I went to the granite st location in Quincy a couple of days ago. After not going there for so long. The store has changed so much. it's so much cleaner! i went in there for 1 thing and ended up buying so many more things. i went to cash out and the assistant manager was ringing me up. I brought up the fact that i came for one thing and she says that it happens to her all the time and then some how she got me to buy some peeps that were in front of that register lol. Dollar Tree is the best place to go for some candy, arts and craft supplies, cotton pads, holiday decorations, and just about anything for every day casual use for cheap. Though the prices for most items have been marked up to $1.50 after COVID, it is still reasonable for most of the stuff they sell here. I oftentimes stop in for some cotton pads and candy. Sometimes, get coloring books. Parking lot with lots of spots available so parking here is not an issue. read more

I went there today. The other dollar tree told me to go to this one to find a pair of headphones. They only had wireless, that was fine. But they did not fit my ears. So I went back in the store asking to return them. The manager was so rude, so angry..she went straight to the office. I was only trying to at least exchange for the headphones that didn't fit. I literally had bought them no less than 10 minutes ago. At least there was a good And REAL employee working, she handled what the manager couldn't. I went in last night with the last-minute request I needed for a wedding card, and the girl was in the middle of setting up for Christmas, but she still took time away to tell me exactly where the card was what I was looking for said if I need any help, please come back and ask her. She should be more than willing to put aside what she was doing and get me what I needed. This store is a hot mess. Merchandise all over. Water soaked cardboard in the aisle. Nothing is organized and shelves are pretty bare. Boxes to stock all over the place, hard to get down some aisles. read more

The Milford DT was my favorite store. It was clean organized and very friend service people. I don' find that at many other DT store manager are not team players they don't jump in and help out their cashiers. Linda at Dollar Tree went out of her way to allow 4 other customers to walk in front of myself and 2 other women patiently waiting to pay for our desired products. The staff follow you around and the shelf space looks like a disaster. It's not presentable and they do not know how to work effe during peak times. read more

Usually go to the Dollar tree on Quincy Ave but was in the area of this one. Was a Saturday afternoon lines were long at 2 registers . Saw manager ringing an order on another one but light was not on. Me and another guy walked over , told us he was closing this register. Really the lines are down the isle . He did not care closed down and walked to the end of the store. We all felt bad for the cashiers. About ten minutes later it is finally my turn, see the manager walk up with his lunch heated up and walks in the side office. Guess is lunch is more important then helping your customers and cashiers. This store is also always a mess. Maybe visit the Quincy ave location and see how a store should look and run. This is definitely one of the better Dollar Tree stores in the area. It's pretty big and the layout of the store makes it easy to shop. I always leave the store with some very good finds. read more

I was in the area, and saw this Dollar Tree on the sign for Granite Place. I didn't anticipate shopping here, but was sure that they haven't been here that long since I KNOW they weren't here the last time I went running errands in Quincy. Immediate u-turn for cheap candy, halloween decor, and some basic everyday use items. Being my first year teaching at a school, I forgot about a few necessary things and had been attempting to stop at a Dollar Tree recently, but none had been convenient. Hand sanitizer, tissues, candy, and some halloween stuff to spruce up the classroom was necessary. This place had it all and more. In addition, the store was organized, bright, well stocked, and well staffed. Convenient parking right outside and tons of merchandise, all at a dollar or less! Only complaint (-1 star) is that they didn't have Charms Blow Pops.... the best item the Dollar Tree sells. Can't compare it to the other Quincy location, as I haven't been there, but comparing it to others in the area that I have been to, this one is closer to the top of the list. Horrid! She was mad cuz I forgot my wallet. And then I asked her if she could take the $20 of mine and take three items off she got very upset with me made me feel like an a******. The manager came by this happened 7:45pm Monday February 20th . And she explained that's you cannot help me I told8 her I had $20 I need it three items deleted. This dollar tree is quite a good store! They have very good customer service. The people are very genuine and nice, but at the same time, they don't dwell on conversations and let us go. There were a couple odd ones, but that is quite common. And we spoke to the manager about a hard time with one cashier, and she was so understanding and polite. She listened and made sure the problem was handled. The store is also very clean, and not messy like the one by Wal-Mart. (which can be very messy sometimes) The floors are clean, with no stains. They also recently upgraded the store and made the shelves taller, so we have access to more items. They also have some canvases for only a dollar! Canvases can be very expensive, and I'm a artist so I'm always running out of canvases! They are small or small/medium, so not too large! But like I said, canvases can be very expensive. They forgot to give me one of my bags which contained my 5 yr olds 4 items she picked for herself. When I went back to rectify the situation with my receipt a sad excuse for a woman named amanda, had the nerve to tell me to come back on Monday to speak to someone else. You stole from 5 yr old. And on top of it all they said I still would never ever get my money back. That trash woman is lucky my kids all wanted the treats they picked for the week otherwise I would have brought them back. Shopped here couple months ago with my girlfriend to find tools to make pizza. The cashier lady (happens to be Caucasian) felt racist.... Reason for this is because cashier was talking nice and friendly to the customer (happens to be to Caucasian too) who was in front my girlfriend(asian), when it was my girlfriends turn, the cashier face immediately turned glum. I gave my girlfriend card to slide, it didn't get through the first time, the cashier yelled at my girlfriend she HATES it when people don't know how to use the Ebt machine. My girlfriend get scared and flustered easily and ofc she was startled by the cashiers outburst... Very unprofessional...the cashier rolled her eyes as my girlfriend attempts to slide the card again... When we were done I heard the cashier mumble something under her breath.
