Very rude. The staff never greets me when I walk in. They are sooooo over priced! Skip this shop and go where you are appreciated!

When I stopped in with my little one they had a bunch of Halloween-themed items and home decor. There's also some cosmetic/skin care stuff that they carry, though home decor items seemed to be their biggest focus. It doesn't seem like a shop I'd be interested in purchasing from, but they have a good variety of stuff. It's somehow connected to Edie Boutique next door, since it's a shared space and I'm not sure that Marigold has its own entrance.

It's a cute little shop in downtown Park Ridge among a few others. The difference between here and…read morethose is the price & service. Their boutique is highly priced for profit and I totally get it - we all have to make a living. For example, they sell Geometry brand towels for $2 more than I've seen them anywhere else. They also had a 30% off Christmas items sale so I decided to purchase an ornament that said Park Ridge in that Rae Dunn style. It didn't have a price tag but I figured heck, why not support small business! Service was a bit of a miss that day and the lady let me know that because those ornaments are sold all year, they weren't included in the sale. I still bought it hopeful to support local and could not believe my total was $26. Full of regret, I'll hang it every year and share the story with grandkids to come LOL. Also, service was a bit of a miss as mentioned because the other associate looked at me asking if I was ready to purchase, even though she wasn't prepared to ring me up. I've visited twice and service and I've still purchased during both visits. It's not a store that stands out imo and I won't frequent again unless a friend insists. The Edie boutique next door has never greeted me and sells $90 sweaters so I'm pretty sure they're related. But don't let me stop you! Check it out for yourself and decide how much you want to support local.

They have snacks, stationery items, collectible toys, makeup, haircare, houseware, and etc. It is similar to Daiso but more expensive with higher-end Japanese items. They also sell Korean skincare items. They have claw machines for people to play. The store is big and clean. Everything on the shelves were very neat and well stocked. The employees were nice. The checkout was quick and no line. It wasn't busy when we were there. We were there on a Saturday night, three hours before they closed. There is a big parking lot. There are also reward points to collect. I will be back for sure, and hopefully they will open the Naperville location soon, since it is closer than this location for us.

When you walk in you're greeted with rows of blind boxes of various kinds. I ended up getting a sunny angel to open, which was kinda fun. The best part of the snack aisles. Endless options of chips, candies and drinks to try. My only grief is the cost of everything. You can go to Daiso, or an Asian Market in the area to get some of the snacks for a fraction of the price. I will say that their home and beauty section is superior. I saw folks stocking up on skincare and I certainly need to spend more time there next time. The staff were super friendly and willing to help. They also checked in to make sure we didn't need anything during our shopping experience. Overall we had a great time and would venture back to find new interesting snacks to try.
