A bit disorganized at times, but this Dollar Tree location seems to have a bit more selection overall in products than some of the other locations area. This is particularly true of items like housewares and decorations, but does not always have the items I'm looking for. Still, I appreciate having additional options available. Parking is not too difficult, but the parking lot can get quite busy with the Fresh International Market and Target pulling in a good number of customers on each end of the plaza. Checkout is not super fast, but there's generally a few cashiers in the front so you don't have to wait too long. Aisles are a bit compact, but you don't typically run into much of an issue of crowdedness due to the overall size of the store. Overall, worth a quick visit to find some bargains if you happen to be shopping in the area. read more

This is my local dollar store and I love it! Where else can you get Sunday papers for $1!? I go every Saturday to pick up a Sunday newspaper for $1 with no tax of course. But they have a ton of other items I come here for. Storage containers to put cookies in that I hand out, party supplies, various household things like aluminum foil and super glue. I don't go near the food items because they seem a bit scary here....but sometimes you can find great name brand food items here at a great deal! Same goes for makeup...I steer clear except when i see a Cover Girl eyeshadow! Score! They have really cute gift bags for $1 plus other wrapping supplies...not to mention helium balloons! I honestly don't know where else you can get party supplies for so cheap. It's always fun to come here and see what you may find! This particular dollar store is much more clean than others I've been in and much better kept than others as well. Most of the workers are very friendly, too. Plus the clientele are just a tad less shady than other dollar stores. Yep, I'm a fan. read more

Decent store, usually semi-busy & basically what you expect for a "Dollar Store". Some cute cards, or gift wrapping stuff, and seasonal things, each only for $1. They actually have Halloween Fairy wings for $1! Pink, purple or green! Pretty excited about that, I needed some cheapie cheap wings like that, they don't have to last long, but I don't really care to spend very much, so glad I popped into the Dollar Tree! Maybe I would be able to give more than 1 star if I had been able to actually walk into the store! On my way home from picking up my dog at the vet, I decided to stop quickly at this Dollar Tree so I can get a few cleaning supplies. My dog is a tiny Pomeranian that I always put in my jacket when we run into a store. There has never been an issue and I figured since I was only grabbing a few things, this time would be no different. Well, I was wrong! I didn't even get a foot into the store before the cashier started YELLING at me that no pets were allowed in the store. When I tried to explain that I only needed a few things and I'd be fast and I couldn't leave her in the car he just started yelling even more that I needed to leave. Needless to say, I'll never be returning here. If he had told me politely that I couldn't bring her in, it'd be a different story. But that fact that he felt it necessary it yell is just disgusting! read more

I come in this Dollar Tree only when absolutely necessary. They only have one person running the checkout, all the time. I just walked in, and there was 20 people in line. The cashier is making balloons while we all stand in line. No amount of complaining works. The usual checker is BEYOND rude. Wish I knew her name. But you say hi, she ignores you. She never asks "How did you find everything," or "Did you find everything OK?," like all the other checkers do. You say goodbye and have a nice day and she doesn't even respond. Again, don't know her name... young woman. And I was just checked out by some young guy, who 10 minutes later, finally opened up a second line. Same thing as with the young woman aforementioned. This store sure doesn't hire the best. Reflects poorly on management, let me say. read more

I came here on customer appreciation day usually they give me the 10% coupon at the register in this case they are being so stingy about it she said we needed to print it out When I went to a different dollar tree a few weeks ago I didn't even know about the customer appreciation coupon and the lady behind the register just gave it to me In this case it seemed like they just were being stingy I don't believe the idea that they need the coupons to account for the savings at the register Also when we brought our stuff to check out no one was at the register but the lady clearly saw me and she still didn't come right away There was a bell at the register and it said please ring for hot so of course we dead and when we did she was annoyed Soon enough there were about six people behind me waiting to check out There was another guy there that just looked at me and was not interested at all in helping out he looked away and kept moving even though he didn't seem to be doing much seemed like he was just wondering despite the fact thst he worked there Things like this generally prevent me from entering the store again in this case they lost another customer on customer appreciation day read more

Yes!! everything is a dollar only. This location is right next door to Target. So I do stop here for dollar stuff when I can. Great buys here are like, sandwich bags, or gift bags and party decorations!! I have bought a whole bouquet of helium balloons here before and just one dollar each balloon!! What a great deal!! Because I like collecting make-up, One thing I always check out is their make-up aisle too. I've picked up some well known products such as Cover girl, Maybeline, to Sally Hansen products here before. The staffs here are ok... guess they just do their jobs. read more

I would like to share a story of dishonesty from store #833 in Schaumburge, IL on Higgins Road. I walked into the store just before closing (literally I was told I had two minutes to find the product I needed). I found it and approached the register. The product I purchased came to $1.02. I was given my change and started to head towards the exit when I noticed the change I was only given $0.97 in change. I approached the young lady (I believe her name was Alexis) and confronted her about only giving me 97 cents and not 98 cents. She looked at the evening manager (that what I believe he was) and mentioned that she needed a role of pennies. My suggestion to her, and I made my opinion well known, is that she intentionally gave me $0.97 to avoid giving me the penny she was missing in the till. This email is not about a penny. This email is about the honesty and integrity of the employees you hire. What surprised me the most is this young lady felt no remorse over her actions and ACTUALLY denied any wrongdoing. She suggested she simply miscounted when she gave me back the change. In reality, her actions speak so much louder than her words. For her to even suggest that she miscounted yet AGAIN represents her dishonest actions. There is no way she miscounted, because she requested a role of pennies when I approached her about the "mistake" that had been made. She knew exactly what she had done! She intentionally did this because she didn't have one extra penny in the till. I hope you know these actions go beyond just dishonesty and I believe your response to her actions should follow suit. read more

Found exactly what I was looking for and when I was done, went right to a register to ring me out so I didn't have to wait. Now that's customer service! I love dollar stores for the sake of buying things I don't really need. This place is like your every other dollar store and its nice that everything in there is actually a dollar!
