Great place to buy snacks and junk food and soda - fraction of the price of a gas station - I went for some items for KitKat memorial I try to keep looking presentable and loved. This cat in San Francisco got run over by a Waymo. Tragic - the back 1/3 of him got run over by this robot car and it wouldn't stop. Little KitKat used his front two paws to crawl back to the safety of the sidewalk in front of his little Bodega. Everybody knew him - and if you frequent Delirium next door you were his friend. So many junkies tear off and steal everything in sight - even from a cat that suffered such a tragic death. Its a constant battle for me to keep his memorial tree looking decent as screamers pull off anything that is shiny or looks valuable. I do my best to tie things down with wire and rope and buy some little hearts here and photo frames - little paw print this or that. The good people at Waymo could care less - so I step in. This was the day before Valentines day - so lines here were long and everything picked out. Still I found a few things.... mostly for my own kitty. Hes spoiled rotten. Disgusting. This store has items you need but staff attitudes are the worst. I only had jars and put them on the register belt behind another customer who was being rang up. The female cashier looked in my face and said, I'm not open. And that would have been ok except her tone wasn't at all friendly. No greeting, apology or empathy. No sign was visible, and she was presently helping another customer. The line at the only other register open was about 7 customers deep. The young man working the other register was slow and seemingly unconcerned about the number of people waiting while he carried on a lengthy conversation with 2 people. Management must not care because staffing at this location has been bad for a long time. There is a sign on the window stating service dogs are welcome however a lady's poodle was running loose in the store. Sorry can't recommend at this time. read more

I went to this store a few moments ago and experienced the worst Customer Service possible. A young lady with black shoulder length did not say hello to me when I asked her a question I said Hi then asked a question. Then when she rang me up she turned her back to help the next person to see if they need help with with the balloons. The lady said I'm fine the cashier proceeded to ask her if she was sure and ask her another question the customer that is. She had me standing there with the money in my hand to pay for my products for about a minute, then she turned around and took the money from me. She didn't say anything to me after I paid for my stuff. I then left the store. She definitely needs to learn how to provide customer service with customers read more

Idk if it's the manager and how they choose to schedule and run their shift or what...but they always leave one poor checker with a huge line. I'm here now and there are literally 7 people in line, and at least 3 other workers doing various things. I know that it isn't the checkers fault, I realize others things have to be done and it gets busy. But it is always like this. This is likely a corporate or big boss issue, refusing to work as many employees as this store needs. And it's both this one and the one by Marshall's. I can never count on running in here "quickly" because more likely than not the line is down the aisle. And I come here a decent amount. Pretty disappointing because I'm sure the checker you leave up there gets a lot of attitude from less understanding customers - which if you've ever worked in customer service you know is a lot. Take better care of your employees! This is such a crap way to treat them. Listen to them and staff appropriately!!! I like this one much better than the one in Fairfield. This store always has its shelves stocked. There are always employees around to help. Of course the price of is good because it's all $1.25. It would be nice if it went back down because 25¢ is 25¢, but hey, it is what it is. A lot of times I will drive to this store even though it's farther away because of the fact that it's always stocked, and it's not in the ghetto. This Dollar Trees location is one of the most stocked locations in NorCal I have ever seen. I can always find what I need when I come here, at a bargain. This store steals your money! They will not give you change. I usually buy things here but never used cash. Today my daughter only needed one thing. I had $2. After the cashier (Vandria) handed her the receipt. I asked where is her change? She stated that "we don't give change and it's only $.65." I said "so you steal my money?" I said "I would have paid with a card if I've known or made aware of that." Then she just points to a sign that says exact exchange or cards. SMH after the fact. Dollar Tree: the cheapo depot of Vacaville. Located a few blocks south of I-80 in its own building, this is where you can get what you need and save money. Inside, it's a typical Dollar Tree. Features household goods, school and office supplies, and FOOD. I typically get health food when I go here (read: chocolate, spicy tortilla chips, 2-liter Coke). It's not the trendy stuff, but if you just need the basics, Dollar Tree has the basics. It also has a few other things, like greeting cards and balloons. Clean, quiet store, large parking lot. Inconvenient to go to the freeway when you leave. The store is not kept up. It is always messy. Shelves' are bare. The product is blocking the aisles and not put on the shelves. Only had one cashier and had a line of about 6-8 people. After about 10 minutes another cashier finally came and opened another line. This is the worst store for not stocking the shelves and customer service. This place is literally a dump. Some of the aisles are so jam packed with boxes of merchandise, abandoned shopping carts, and merchandise on the ground that you can't even walk through. There's trash and merchandise all on the floor, nothing is organized and some of the shelves are completely empty. I felt gross just being in the store, it is absolutely filthy. It's a Dollar Tree so don't expect to find groceries here...luckily there's a 99 cent store, Costco, and a Winco down the street so you can buy some inexpensive food items there. They have about what any other Dollar Tree would have...mugs, random candies and decorations, gift items, small boxed snacks/foods, books, etc. I like to come over for their inexpensive gifting items for sale--but you could probably find everything here at your local Walmart for about the same price. This is a very new store so it's very clean and well stocked. All Xmas items are 50% off, so everything is 50 cents! Can't get better than that! They also have Valentine's candy and things out! (A little soon, but okay?) The lines are slow though. Only about 2-5 workers at the store at a time. read more

Nicely arranged store. Because some of the Dollar Tree stores that I've been in are trashed. We went in here looking for something specific. But if you've ever been in a Dollar Tree you know you can't leave without something because "it's only a dollar" They always have their seasonal stuff out and that is usually very tempting and cute. But I'm hooked on their floss sticks and disposable toothbrushes that are like the name brand "Whisps" a small disposable toothbrushes that have a dot of toothpaste on them and you can brush your teeth anywhere. Oh my gosh I love them. And they carry the Scope brand. So whenever I see a Dollar Tree I stop in to clean them out of the little toothbrushes. I'm addicted to them. And I just love to see what else they ought have for a buck!! read more

As I was shopping I heard one of the workers yelling at a cashier that she's not going to switch out any more change from her register and he needs to start asking customers for exact change. She continued to yell, saying if the customers don't like it then they can leave because she doesn't care. As I was walking up to the register to checkout, she was still getting mad at him (Nathan) saying "You need to start asking for exact change or card. If the customer doesn't have it and they get mad then they can leave". I felt bad for the guy and felt uncomfortable. They have a good variety of products, but they could be quicker to open second checkout lanes when one lane has a line way down the aisle, and worst of all, today, they wouldn't provide a legible receipt. It was blurry with missing numbers and letters, and I needed the receipt for work. You can't even see the prices and date. When I asked to talk to the manager, the cashier said she was the manager and there was nothing she could do since the receipt printer was broken. Quite possibility the worst dollar tree that I have ever been to. It is located in a parking lot with closed business (which should have been a warning sign). The parking lot was semi empty (another warning sign). When I walked in the store at first looked decent but upon walking throughout the aisles it was terrible. There was hardly any stock up, everything was a mess and you couldn't find anything. It was so bad that you may have thought the store was going out of business soon. There was only one person checking out people and she was slow as she could be. The manager came out at some point and anyone could tell you that she was lazy as can be. Avoid this store as much as possible and find a better stocked, more organized dollar tree because there are better ones in the area! read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The manager "Rose" is not management material. I haven't seen any manager swear so much on a regular basis, at any business. She also degrades her own employees. Not to mention, she makes it clear who her favorite workers are. This dollar tree is a decent size and has a pretty good selection. It is the place to go for paper and party supplies. They get random once way more expensive stuff that they sometimes even still sell in stores for like~$10. I've specifically bought brand name OTC medications, nail polish strips, books from Costco and Target $15-20. You have to have a keen eye. I personally love dollar store craft videos and have made some really cool things. My favorite so far is a grapevine wreath with 5 succulents and moss hot glued on. All study purchased from dollar tree and cost $7. They used to sell hot glue guns now they just sell the glue for them. But the good thing about this dollar tree location is it's a block away from 99 cents Only Store, which has a huge variety (though some things more than a dollar now). I shop here all the time. I have NEVER received worst customer service then I did tonight 10/5/17 at 5pm then with Stacey. She should NOT work in customer service. Stacey after throwing all my ceramic ( breakable) pumpkins into one bag then proceeded to fight with me telling me they only wrap glass. :) I then noticed two broken pumpkins ( that she just bagged after seeing they were broken?!) as I'm paying, and asked her to take those off.
