Maybe do your job as outlined instead of blaming & harassing customers?

Still waiting to hear from their Claims dept (Sedgewick) re: the nightmare employees of Morton Grove Dollar Tree. Got paint all over clothes and post surgical brace/glove and was told "you customers make a mess, oh well" This child also laughed and said "Sorry you can't see" Um, I have horrible vision and glasses. Insulting & laughing at that? We shall see. Place is always a FILTHY mess with crap in all the aisles - OSHA lawsuit from 2022(?) ring a bell? When I Karened out and asked for a manager I was told they don't have one , they have no staff and was then video recorded by the "acting manager" (terrible acting fyi) on her PERSONAL CELL PHONE. Psycho. The regional mgr did reach out 2x and I never heard from her again, tho she did say employees may NOT record people on their cell phones. Never heard from her again. She'll hear from me very soon

I don't get this. I put this into the Yelp system and wrote a review. I checked in yesterday and my review is gone. I was the first one but my review was deleted. ?????Why????? Anywho Dollar Tree is one of many discount stores poping up. This one is in the new mall by Dempster & Waukegan in Morton Grove. A few years the entire mall was torn down including LA Fitness that I use to go to and an entirely new mall was built. There was a Dollar Tree store in the west end of the mall but it was torn down w/the demolition of the mall. The new Dollar Tree is on the east side of the mall. It's brand spanking new and has merchandise for $1 (Go Figure). They have a whole assortment of items for inexpensive. The only problem is they are so cheap you tend to grab things that you may not Necessarily need. Snack items, cleaning supplies: frozen foods..... I buy greeting cards there for $1. I meant who wants to pay $5 for a greeting card that someone looks reads, looks at & tosses out when for $1 you can convey the same message. The other thing I like are the Mylar balloons filled w/helium for birthdays, anniversaries or whatever for you guessed it $1. Can't Beat that

    Brand new strip mall storefront.

Ok! Now where do I begin? As an avid Dollar Tree shopper I was bummed to see the Dollar Tree…read morelocation on Waukegan Rd & Dempster St shut down, but I was well aware that it would be soon after the closing of the Salvation Army in the plaza. Its location sat perfectly enroute to my destination, so I made regular trips to it. Upon it closing, the clerks informed customers of this location on Golf Rd & Washington Ave and best believe I mapped it out being that I am an avid shopper at Dollar Tree. I regularly visit with the interest of purchasing supplies I use daily such as deodorant, body wash, toilet paper and mailing envelopes which are just a few supplies that keep me in-and-out of Dollar Tree regularly. And on occasions I purchase decorations to hang on my door that pertain to our seasons which all cost no more than a dollar! Prior to visiting this location I gave myself a 10-minute shopping window because I can easily get lost in looking at dollar items sold. I also make out a list of what I need prior to walking in so that I do not purchase useless things that I may not need at the moment. The inner interior of the store mirrors other locations, but the store set-up slightly differs. And the items presented are typical to any other location, but as like other stores there is always something a tad different in comparison. In this case, I took notice of the 7 pound bags of 'Premium Ice' inside the freezer which was the number one thing that caught my eye during this visit. Whoever would have thought that Dollar Tree would have access to ice because I sure did not! Never seen it until I visited this location. As for parking, this location does have parking that is fitting to the store yet it seems so congested due to there being other businesses coinciding with it in Washington Commons - Shopping center. Even though I go out of my way to visit this location, the thought of purchasing my typical needs for only a dollar outweighs the extra trip out. And lastly, the customer service I received was pleasant! And none less than good. Thomas G

We have been hearing about this strip mall in Morton Gro being torn down for years. The rumors of…read morewhat was going to become of this mall, so many variations of what is going in here. They are actually in the process of doing just that. Sad to say the whole mall where my LA Fitness is at is being demolished one building at a time. First the store on the Far East side of the mall was torn down last summer. The former Dominick's has been vacated for several years, that was just torn down. Next they are going back to the east side and tearing down the stand alone Salvation Army Store. Next little piggy to go after the Salvation Army Store is The Dollar Tree. Wahhhh cry me a River. I was told they are going to relocate somewhere about 2 blocks away I have used this store from time to time because of the convenience & location a few doors over from my LA Fitness. I lost my lock one day and came here and bought a lock for you guessed it $1. They also have greeting cards from 2 for $1 or $1/a piece instead of paying $4 or $5 dollars for a card someone is going to read, look at and toss out. I don't mean to be cheap, but if you can save a few bucks why not especially knowing that the card will probably be looked at & tossed out. As of Feb 01, 2019 Dollar Tree is still there, but I'm afraid their days are numbered as demolition is imminent
