I went there twice this week & the Halloween section is A-mazing! Compared to other stores there is a lot of room to shop & the isles are not narrow. They have working price checkers as well. Very friendly staff. In the past it was kind of hit or miss with that. My only negative comment would be they need to have more push baskets. They go fast. I always get 1 from the parking lot if I see it. This way I have it ready to shop. Recently I went to a Dollar Tree a couple of weeks ago & they were all out of the push baskets. So I left. Who wants to put a bunch a stuff in a tiny basket you have to carry. I have some health issues & need the push shopping carts. This $ Tree is great in every way.

On a late Saturday morning, the clientele were in the generally more elderly and calm category. They have a couple of extra wide aisles, so it may be a little more spacious here than in the average Jewel. Great and convenient strip mall location also at the intersection of Dempster St and Elmhurst Road. The self-checkout station also took cash in the form of a bill and coins and it was entertaining to see the klunky machine at work and returning change! No complaints for our only visit here.

Since the surrounding area is filled with a mixture of apartment buildings and homes, many of their items fall into the realm of home goods. Anything from curtains to tea sets, rugs, some throws, kitchen utensils, costume jewelry, Lottery and more. Especially useful for those that lack transportation to "big box" stores, there are some (decent) home goods that could meet your mark. My intention was to find dollar quality cabinet liners and or a cheap but useful stapler. Both were over my spend amount, so I opted for purchasing from the hardware store.

One 'uppity' person working who doesn't acknowledge you when you walk in, someone who seems to be 'put out' because you're actually buying something, thus giving her a task to perform (while making no small talk) and doesn't thank you for supporting the establishment. Wow. Completely tacky. Maybe if I looked differently I would have been treated differently. No, she didn't seem to be having a bad day; she was very chatty with the customer before me; who was also much older than I. Still way too overpriced for most things. Officially will not be back. When I came in I headed toward the order pickup section. When I arrived at the "self pickup", nothing made sense. I didn't have anything that corresponded to the number system they had so I didn't know where the heck to pick up my item. Their site didn't indicate they offered curbside pickup (I checked my email just in case I'd misunderstood how I was to pick it up). I called and was on hold about six minutes because no one ever picked up. (There were 20+ people in line and I didn't want to wait around there just to be told to go elsewhere; what's the point of pickup if not to be quick?) Finally I found an associate not behind a cash register and he went to get my order, which was in the back and not at all in correspondence to the system they had out on the floor. I guess maybe they expect people to stand in line? But that doesn't make sense when their pickup system says you should check your email to pick up your item. I don't know.

My ma asked me to pick up 1-3 Valentine's Day balloons for my teenaged daughter and I was coming from Schaumburg, so this was the most logical stop. The store anticipated the balloon purchases and had tons of balloons filled and ready to go! All I had to do was reach up to pick the ones that I wanted and get in line to pay. I also picked up some last minute Valentine's Day purchases for my daughter--a jar of Jet Puffed Marshmallow fluff for her latte concoctions at home, a couple of bags of Lesser Evil coconut oil and Himalayan salt popcorn, etc. I was super surprised to see the Lesser Evil brand on the shelf at the Dollar Tree, but was equally grateful! The cashier I had was so friendly and helpful. The lady in front of me had purchased 5 balloons and when she walked out the front door, 1 had detached from the string and floated away, leaving the white ribbon in her hand. The patron came back in and explained the situation and my cashier paused my transaction, asked her for the remaining ribbon, and told her to go pick out a new one ASAP! So kind! She also recommended a recipe for the marshmallow fluff when ringing me up (Marshmallow fluff + Cool Whip to make a festive fruit dip!). Let's start with the fact that the application that you use to put in an order is very rudimentary in functionality. You cannot reschedule you cannot cancel. You cannot edit your order. Sam's Club or better yet the Walmart corporation needs to invest some money in order to fix this particular app Further, once you check in at the club that you have parked and you indicate your parking spot I have never waited less than eight minutes for someone to come out with my order. This is absurd because I wait less time to get gas at Sam's. What's even more annoying is that my phone will indicate that I've already picked up my order and yet the Sam's Club employee still has not exited the building with my order so someone is gaming the system to show that they in fact, moving faster than they really are. So the three stars are quite simply because of the horrible wait time the horrible app the inability for the Walmart corporation to actually improve this let alone the Walmart corporation interest in improving it does not exist. Also, whoever set up the parking spots for pick up was not thinking because all the parking spots are right on top of each other, which does not allow the Sam's Club employee to maneuver or get around with those huge carts that they are pushing. Someone clearly was not thinking again.

The store is clean, organized, and easy to navigate, which makes shopping quick and efficient even when it's busy. The staff have always been friendly and helpful whenever I've needed assistance. One thing I really appreciate is how well stocked everything usually is, especially the everyday essentials and bulk items. The checkout process is also smooth, and the Scan & Go option makes it even faster. This trumps Costco for me and I love Costco! Also curbside is the best! Lots of pick up options, often same day! Overall, this location does a great job maintaining a positive shopping experience. I always leave feeling like it was worth the trip. Definitely a reliable Sam's Club! Yes they do scan the receipt I have had a full cart, receipt scanned, or two items receipt scanned I guess it just depends and doesn't bother me.

Unfortunately, I needed to remove the original wooden stretcher bars located in the back of the painting just so I could fit them in my luggage. Fast forward 2 years later and these paintings still haven't been stretched! I shopped around and I decided to go with Art Distributors since they quoted me at a fraction of that cost of what other framing companies presented me with. On top of that, other framing companies told me that it would take two weeks for the stretch job. No, thank you! The staff was great and their framers knew exactly how to handle my artwork. Their service was very fast and efficient and I picked up my artwork within a couple days. I was very pleased at their work and I absolutely loved how my paintings looked!! I'm finally able to hang these on my wall to show off to my guests. I loved their work so much that I decided to bring in my painting that I purchased on my recent Hong Kong trip and I also decided to frame my Chicago Tribune newspaper the day after the Cubs won the world series. When it was time to pick up my additional artwork/newspaper I was amazed and everything looked so stunning!!
