Like a Walmart where you can find everything you don't need lol. Fun to shop around and see merchandise catering to asian sentiments. Housewares, camping gear, kitchenware, pets, plants, school supplies, umbrellas, fans, cooking ware and supplies, snacks, automobile knickknacks, laundry paraphernalia, cleaning supplies, and more. Beware you might just find something useful.

Many reviewers mentioned that Daiso is located across from H-Mart, for me, I found it just a couple stores away from 85°C Bakery Café. I love stores like Daiso, a very well-organized Japanese dollar stores that sells a great variety of merchandise, and many of them are fun and cute. You can find home goods, organizational items, toys, stationery, snacks...both practical items and things that you don't really need. It is a pretty large store that I could spend hours happily browsing. The cashier right by the front door was very friendly and welcoming, her greeting me with a big smile really created a great first impression. I was shopping for a pair of slippers for my husband, and I was happy to find a section with a large selection of those. Since they have an "all sales final, no refunds and no exchanges" policy, I will either bring my husband or come back to have a better look when I can spend more time choosing. I will be happy to return!

New Daiso store across from H-Mart and next to Tsaocaa--you could have quite an enjoyable afternoon just hopping between the stores. The new store is large and well organized, with gift items, housewares, stationery, cleaning, snacks, candy and more. They had a large section of organizational supplies -- I was just at The Container Store and spent a lot more for similar types of items. Most everything is $1.75 unless marked. They even have a few self checkout stations. The only thing I couldn't find was the dried lemons I bought at the Daiso in Willowbrook. :( But I found everything else and more!

Huge store with lots of things at $1.75 which has Hello Tokyo lowering their cost nearby in Niles. Must stop when you are visiting Chicago area. We came here at grand opening and luckily scored the goodie bags around noon. Tote bag is nice size and heavy duty. Also shocked to find a plushie bunny in the goodie bags so something for kids too. Cell phone cord protector looks useful to try out and chopsticks are nice touch too. Hello kitty zipper bags and drink are also cool to try out. Also got 10% off coupon to use next visit but have to wait until 3/22:(

Twenty days after my initial review and somehow this location still doesn't have bags.

Daiso is a fun new Japanese dollar store to putz around in.  The base item price here is currently $1.75, but goods can go anywhere from that price up to $15.25 according to their sign.  Our grand-darlings could spend hours in here putzin' around too.  It's that kind of store and they also have a pretty big footprint.  This store is located in the strip mall housing the Super H Mart and Home Depot so it's a great, convenient location too.  Welcome to Niles!

I thought this place was going to be another Hello Tokyo, however it's different in that it's really more like a dollar store with home goods. There are still stickers, toys, etc but it's not the majority of the store. In order to figure out the price of an item you have do a conversion to take it from the JPY to USD. There's lots of signs posted so it's easy enough. If there are no prices, then the costs drops to only $1.75. If you're looking for an inexpensive home goods then this is a great option. I ended buying some bookends, which appear to be working great and simple enough to purchase. There is one in person cashier and two self serve kiosks. Doesn't appear to be any point card programs (at least not yet). Parking is pretty easy, but may there may be a lot of H-Mart traffic depending upon the time you go there.

Staff were nice but products were less than desirable. If you're looking for things you don't need, they have it.

Ok! Now where do I begin? As an avid Dollar Tree shopper I was bummed to see the Dollar Tree…read morelocation on Waukegan Rd & Dempster St shut down, but I was well aware that it would be soon after the closing of the Salvation Army in the plaza. Its location sat perfectly enroute to my destination, so I made regular trips to it. Upon it closing, the clerks informed customers of this location on Golf Rd & Washington Ave and best believe I mapped it out being that I am an avid shopper at Dollar Tree. I regularly visit with the interest of purchasing supplies I use daily such as deodorant, body wash, toilet paper and mailing envelopes which are just a few supplies that keep me in-and-out of Dollar Tree regularly. And on occasions I purchase decorations to hang on my door that pertain to our seasons which all cost no more than a dollar! Prior to visiting this location I gave myself a 10-minute shopping window because I can easily get lost in looking at dollar items sold. I also make out a list of what I need prior to walking in so that I do not purchase useless things that I may not need at the moment. The inner interior of the store mirrors other locations, but the store set-up slightly differs. And the items presented are typical to any other location, but as like other stores there is always something a tad different in comparison. In this case, I took notice of the 7 pound bags of 'Premium Ice' inside the freezer which was the number one thing that caught my eye during this visit. Whoever would have thought that Dollar Tree would have access to ice because I sure did not! Never seen it until I visited this location. As for parking, this location does have parking that is fitting to the store yet it seems so congested due to there being other businesses coinciding with it in Washington Commons - Shopping center. Even though I go out of my way to visit this location, the thought of purchasing my typical needs for only a dollar outweighs the extra trip out. And lastly, the customer service I received was pleasant! And none less than good. Thomas G

We have been hearing about this strip mall in Morton Gro being torn down for years. The rumors of…read morewhat was going to become of this mall, so many variations of what is going in here. They are actually in the process of doing just that. Sad to say the whole mall where my LA Fitness is at is being demolished one building at a time. First the store on the Far East side of the mall was torn down last summer. The former Dominick's has been vacated for several years, that was just torn down. Next they are going back to the east side and tearing down the stand alone Salvation Army Store. Next little piggy to go after the Salvation Army Store is The Dollar Tree. Wahhhh cry me a River. I was told they are going to relocate somewhere about 2 blocks away I have used this store from time to time because of the convenience & location a few doors over from my LA Fitness. I lost my lock one day and came here and bought a lock for you guessed it $1. They also have greeting cards from 2 for $1 or $1/a piece instead of paying $4 or $5 dollars for a card someone is going to read, look at and toss out. I don't mean to be cheap, but if you can save a few bucks why not especially knowing that the card will probably be looked at & tossed out. As of Feb 01, 2019 Dollar Tree is still there, but I'm afraid their days are numbered as demolition is imminent
