One of my favorite dollar tree locations! This dollar tree is absolutely massive and is as big as a grocery store. The best part? It's CLEAN! Everything is neatly organized, I rarely see boxes or items scattered around the floor. The selection of items here is vast! They have tons of seasonal items, toys, glassware, body care, hair care, organizers, dishes, you name it! I'm always seeing employees stocking and cleaning the shelves (thank you!). You could honestly get lost in here because of how big it is. They have MULTIPLE aisles for toys and organizers. They sometimes get the nice high quality toys which is great! Their makeup isn't in cases thank goodness! I love their makeup selection but I can never find any whole ioni collections. Maybe it's my luck but they only have ioni products scattered around here and there, never the whole display box. Love this store and would absolutely keep coming here. Came i to the Dollar Tree to find some supplies, I needed to make a project for work. They had a good selection of artificial flowers that I needed for my project and I went with something neutral in a soft cream. Also found a bucket to put the flowers in, which was also a good deal. Got back to work and started right away and I completed this project within five minutes. Picked up some crafting paper, a cutting board, and some red and green bells for some future projects. Its so much cheaper, buying my materials here than going to a craft store. Also picked up some Halloween items before they run out. Found some cute, silly putty and ghost containers that had to come with me and some jeweled spider rings. read more

This is a nice store where you can get a lot of party supplies, school supplies, cleaning supplies, and seasonal items fore Valentines, Christmas, Easter, Fall, summer, etc. In the school supplies section they usually have a lot of coloring books and other stationeries. And almost everything is just 1.25$. They have a a lot of different sections: Snacks, kitchen items, bathroom items, baby section, etc. Staff is friendly and they try to move the lines quickly. The place gets busy on weekends so expect little bit of lines. Store is located in a plaza with other business but parking is plenty. read more

This is a nice Dollar Tree location, spacious and lots of items to choose from. I even told one of the workers how impressed I am with the store, the cleanliness and the layout! The 1-star rating is for the cashier who picked her nose right in front of me before she thought she was going to ring up my items. Great store and professional and clean atmosphere. I appreciate the manager here and have waited a bit before reviewing this location the manager is especially kind and judicious. I think he has done a good job of managing people especially since this area can get more foot traffic than most. I appreciate how CLEAN this store is. Very very clean and well kept. Lowest prices among all the stores in the county and exceptionally professional. Great if you just want to grab some snacks for the kids or toys for to-go bags. This is definitely one of the higher end dollar tree stores and I APPRECIATE how clean it is and how the prices are still affordable. For $3 or $5 I'd rather just go to TJMax or ROSS. This store does good to keep the prices low and the manager helping me find my lost vape was all the push I needed to write a glowing review. Very nice people. I don't think they deserve the negative wrap. They help our homeless people and disabled people as they come through and find a way to keep the area exceptionally clean and professional. This place is VERY handicapped friendly. You can wheel a cart in here easily. Oh and I should mention that there is a BENCH AT THE FRONT OF THR STORE. Huge score for those of us with back problems ‍ I like this little gem. It's in a great location. Very clean. Well kept. Professional. And more high end for the bay. Please keep it up. The customer service and employees are TERRIBLE. The worst customer service I have ever seen. I have seem several employee yelling at customers. Instead of handling a situation with an answer. The employees will also charge you for plastic bags and then not give them to you. Once I looked at my receipt after something was not correct with my purchase and the employee tried to bully me calling me "weird" and telling me to "get out of the store" for just lookin at my receipt. IMHO I usually shop at another Dollar Tree on my side of town, mainly because of its proximity to another store I frequent. Today I chose this Dollar Tree because my regular store was out of the one item I buy every year from them...a monthly desk planner for the new year. At first I walked the whole store but couldn't find any. This particular Dollar Tree is a mess. This is probably due to lack of staffing, but dang! When the cashier asked what I was looking for, she pointed to a certain area and I told her I checked it already. A customer heard me and said, "here they are!" pointing to a front header that I had totally missed! Sure enough, there was my desired monthly desk calendar for 2023!!! Been to several Dollar stores and their prices have gone up on several items from a dollar to $1.25. Whenever there's long line it's usually one cashier and the manager need to step up and take responsibility and there seems to be high turnover so pay maybe the reason why they don't stay very long. I must admit this store is large and well stock, but customer service is not on the priority list. read more

This location is absolute trash, their organizational skills and inability to properly stock and rotate items, makes them worth nothing. They carry a decent variety of goods, but it always seems that their shelves and aisles are a mess, making it hard to shop comfortably. One of the largest dollar stores I've ever been too, but I needed supplies for my classes and this place is pretty cheap. Almost everything is a dollar, which doesn't seem to be the case with Daiso anymore. If you come here during off-peak times like I did, the lines are short and the supplies are grand. I'm surprised what they are able to sell for a dollar! It's pretty crazy, and thankfully places like this exist in the Bay Area, where nothing feels cheap anymore. Only needed to pick up a few dozen cheap balloons and this location plus four others were out of helium. The cashier shouts across the store "HELLO WE ARE OUT OF HELIUM!" I was looking for balloon weights too but thanks for the info that I already read on the sign walking in. Go to get in line at her register and she says "sorry I'm only accepting cash and I only take 10 items or less"... I ask her if she knew where any other location had helium for balloons and she says "we're too busy to check for you right now"!!!!!!!!?????? First of all, busy?? With?? What?? The cashier next to her has a million people waiting to be helped and she's standing here doing nothing! I had to call multiple locations to figure out what stores had helium. The worst place ever!!!!!! Racist and rude staff! I have been here today try to get a ballon for my son's birthday. Since I never purchased any balloon from a dollar tree before, so I don't know how to buy it. Nobody present to offer help, so we waited and asked a cashier. she just rude stared us and told us in a very light voice and pointed to the ballon place with a very arrogant attitude. We didn't the get it but we guess maybe we can pull one ballon from the ceiling? my husband tried to jump and get one ballon, and she started saying "hey sir don't do it" Excuse me? What we should do then? She said there were the drawers of balloons. So I get one from a drawer but should we fill the balloon by ourselves? Nobody ever helped. And she just started talking and laughing with a white customer about how stupid we are don't know how to do it in America. Excuse me? How do I suppose to know if you don't tell me? Who give you the privilege to laugh ppl for buying things at this store?? I see there were only two cashiers here, and they all looked tired and unhappy. Well it is dollar tree of course, nobody expects they love their jobs. If I could give this a 0 star, I would. Let me explain why. After shopping for my items, I stood in line. Only one register was open and I was in front of this man but another associate named Erika decided to open a register on the opposite side of the where the already-opened register was. Erika called the man behind me to her newly opened registered so I followed (mind you, the line was long) and I told Erika, I was in front of him, I should be rung up first. She raised her voice at me and said "no, you go to the back of the line." I told her "no because I was clearly here before the man" She told me again to go to the back of the line, and I told her she were to ring me up now because I was here first. She switched her cashier light off and said no and called for another associate to ring me up and left. I have no idea what caused her behavior. Perhaps it was the fact that I was asian, and the man and her were both the same ethnicity, I don't know. But I do know that I do not deserve to be treated with such disrespect. I usually don't like coming to this Dollar Tree. But the other day I had no choice. I was so impressed with the costumer service! I was in line with a man who was being trained and he was so polite. I am guessing the man who was training him was the manager because he greeted everyone with a smile. The lines here are usually so long because they usually have only one register open. Helping out a friend organize a Baby Shower... Where do you go first? Dollar Tree!!! No Party City is not the right answer, if you have a low budget. Admittedly it's easier to find theme based stuff at party city but on a lower budget- Dollar tree it is. I was surprised by the range of items they have from photo frames to household stuff, party decorations, food, cards, cleaning supplies... Even Denture Cleansers. I wouldn't essentially buy makeup from them, but party decorations ...why not? You would anyways take them off the next day. We even found a nice Tiara and sash for the "mommy to be". I usually have a good experience with this store, but today I had the WORST customer service ever! I was buying balloons for a friend's birthday so the cashier called an assistant to help at the balloon station. However, the assistant grumbled that he was just a doorman and blowing balloons was NOT his job. As I was waiting (patiently) for him to get my balloons, which were hovering on the ceiling 10 feet above us, he kept on complaining that he should have just called in sick today and he was so tired after driving all day. WELL GEEZ. Of course I faked my niceness and said, "Thank you for all the trouble," and stuff, but I couldn't help thinking about how ridiculous this was! I understand we all have bad days, but he could have at least kept all that to himself or NOT work. From the way he acted, I felt like I was the store associate and he was the irritated customer. I have to deal with enough angry customers at work, so I do not need to deal with childish store associates during MY shopping trips! At first I was going to give this place 1 star but because the TRUE manager helped me with my online issue, it saved the store from being a 1 star. The reason for the 3 star is because the first time I went there, someone pretending to be the manager, making me wait 15+ min while talking to a coworker about his life experience, told me nothing can be done for my online order that was shipping to that store and to come back later. After a few days, I went back and spoke to the actual manager of the store and she was amazing in helping me out. She did her due diligence looking for the shipped item but couldn't find it so she made some calls to Dollar Tree Corporate office and was able to help get my money back. Went to this Dollar tree for the first time a few months ago. I went to that particular shopping center to check out the grocery outlet there, also for the first time. It is a huge store. Close to twice the size of the one in Milpitas. Lots of great bargains. I plan to return. read more

I like coming here for pet toys, poop bags, spices, ketchup, toys for kids, holiday decorations, party supplies, nail polish, and random knick knacks. At Halloween they have multiple quick and easy options for a costume if you're on a budget, don't have any ideas, or are strapped for time. This location is bigger than the other Dollar Tree locations that I've been to around San Jose. It's conveniently located just off the freeway-680 and McKee. Plus, not every Dollar Tree I've been to has a pet section either, but this one does. If you can't find what you need, then Target is just across the street. Talk about a convenient location close to other stores you might need to visit in one trip. read more
