$ not advised !!! other items are $3.00 and $5.00 .... so be expecting to be gouged !!! .... read more

I like this one much better than the one in Fairfield. This store always has its shelves stocked. There are always employees around to help. Of course the price of is good because it's all $1.25. It would be nice if it went back down because 25¢ is 25¢, but hey, it is what it is. A lot of times I will drive to this store even though it's farther away because of the fact that it's always stocked, and it's not in the ghetto. I would recommend this one before the one in Fairfield. read more

This store steals your money! They will not give you change. I usually buy things here but never used cash. Today my daughter only needed one thing. I had $2. After the cashier (Vandria) handed her the receipt. I asked where is her change? She stated that "we don't give change and it's only $.65." I said "so you steal my money?" I said "I would have paid with a card if I've known or made aware of that." Then she just points to a sign that says exact exchange or cards. SMH after the fact. I don't know how they can get away with this and what do they do with all the extra money?!?! read more

Dollar Tree - Discount Store Near Me - Vacaville, California

Dollar Tree: the cheapo depot of Vacaville. Located a few blocks south of I-80 in its own building, this is where you can get what you need and save money. Inside, it's a typical Dollar Tree. Features household goods, school and office supplies, and FOOD. I typically get health food when I go here (read: chocolate, spicy tortilla chips, 2-liter Coke). It's not the trendy stuff, but if you just need the basics, Dollar Tree has the basics. It also has a few other things, like greeting cards and balloons. Clean, quiet store, large parking lot. Inconvenient to go to the freeway when you leave. By the way, can the building owner please put the store's marquee on the back of the building too, as this is what drivers see when they drive down Peabody? read more

What a f***ing DUMP. Whomever manages/owns this store ought to be ashamed. Came in on a Friday at 2pm. Walked in and had to step over a bunch of kids backpacks. Hazard. Hello. Floor was disgusting. The music they had playing was hella loud and sounded like it was coming from an 8 track. My iPhone sounds better. This was insane. There was no rhyme or reason for how they had this store set up. Got my a** out of there quickly. Won't be back. The 99 cent store was like Macys compared to this place. Get it together Dollar Tree!!!! read more

The store is not kept up. It is always messy. Shelves' are bare. The product is blocking the aisles and not put on the shelves. Only had one cashier and had a line of about 6-8 people. After about 10 minutes another cashier finally came and opened another line. This is the worst store for not stocking the shelves and customer service. There are other ones in a different city that is so nice, when compared to this one. read more

Please be mindful of how you treat the employees at this store..they are over worked and they do the best they can. If you want to file a complaint it should be about the actual store manager that under schedules and overworks . the store is junky because the managment does not help and dollar tree corp do not want to pay fir more employees to keep clean. . and for those who complain about the shelves being junky its because people allow their kids to play with things and leave them on the floor or misplace thr..customers instead of just throwing stuff you dont want on any shelf please take time to put it back where you got it ir give it to cashier to put back. Rose picked up the phone and called over the loudspeaker that no one should come bc she was not going to help me. I was told that Brea was a manager.. Brea tried to help me.. however. Rose kept talking over her as well. I had to call the Fairfield store to very a number for the corporate office. I left a message for corporate... This post is rated -5 stars!! So are your employees too lazy to collect carts? You just had to put those stupid poles on the cart to make things less convenient for customers with disabilities. For people like me who are handicap and buy water, how the hell do you think making 3 trips back and forth carrying large bottles of water is good for us? You didn't think about customer service, you just thought about yourselves. read more

Dollar tree never seems to have a supply of superior chips (i.e pop corners, pop chips), just the usual surplus pototoe chips from texas. this store was clean, organized for the most part. buys: reading glasses (1) -just bought a few since they break easy or disappear quickly. -store wasn't busy so only one cashier. another came on when the line grew longer. read more

This place is literally a dump. Some of the aisles are so jam packed with boxes of merchandise, abandoned shopping carts, and merchandise on the ground that you can't even walk through. There's trash and merchandise all on the floor, nothing is organized and some of the shelves are completely empty. I felt gross just being in the store, it is absolutely filthy. I walked in, looked around at the mess, and left. Do yourself a favor and go to the one on Helen Power instead. read more

It's a Dollar Tree so don't expect to find groceries here...luckily there's a 99 cent store, Costco, and a Winco down the street so you can buy some inexpensive food items there. They have about what any other Dollar Tree would have...mugs, random candies and decorations, gift items, small boxed snacks/foods, books, etc. I like to come over for their inexpensive gifting items for sale--but you could probably find everything here at your local Walmart for about the same price. This is a very new store so it's very clean and well stocked. All Xmas items are 50% off, so everything is 50 cents! Can't get better than that! They also have Valentine's candy and things out! (A little soon, but okay?) The lines are slow though. Only about 2-5 workers at the store at a time. read more

Nicely arranged store. Because some of the Dollar Tree stores that I've been in are trashed. We went in here looking for something specific. But if you've ever been in a Dollar Tree you know you can't leave without something because "it's only a dollar" They always have their seasonal stuff out and that is usually very tempting and cute. But I'm hooked on their floss sticks and disposable toothbrushes that are like the name brand "Whisps" a small disposable toothbrushes that have a dot of toothpaste on them and you can brush your teeth anywhere. Oh my gosh I love them. And they carry the Scope brand. So whenever I see a Dollar Tree I stop in to clean them out of the little toothbrushes. I'm addicted to them. And I just love to see what else they ought have for a buck!! read more

Store was closed all day due to sanitizing. It would make more sense to sanitize your store during non-operational hours.

I was shopping and the cashier kept telling every customer I am willing to take any spare coins you may have. I understand they may have been short on change but the way she was asking sounded like she was begging for her own pockets. Soooooo awkward. There were other lanes open and the employees were not asking for change. read more

Quite possibility the worst dollar tree that I have ever been to. It is located in a parking lot with closed business (which should have been a warning sign). The parking lot was semi empty (another warning sign). When I walked in the store at first looked decent but upon walking throughout the aisles it was terrible. There was hardly any stock up, everything was a mess and you couldn't find anything. It was so bad that you may have thought the store was going out of business soon. There was only one person checking out people and she was slow as she could be. The manager came out at some point and anyone could tell you that she was lazy as can be. Avoid this store as much as possible and find a better stocked, more organized dollar tree because there are better ones in the area! read more

As I was shopping I heard one of the workers yelling at a cashier that she's not going to switch out any more change from her register and he needs to start asking customers for exact change. She continued to yell, saying if the customers don't like it then they can leave because she doesn't care. As I was walking up to the register to checkout, she was still getting mad at him (Nathan) saying "You need to start asking for exact change or card. If the customer doesn't have it and they get mad then they can leave". I felt bad for the guy and felt uncomfortable. The lady wasn't wearing a name tag, she was a very heavy set lady with a tree or leaf tattoo behind her ear. read more

They have a good variety of products, but they could be quicker to open second checkout lanes when one lane has a line way down the aisle, and worst of all, today, they wouldn't provide a legible receipt. It was blurry with missing numbers and letters, and I needed the receipt for work. You can't even see the prices and date. When I asked to talk to the manager, the cashier said she was the manager and there was nothing she could do since the receipt printer was broken. I said I need a legible receipt for work and asked when it would be fixed and she shrugged. read more

I hate coming here because it seems so unwelcoming as soon as I walked into the door the girls jus stared at us no greet or anything I then asked if they had shopping carts and she said well they're probably already being used. Then I kept walking around and there's a box full of cleaning stuff on the floor where someone can trip on it I brought it to a workers attention and she rudely said "well there's no where to put anything lady" like are you serious this is a joke. Then I'm walking upfront and the cashier is in a verbal confrontation with a client so al I hear is yelling. I hate coming here. I only came because my grandma loves this damn store. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The manager "Rose" is not management material. I haven't seen any manager swear so much on a regular basis, at any business. She also degrades her own employees. Not to mention, she makes it clear who her favorite workers are. A few of the workers I came across, were playing loud offensive music while speaking to customers, while using a lot of bad language on top of that. Very unprofessional Dollar Tree. I don't recommend going to this one in particular, especially with your kids. There was a few workers that were really nice and helpful. There is another "Rose" that works there and she is so sweet. Also the Ass. Manager "Carolyn" is a very sweet and professional Manager. She's the one that should manage the store. Not "Rose". read more

This dollar tree is a decent size and has a pretty good selection. It is the place to go for paper and party supplies. They get random once way more expensive stuff that they sometimes even still sell in stores for like~$10. I've specifically bought brand name OTC medications, nail polish strips, books from Costco and Target $15-20. You have to have a keen eye. I personally love dollar store craft videos and have made some really cool things. My favorite so far is a grapevine wreath with 5 succulents and moss hot glued on. All study purchased from dollar tree and cost $7. They used to sell hot glue guns now they just sell the glue for them. But the good thing about this dollar tree location is it's a block away from 99 cents Only Store, which has a huge variety (though some things more than a dollar now). Check out both and even Opportunity House Thriftstore down the street and get your discount on. read more

I shop here all the time. I have NEVER received worst customer service then I did tonight 10/5/17 at 5pm then with Stacey. She should NOT work in customer service. Stacey after throwing all my ceramic ( breakable) pumpkins into one bag then proceeded to fight with me telling me they only wrap glass. :) I then noticed two broken pumpkins ( that she just bagged after seeing they were broken?!) as I'm paying, and asked her to take those off. Needless to say I will not be returning here. read more
