don't get me wrong i love my local dds because it's always full of stuff i need/love but customer service needs improvement. The "guard" on duty always seems to have a scowl and generally looks like he hates being there, which creates a negative and unwelcoming atmosphere for customers. the only nice "guard" is an old guy who's always super sweet and welcoming but the one who is there almost everyday sucks with his caca face 24/7. if you hate your job then look go look for another but stop being weird like that. Good store location but security guard really on edge. Continues to stare at people in store aggressively. Checks receipt at door even though guard is watching cashier and customer interaction entire time when items are purchased. Goes through each item 1 by 1 and matches receipt to each item. Old lady leaving in store was stopped by him and checked all her stuff took at least 2 minutes. Tried to check my receipt lol that didn't go in his favor. read more

This is no the best store from this chain I have been too (too many sketchy people, outside the store and inside too, watch out your purse ladies, I felt that 2 guys were following me all the time...I was ready to show some Krav Maga moves and all. All is very cheap but is a hit or miss. You have to go often to this kind of stores to get really nice things for ridiculous prices...and that is always a BINGO! with the lingerie section. I literally have underwear for every day of the year, all styles, different fabrics and textures. Bras galore, with filling, without fillings, sporty style, lace see thru...all you want, even if you are into more spicy-erotic stocking, etc, you get your items here for $3 a piece, bras good quality for $6. oh my god, don't go here. lol if you like stores like DD's, there are at least three other locations in the San Jose area but this one is terrible. It's messy, smelly, and in a weird corner location. I came here to get a pair of shorts for my daughter at a good price (which, it's a discount store so of course I got them) so that was fine. the employees here are just rude. even my daughter asked me why they were talking to people like that. not only that but they have very inappropriate conversations in front of customers, very loudly (i think the cashier was talking about her friend being in a cult or something???) the person fixing up the lines was yelling at customers that they were in the wrong line (there was literally 3 people in line but ok girl) saying one line is for purchases and the other line is for returns. Problem is, they only had one cashier at the register. So what exactly would be the difference? Anyway, their selection sucks in comparison to other DD's, and their employees suck too. First time ever going to a dd's discount. A coworker told me that she finds good deals at dd's (but at the location next to tastea). This dd's was closer to me so I decided to check it out. Its in this sketch plaza and the store is in a corner. Lots of people were here today around 1pm. Some bed spreads and comforters were really cheap! I got an h&m jacket here for $6.99 before tax. There were only 2/3 cashiers and they were super slow. Probably need to be trained more? And only one loss prevention, he was on his phone the whole time. Messy store! read more

As liquidation stores go, this seems as though they get the leftovers the other stores didn't want. If you happen to want what they have, it's gold. This is consistent with the San Diego area location I visited in January. I suppose it's not that different from Marshalls or TJ Maxx or any other, although they didn't have anything marked as Irregular. The company seems to be opening stores all over the state. read more

Wow.... Hide yo kids, hide yo wife, most of all hide yo wallet! This place is very sketch, but the prices are crazy cheap so it comes w/ the territory. You may have to duck and cover from stray bullets but you can save a ton on your.... No not car insurance. The store is surprisingly well organized and as clean as it can be in this neighborhood. The housewares section is great, not amazing quality but for someone like me that likes little knick knacks and changes decor w/ my mood and seasons its totally fine. If I could give them a zero I would. I came into the store to do a exchange and the first thing the security girl says to me is I need to take your bag up front. Not a hi, how are you or can I help you. It was rude!!!I told her that I had my wallet in it and keys and I was giving her the receipt for my exchange but she said she had to take my bag. I was so shock because she made me feel like I was there to take things. It was a horrible experience! Then the next two person that came into the store had a bag which she said nothing to them. I went to this store and heard a blonde haired white woman cashier say out loud "I want some fucken EBT,where's my free money" I so wanted to tell her she said that loud enough to wear customers can hear her big mouth.she was telling this to a co worker the other cashier next to her to be exact and they had finished with the customers that where in front of them. I will not be shopping here if they don't allow bathroom use! My 2 year old daughter needed to go pee and they even refused for her to use it which is disgusting to me and the managers excuse is they have no janitors to clean the restroom, how can u explain to ur 2 years old they have to wait, what if my daughter had an accident on there floor they'd find away to clean that up right? Horrible customer service, I went shopping to the store located in white and story in San Jose, and the associates seem like they had no interested in their work or being at work. While checking out the cashier was very rude, I was very disappointed in the service and interaction the associates had with the customers.
