In the past, I would have been hesitant to visit this location due to the gruff-ness of the staff I have encountered multiple times before, but forced location on Valentine's Day 2026 has changed my perspective of this Dollar Tree! My ma asked me to pick up 1-3 Valentine's Day balloons for my teenaged daughter and I was coming from Schaumburg, so this was the most logical stop. The store anticipated the balloon purchases and had tons of balloons filled and ready to go! All I had to do was reach up to pick the ones that I wanted and get in line to pay. I also picked up some last minute Valentine's Day purchases for my daughter--a jar of Jet Puffed Marshmallow fluff for her latte concoctions at home, a couple of bags of Lesser Evil coconut oil and Himalayan salt popcorn, etc. I was super surprised to see the Lesser Evil brand on the shelf at the Dollar Tree, but was equally grateful! The cashier I had was so friendly and helpful. The lady in front of me had purchased 5 balloons and when she walked out the front door, 1 had detached from the string and floated away, leaving the white ribbon in her hand. The patron came back in and explained the situation and my cashier paused my transaction, asked her for the remaining ribbon, and told her to go pick out a new one ASAP! So kind! She also recommended a recipe for the marshmallow fluff when ringing me up (Marshmallow fluff + Cool Whip to make a festive fruit dip!). Based on my most recent experience, I would definitely be back for a need soon! read more

The cashier Elizabeth smelled so so bad I almost threw up! and there no reason anyone should not take care of their hygiene working as a cashier... I mean I would never come on here and do this unless it was an absolute must! The manager must talk to her about this!!!! It doesn't make sense to me that every Dollar Tree carries different merchandise, but they do. This store was well organized according to the standard planogram, so it was easy for me to find what I wanted. I got everything on my short list and items do actually cost $1 or 2/$1. They had a nice selection. read more

This store is always out of things! I go there everyday to check if they brought in the items I'm looking for! I'm told it will be in next week or Management did not order anything or forgot to order the items! This location is 2 minutes from my house, but when they don't have what I need. I have to travel to another location, which is just time consuming to me! The service is Horrible, items are all over the place. Dirty! Not Organized! Staff and Management are very rude and not helpful at all! Hey Dollar Tree get things organized and have items we need available! This store jumps from a one star to a 5 star! The store is stocked right away and has become so nice and neat. The manager is doing a fabulous job! This store has now become one of my favorite Dollar Tree locations. Love it! read more

I visited this particular Dollar Tree on 11/20 to purchase a few items. I purchased some twister juice. As I was drinking the juice on lunch, I noticed that the juice expired back in August. I took the juice back to the store after I had gotten off and spoke with the manager. I informed her that I had checked the expiration date on those juice and they were all expired. She stated that she could not issue me a refund and apologized about the expired juice. However, she did offer for me to exchange it with something else. She stated to me that those juice would be removed at the end of the day. I wanted the same item that I purchased but chose something else due to them being expired. Fast forward, I visited the same Dollar Tree this morning and those same juice were on the shelf. Expired and all. I took pictures and will be contacting their corporate office. I will also go back to get the manager's name as I did not see her this morning. Needless to say, that particular location will never get any business from me again. Pics are attached. read more

Store is well organized and well stocked. It's easy to find what you need here and more!

It's hard to find something not to love about this place. The staff are all friendly, helpful and professional. The place is sparkling clean. The merchandise is always top notch. You can find brand name products- soap, makeup, toothpaste, nail polish. The list is endless. You will find everything you need for entertaining an decorating. I could go on and on, but you won't believe it until you see for yourself. Check it out- you won't regret it : ) read more

This is one of my favorite Dollar Tree location! The store is huge! You don't end up bumping in to people or items because people can get by you as you shop. They are always well stocked and they always have a great assortment of name brand items and seasonal items. I would give it 5 Stars but sadly most of the employees are not friendly. read more

11/2020 We enjoy this store. But it usually not the most orderly. Kind of sloppy inside.

I walked in around 3:30pm on 05/21 asking for balloons. The lady took me over to the area where they are done and I asked for 10 white latex balloons. She pulled out foil balloons and I said "do you have any latex balloons?" She slammed the drawer of balloons walked away and ask her back was to me she said "we don't do that here, we sell latex balloons over there," and pointed to an aisle. Then I asked her if I bought them if she'd fill them. She kept walking away from me and said "no. We don't do that here. Nowhere does that." I kindly said thanks for the help and walked out. Working in the retail and serving industry, I know not to ever argue with an employee. That's not my cup of tea, I do not like to make scenes. But I also know how customer service works, or even common courtesy. It's rude to speak to customers like that. read more

Shopped here on and off for two years, always found items on the shelves that were anywhere from 3mo-1 year expired. They need to check their shelves more often. Plus many of the associates always seem like they would rather be swimming in a tank full of sharks than be there. read more

It's convenient that it had nice things so cheap, but I had to ask an employee where the tape was three times and she just kept telling me the aisle number and it was never there, only duct tape, and I finally just figured I'd get it somewhere else and I found it in the register lane. I think Dollar Tree is the best chain of dollar stores. Sometimes I don't even think of it as a "dollar store." It's just too fabulous. I was looking for some shiny disco ball ornament like things for one of my creative endeavors I'm always working on to decorate my house. They had the PERFECT sequined disco ball looking ornaments to satisfy my need to decorate my house like a the Barbie Dream House meets Marilyn Manson. The effect I was looking for was totally complete! This store, like all Dollar Tree locations is always clean and organized and has a pretty good selection of most everyday basics one would need. I have always had good luck here too finding costume accessories, inexpensive holiday cards or basically any type of party decorations. Great place! Nice to know they exist everywhere in the city and suburbs so when I'm out and about running errands, I can pop in and grab what I need! read more
